MinervaFan...me and the Queen have been travelling in the same circles lately huh! First London, now Kentucky! Wonder what type of hat she is wearing? At least she always wears hats! Thanks for the weather report. I have packed more for this trip than I have for anything in my life...I have no idea of what to wear, etc. I just kept throwing stuff in for just in case... IlovetracyQ...has it been verified that SC is leaving? It sounded in something I read that he wanted to pursue his music, but then I also read somewhere he wasn't leaving. And what was up with Ned coming to the wedding. You think WK would have been like I showed up for this...for like three lines? Hope he is on maybe today to see tracy talking to alan or something or at least to share one scene with his mama!! Will check in before I leave today....to see what is up...won't get to watch today, but at least I have something to look forward to when I get home. Smirks I second what Deb said. I watched your tribute video and was just in awe...that is what GH should have done...it was amazing...how hard could that have been for them to do something like that...that is their job! Hey was that not the grossest sex scene today between sonny and amelia??? Oh why oh why couldn't that be tracy and luke in the metrocourt. It was so tacky and fake...she is nasty...blah... Only the random one night stand couple who are drunk get sex on GH! Even Jason and Sam don't have sex...they just sit on the couch...everyone is drunk on this show all the time.....great message to the teen scene they are always trying to aim to....get drunk and have random sex at a hotel.... Ok...stepping off my soapbox....and off to a karate belt ceremony tonight for my son. Then I must pack yet again... Will try to stop by later.... Hi Nex...long time no chat!!!

Oh yeah...I think that store is on the second level over the ice rink in the galleria in Dallas (oh wait...that is the galleria in Houston that has the ice ink). Maybe I should look for a pair of those! Glad you told me it is hot there Deb. I have two linen suit things with like a tank thing under it...guessI can take the jacket off...as we are going there friday and sat. This hat is cracking me up...so ridiculous! We are going on some horse country tour one day and some bourbon tour the other. My husband is broadcasting live from some bouron factory or distillery or whatever you call it one of the days. What the heck do you wear for a horse country tour?? Boots so you don't step in the horse poop??? Too bad I have to wear open toe shoes as my toe is still hurting. I have these bandaids on both big toes from that ingrown toe nail thing....and a huge bruise on my leg from smacking my suitcase into it and have no tan at all...I will look lovely in a white linen suit with sandals and bandaid toes!! Hey at least all these fancy ladies will feel better about themselves looking at me--ha ha. I have no manicure either...and really don't care. I did apologize to my son this morning for totally losing it and scarring him for life I blamed it on jet lag, stress, PMS (ok I didn't say that part)... I read Nora Ephron's book I feel bad about my neck on the plane yesterday. It was pretty funny...took like an hour to read the whole book.....I bought Barack Obama's book to read on the plane tomorrow, but I think I will not be considered very sociable if I read as tehre are only 6 of us going...that might appear rather rude huh? chat with you all later

Hey..I finally got a chance to watch all the videos this morning! I love them all! I had like a little lunacy screening here going on! I watched like 7 in a row of the new ones from the past few weeks. I'm off to pack yet again! No TQ today right? Tomorrow? You know it really ticks me off...why didn't edward just even say one throw away like like "just cause tracy is out of town at a conference, doesn't mean you get out of goign ot the wedding" Or she is out of town at a business meeting, etc So annoying...I am thinking their anniversary will be the night (maybe)...what day is that exactly...Staci will know for sure!

OMG...so much for being relaxed. I am having a freaking heart attack...I need a valium...and some wine...or maybe both!!! I have literally one freaking day and a half home to catch up, and my 7th grade son springs in on me that he has a research paper due this week and the research bibliography source cards and all the notecards are due tomorrow. He did them all FREAKING wrong! He didn't follow directions at all for the grading rubric that were plain as freaking day!!! Green for summary cards, pink for paraphrase and yellow for quotes. He did them all wrong and didn't get any quotes and all the research was done at school and now he is like "I need your help". I am ready to take a gun and shoot myself many times.... I am an evil witch, screaming at him like a lunatic....I told him he is just going to have to fail this and learn a lesson in following directions as believe me this is not the first time this has happened. He had all weekend to ask my husband to help him with this while I was gone, but he waits til the last minute. And it is not even like I can help him as the research books and stuff are all in the library. So I tried to help him the best I could after literally screaming and carrying on like a banshee and probably saying things that will put him in therapy for years. If I rescue him all the time, he will never be able to do this stuff on his own. I just had to point him in the right direction and try to let him figure it out. I feel so mean, but this is NOT my responsibility!!!! Right???? O.K...just breathe...just breathe...count to ten...it is 7th grade english...if he gets a F on a paper he will go to high school, he will go to college, it will have no bearing on his life or mine....but it just makes me NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He has got to learn some responsibility and I never want to do a research paper again as long as I live... thanks for letting me vent... Now....what days is TQ on this week? Hey everyone!!! Well last time it was "cheerio" I'm back from London, now it is "Hola todas, como esta?" back from Miami!! I am exhausted! Had a good quick visit and at least was there for my mom's 65th birthday party. Now I am a mad rush to do laundry, grocery shop, write my next instruction manual for the kids for this week and arrange rides, pay bills all before we leave Tuesday til Sunday again for Kentucky! OY!!! After Sunday May 6th I am home for a long, long time!! So I am dying to catch up on everything on the thread. I will be on the computer this afternoon and would love to chat with anyone who is around. I will probaby try to be in the breakroom around 3pm central if anyone is around! Can't wait to catch up on the new fics and videos (while I write my instruction manual and catch up on email, etc)

thanks for missing me guys! I am headed out to the airport now...watched this week and caught up. I thought by the way everyoen was talking that they ended lunacy...it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. Obviously cut, but at least something and so them....no mushy sentiment... I didn't think the luke/sonny thing was so bad either. I mean not what I would have wanted him to say, but pretty typical of him..at least he said she was remarkable. Hello everyone! Gosh I missed you guys. London was awesome! Haven't had a chance to watch GH from Tuesday this week and I am guessing that is the only day she was on. I am going to watch it today between my airport trips (my MIL is leaving this am), then my doctor's appt for my toe, and then for me to get on a plane, once again (ugghhh...after 10 hour flight yesterday the last thing I Feel like doing) and going to Miami til Sunday morning. I am officially sick of traveling!!! So I will try to catch up on the thread this weekend. Any highlights you all want to tell me....like new videos I must see of fanfics I must read????? London was an amazing city. Sort of like NYC, but cleaner and quainter (word???) and the people were so nice. I gained five pounds from eating and drinking so much...I can't tell you how many pubs we had to pop in to (all in the name of schmoozing with these visitlondon.com people). I walked a ton, saw the crown jewels at the tower of london, went to westminster abbey (so amazing how old that is), went to buckingham palace, shopped at harrods (although didn't buy a thing in London as the pound is worth 2 american dollars so the prices were all double over there). Anyway, just wanted to say a quick hi and I missed you guys. Will be home sunday around noon at my house. Will try to catch up with you guys Sunday night! Cheerio... Carrie

Not a good start to my trip either!! Bummer. And the whole show is getting pre-empted here cause of a gunman at NASA in Houston. Guess I didn't miss anything at all. Maybe cauise all the delays from the Virginia Tech they are a day behind or something??? I can only hope! My toe is killing me...might have to find a doctor in London...I might have to drink heavily on the plane to sedate my toe and to console myself that no lunacy happened today!!!!

Yeah, Deb...I do have to go, sucks but someone has to do it ya know??? I finished packing and watched the whole week of Tracy again this morning to tide me over for a week! Now my other toe is killing me...it is never-ending with me. I am going to have to wear sandals in 60 degree weather there as sneakers are still hurting my toe! Deb You put that as eloquently as you would have written a story! Those were my feeling exactly from yesterday. It was brilliance in writing and acting! You are so right...nobody in Luke's own family could ever be brave enough or get through to him enough to say those words to him. Edit And I totally agree with you with Alan's purpose to make tracy grow up finally. You know, it is funny, but Tracy is usually the one who is childish, selfish, immature, greedy, etc, but with Luke, she is totally the grown up, mature one. She has risen above so much with him. She points out to him all the time that sometimes a parent has to actually parent or give advice or guidance (even though she knows she is not mother of the year), she gives him a reality check....like "hello...do you want to air your dirty laundry in front of lulu?" She has told him, go be a father to your daughter, she needs you, stop wallowing, etc. Then she has even tried to protect and take care of Lulu. Even at the expense of her own son (encouring her to have the baby) which is very un-tracy like behavior. Yesterday's Tracy was a far cry from the Tracy who knew Paul married her under false pretenses, who knew deep down he didn't love her or want to be with her and groveled and begged for a scrap of his attention and lost herself because she was in love with him. Yesterday's Tracy was I love you, but....if you think I am letting you get away with this s**t, you have another thing coming. It was her knowing no matter how much she loves him, she will not be any man's fool ever again. You go girl TQ!!!!! Will check back this morning....gotta say bye to my kids before school who I will not see for a week! and

OK...I was in the worst mood when I read the thread before I watched, but today was probably the most real and amazing scene they have ever shared! At first when he was telling her the marriage was over if he lost laura, I wanted to join TL and freaking kick his sorry butt and smash the tv with a bat...but then as TL so aptly put it....the old Tracy...filled with fire emerged! She rocked that scene! She not only admitted she loved him FINALLY, but then she proceeded to tell him what Luke has needed to hear for a long time....she is nobody's second choice and he better freaking face up to reality that Laura is gone...and she ins't coming back and she is not going to be putting up with this crap for much longer. That was the most real, honest scene they have ever shared. SHE GOT THE LAST WORD and the real ultimatum. So there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah for Tracy, JE is unreal....and whoever wrote that scene I must suck it up and compliment. It perfectly sets up him finding her drinking tomorrow at the metrocourt and him kissing her feet (hopefully). He needed that swift kick in the butt! I also think the fact that they are showing them fight and have problems that are serious and not just about $15 alimony makes them viable as a real couple on the show. Every stupid super couple GH lvoes (Jason/Sam, Sonny/Carly, Robin/Patrick, etc...they all constantly have drama and fights and conflict" That is what soap life is all about. So to me, this validates that they do actually consider them a couple....if they didn't care about them, they wouldn't even make them fight.... So I am praying for tomorrow to be the follow up to today and for them to knock a few back, do the deed and realize whatever it is about their marriage!!! BTW...loved how tracy said she loves him and that is a rare emotion for her and also loved that she said she was willing to go after scott when there was nothing in it for her and that is even more rare! so what is today supposed to be...tracy/scotty make a deal?? And, let me just say, at least Tracy is in the sweeps previews! That is the first I have seen of it. And she can go all the way as Deb so aptly put it to help Luke!!!! I just finished my novel on taking care of my kids for my MIL!!! Just signed medical release forms, sent notes to teachers/schools, copied insurance cards, etc. You would think I was leaving for good! What a pain in the you know what..... Watching yesterday was such a different feel from Monday with Luke/Tracy...curious to see how today goes. Oh...and luckily we don't have to leave for the airport til 3:30 on Friday so I will get to watch GH! In case that is the "day" or the "morning after" I will miss next Monday through Thursday...Ms. Q...is she going to be on next week at all do you know?
