It’s funny we both said 5 and it was actually less 🤦🏽‍♂️ It is so wild to think it’s been this long and I still just see it as Laura Wright playing Carly instead of Carly as a character. I’ve grown to accept Laura since she’s obviously going nowhere but she still isn’t my favorite though she sells the Jason relationship impeccably.

Last season gave me no hope they could have this type of come back but I have been so happy to see it. The newbies all work for me. Jacqueline is pathetic. She’s gonna learn to leave Karen alone. And picking the Mia horse when yall can barely stand each other is dumb. They’ve truly overestimated Mia’s popularity.

Honestly I have no notes. This perfectly summed up last night for me😂😂. Potomac is SO back.

It’d be funny if offscreen Chloe informed her little sister about the hell Kate put her through for years. I’m shocked Nancy would want her daughter that close to Kate.

Wow today was heavy. Having lost a sibling in the last 2 years to a surprise heart attack as well, the Davis girls scene was really emotional. Everyone really nailed it even if these aren’t the two actresses with the most history with Kelly. Jason telling Scout and Danny was well done too. I hope this loss is what it takes to give us a more human Jason going forward. Rocco with Laura admitting his jealousy and now the guilt for that jealousy. He’s a pretty good younger actor. DZ was also quite good as Dante today. All of the various beats were played. I even allowed myself not to hate Sonny briefly today. Robert and Holly felt completely out of place today but I did like the flashbacks since I’ve never seen them as a couple. The flashbacks also highlight how well Emma has aged even if it’s with a little work, she looks amazing.

Just wow. I didn’t like it when Ron killed Abby over at DAYS out of bitterness and I don’t like killing Sam out of bitterness. And they could not have made the scenes today more final. I actually thought Nancy and Kelly did well over the years to sell the late in life relationship especially when it’d be all the David girls. I truly felt for her Alexis in those scenes today. As usual Frank couldn’t let the damn scenes breathe. Michael agreeing to keep the secret of cheating on his wife after being upset at her for kissing Drew is just wow. He was definitely raised by Sonny Corinthos. And to know he’s gonna justify keeping his secret because he knows Willow is lying about it being one kiss. And then had sex with his wife less than 24 hours after cheating on her with his ex and her friend 🤦🏽‍♂️. Why does Cody hate Drew so much suddenly? I will say I do enjoy CM as Drew and it’s because of this storyline and usage under PM initially. Making him sort of a sleeve works for me. I always hated Ryan Lavery but this is working. I liked Liz being the one to explain things to Jason and sort of be there for him. “I figured you would outlive me, you were supposed to.” Steve really was great. Like others I knew he could be un Jason like as Harris on Days but man he was so good today. I hated JaSam but I felt their love and the heartbreak today. That montage definitely showed Steve and Kelly genuinely had some great chemistry at one time. This poster has a real hate boner for Brook Kerr and Portia for some reason. She was perfectly fine today. I’m confused what was so awful about her performance. Rocco and Dante walking off the elevator hearing Alexis. Wow!

I remember when I came back for Bobbie’s death. Some of those episodes I really wanted to feel something but the scenes were like 60 seconds. There was no time to breathe at all.

There was some excellent chemistry between CM and both women and they did nothing with it essentially. I was very excited when the very obvious seeds of the story first were even planted. So disappointing how it turned out.

They made sure to give her quite the onscreen and final death. Which I still think is dumb when Hartley is around if you hate Monacco so much.

Thank you, this why I said 5 times as well. She hasn’t really been a presence on the show for most of October. I honestly didn’t think it was bad. He realistically was freaking out trying to save the life of his sister that was JUST doing fine. If he’d played it subtle, it wouldn’t have worked for me.

Woooow. Wasn’t expecting Sam to kick the bucket today but there it was. I’m conflicted as I wasn’t a Sam fan when she was part of the Carly/Sonny/Sam/Jason vortex and she did seem pretty bored by it herself but I enjoyed her Drew and the bits I’ve seen of the relationship with Dante. I think a Lulu/Dante/Sam triangle would’ve worked just fine without having to kill off Sam. Happy to see Chad Duell was back for the Willow fallout. Did not expect him to immediately sleep with Sasha 🤦🏽‍♂️. He’s now gone further to cheat than Willow ever did.

Was NOT expecting Drew to be the one to blurt it out to Michael right before Nina and Willow could. And they did it on a day without Chad Duell, interesting. I was loooving Tracy and Ned plotting together.

This was wonderful. Usually you see a lot of nice things said about someone when they pass, but Drake truly comes across as the most well liked man there could’ve been in Daytime.

That’s how I took it as well. Today was a day that revolved heavily around a story that John was involved in so it made sense to me. I think 10 minutes is being generous to make that 😂

10/28 And today we get a duality Sonny episode. He gets to do minor criminal stuff with Holly and Jason that’s light hearted and then he’s great supportive father to Dante at the hospital. Hell he even told Jason family is everything while going to check on Jason’s baby mama who didn’t seem to care one bit about Sam now. You honestly wouldn’t know Jason and Spinelli were ever close with how little they’ve interacted since Jason came back from the dead. I can’t say I’ve actually minded though because Spinelli as a family man has toned him down significantly than when he was in the constant Jason/Carly/Sam/Sonny vortex. Oh [!@#$%^&*] Cody’s drunk ass blurting out the Drew secret! Now that was unexpected! But damn that story could’ve been so much juicier but the new writers clearly didn’t care about it. Color me shocked to hear Sam made it through surgery fine.

I honestly didn’t realize it until I saw a poster mention it. They really Jedi mind tricked me away from thinking about the story that pissed me off. All of the Liz/Ric/Lucky stuff like you said thus far has been very organic. If it can spin off to Ava and Ric without anyone feeling like a loser I’d love it.
