I’m so confused how Ava has literally no money when she was pretty well off for years before Nikolas. I remember that much from when I used to watch. It’s just a stupid plot device to embarass Ava as I guess it’s that time of the month again.

Wait they’re recasting Rachel?! That little girl plays the most perfect demon Spawn of Kristen. I had the same disappointment when they recast Ciara and Theo from their younger performers.

This is such a wild way to clear the path for Drew and Willow even more.

So you really wanted to ruin my New Year 3 days in. I thought we were better than that.

I gotta agree, Susan and Tracey were styled perfectly for NYE. Also I’m too young to know Danny/Christine from their heyday but I genuinely enjoy them both and their pop ins. You can truly feel Danny’s love for Daniel. MD and MG have always had perfect father and son chemistry since I started watching about 20 years ago. Ian getting caught by Mariah, Faith, and Nick was also great. I guess I can’t be mad at them for not noticing Sharon was gone due to the Ian distractions. These are the smartest geriatrics. I haven’t been this interested in Y&R in a long time.

Am I crazy or am I still seeing the chemistry between Jack and Lauren from the teased storyline years ago that got dropped?

Oh [!@#$%^&*] why did I forget about Chad. I actually love Chad when it comes to DiMeras. But I’ve always been a big Thaao fan so I always enjoyed Tony and Andre. Thaao is such a soap actor in the best way to me and he’s never phoned it in. I’ve grown to love Tony/Anna as the elder DiMera’s. Hoping new regime uses them as the patriarch and matriarch even if they’re nice.

Johnny has been lying this whole time and never even did the deed. Is he the worst Dimera spawn of all time? Rachel acts like more of a Dimera than Johnny. Are we even sure Sami is his mom? We already have the nice Dimera I actually like in Tony and they never use him.

If he wasn’t poisoning DAYS as Leo this would be exciting but I guess small fortunes I didn’t have to watch both his characters I hate pollute 2/3 of the remaining shows I watch.

I haven’t posted much but I’m super excited for a new soap with a lot of people that look like me. I know audiences these days are so quick to drop stuff but I truly hope this is a success. The genre needs it and us fans deserve it.

I love Dr. Isaiah but today him being there for collapsed Sonny lost him points because I wanted Sonny to just die in that boxing ring alone 😂. Hopefully next time this repugnant mobster loser doesn’t get back up. No matter how many times hey try to paint him as a good guy. Drew truly sickens me. He’s known of Michael as his nephew for what over a decade and at one point had Jason’s memories and he doesn’t give a F.UCK cause he wants Willow. I need Michael and the Quartermaines to spill this tea immediately. Him acting like his nephew’s wife is his one true love is ridiculous. I don’t want him killed off because I love to hate him and this shows first instinct is to always feed someone to Sonny and Jason. The lighthearted romantic music in the Drew/Willow scenes is awful. I never want to hear Charlotte say papa again. Why the hell is every other word out of her mouth papa. This show can be so annoying sometimes. Anna tased Brennan and still ended the scene crying. Someone has to reel in Finola. It’s like she watched Jonathan Jackson’s last run and decided crying over a broken nail was the way to go for EVERY SCENE.

This Sofia/Tate storyline is so stupid. Sofia’s mom can’t force Tate to marry her daughter. It’s stupid to even pretend she has the power to do that.

I honestly always forget tbh when a classic is about to air.

So pissed they don’t post any of the classic episodes cause my DVR doesn’t record them 🤦🏽‍♂️

This is the same woman that hates Sharon so much she still only gets coffee at Sharon’s business 🙄

The only thing missing from that Phyllis/Sharon scene at her house was a good ol slap to the Giggly one who really had the nerve to barge into her house on Christmas Eve. The drinks with Traci/Ashley/Diane were perfect. You know I was getting my life from Ashley’s reactions 😂

Lol everytime I see Sonny, I’m reminded of characters and much more talented actors that have been thrown under the bus for this awful played out tyrant. I dislike Sonny about as much as I dislike Victor Newman, but Victor at least amuses me on occasion. Can’t wait for you to see Ric and Liz. She was so pleased to have him there. GIVE ME THE QUAD!

I wasn’t asking for fake Rafe back but I forgot how much more entertaining Galen is when he’s playing him. Shows me he could actually play a character I liked if the show wrote to his comedic strengths.

Today’s ending was quite good. I’ve enjoyed most of the holiday episodes in general.

They’re in an absolute realistic position now given all they’ve done to each other. I really like that.

Sonny having a heart attack all alone is like me getting one last Christmas present heading into the New Year. Plus Ric showing up to save Elizabeth 😭😭. Can the Cassadines really just take back a divorce settlement and give it to a minor?

I wonder if that partially lead to CD leaving. When he was being a vengeful Q, he seemed really engaged with the material.

I love Camille on the show typically but my god she was so unprepared for THIS Dorit. Dorit had the whole group shook. I hated her as a member of the loser Force 5, but she’s gunning for Kyle who has desperately needed a take down. That’s awesome to see the turn around for housewives is getting attention. Raquel is basically the only reason I watch nuNY now. Especially after spending the holidays watching the Christmas episodes from the OG’s, it’s going to be so hard to go back to this new cast.
