Tracy was handing Anita the business today and I was here for it! Martin and Smitty’s daughter looks like she’s related to the son’s love interest 😂 I really enjoy Martin and Smitty together now that the two actors are much more comfortable in their roles. Just wanted to add I love how Vernon is written and portrayed as opposed to the Victor Newmans, Kiriakis, and Stefano’s were written. It’s nice to see a patriarch that actually loves their family.

So I’m currently on May 7th. Should I just go ahead and skip to this week or last Friday? Though I do want to see Xander beat up Phillip. Maybe I should skip ahead and then go back. Thoughts daily watchers?

Today was so so good. Everyone has basically said all my thoughts but I did want to add: I was anxiously waiting for Tracy to find out about Gio and the show didn’t make us wait long at all. Jane Elliott was perfect today.

How many episodes do we have left with this fraud? I’m ready for her to go.

I’ve just about had it with Drew at this point so I’m happy Michael is back.

Holy [!@#$%^&*] just finished Friday’s episode. Despite my very public issues with this show, this week was everything I look for in soap opera. I fast forwarded all of the performances so I got nothing but soapy goodness. Honestly when GH wants to, they still pull off a Guza type event and this week was proof of that. I have to also shout out Ned getting some strong involvement, given Brook Lynn kept the secret from him, very happy about that. Maurice has to retire ASAP. Every other major player affected by this story, did such great work. He was embarrassingly bad like he barely knew where he was for some of his scenes. Giving him a job just because of his mental health has to stip when he’s actively ruining scenes. So happy Ned got a point of view most of the episode. Michael showing up with his new face and his son running up to him in front of everyone is just perfect and a great cliffhanger.

I would love to go to a clueless party. I was shocked by some of their reactions given most of them are millennials. Anything from the 90’s and early 2000’s is my [!@#$%^&*] as an 88 baby.

I’m not sure what any of this has to do with me saying the new guy has no commanding presence.

He has ZERO commanding presence.

I’m so excited to see Tracy’s reaction when she finds out Gio is the great grandson she was wanting Jason to find.

Is it bad that Lulu hasn’t bothered me at all in this storyline?

I’m actually enjoying Anita having a storyline that doesn’t revolve around her reminding us she’s a Dupree. Also I don’t see the issue with continuing to discuss a recast that just debuted last week and is entirely different from the previous actor.

Today was excellent soap. I had no problem with GM’s performance. I watch soaps for big dramatic blowups like that. What a great cliffhanger. God I’m so ready for all of Drew’s misdeeds to come out. He is so damn slimy. Also I hope absolutely no one is there for Willow’s dumb ass when this all blows up. As everyone has pointed out Tracy would never be stupid enough to just leave ketamine sitting in her car. PCPD continues to be complete morons.

I’m doing both as well. I have all of May to catch up on with Days but it’s been so enjoyable post RC I’m actually excited.

Very much so. In their one scene together they actually felt like equals. Bingo. He def feels like a supporting actor when he’s supposed to be the leading man in the A story. All of the women in the story actually have presence including both his daughters. I’m resigned to the fact that I’ll have to get used to him just being there, but I get zero excitement about the character of Ted appearing now and I’m not sure how they fix it with this current meek portrayal.

They’re actually quite believable as best friends, it makes Derek actually likeable.

I keep wondering where Ted’s balls went with this recast. They’re the same character in name only at this point.
