She moved to the East Coast, and she’s not needed unless Jay Kenneth Johnson is with her. #PhloePhorever

Kate needs to be fully written out. She should have been written out 15 years ago.

    Completely disagree on both.

I have never seen this. Very interesting. I bet Ronn could write a helluva memoir. Although he played Ridge as the ultimate himbo, in reality Ronn is really well spoken and seems both forthright and kind.

Krista and Lauren Koslow had the best chemistry.

Now that LK has been dropped to recurring at DAYS, I had momentarily hoped she might get to pop up on B&B and jazz up the Spencers...but seeing what Brad just did to Krista...no.

I trust Brad as much as I trust RC.

It's been a good season but I think after this episode, and what appears to be coming, that they're in need of a few cast changes.

Little Girl is trying to stir up problems wherever she can because she has nothing going on.

Monica is not someone I can get behind. She feels very dishonest. She's now posted on her socials that her mother had nothing to do with her family not seeing her in Bermuda. I feel like she went for the pity instantly to try and soften the cast up for what was to come with Heather. Monica somewhat revels in her 'honesty' about what a terrible person she is. Affair, criminal arrest, debts, lawsuits. She is not someone I would want to be around.

    BH

This is a very good season with a few false notes.

Dorit's time is up. She brings nothing to the show and her attempts at conflict fall flat. Crystal was very effective at shutting her down at the Sutton event by basically yawning.

Annemarie is insufferable. Please get her off the screen. Her comments about Sutton's esophagus problem being "medically not true" is actually ridiculous. A narrowing esophagus is a common problem. Many people struggle with swallowing or have an issue called achalasia. Also, her husband must be a real prize to say she's straight 8.5s. Like vile Kyle, she laughs at her own jokes. She is such a flop and clearly brought on to prop Kyle.

Crystal is dull and I don't see any storyline for her aside from arguing with Annemarie.

Erika continues to have a great season. She's way, way more likeable than she has been the last few years.

Sutton is a chaotic mess but I like her. She isn't being pushed around by anyone.

Garcelle is fabulous. Kyle tried to divide her and Sutton about the ring comment, but Garcelle owned it. I love her family scenes too.

The situation with Kye's friend is obviously a tragedy. However, I struggle to muster up sympathy for her because she had none for LVP when her own brother committed suicide and openly told them she was in trouble and needed space and peace. No, back then Kyle and her coven attacked LVP relentlessly. Now Kyle has an idea of what hell it feels like. She remains transparent with respect to her sisters...they will never be close or trust her.

Could not agree more on your thoughts on Annemarie and the Kyle suicide situation. They did not give a f.uck about what LVP was going through so I don’t care.

I, too, love the return of Mamie attempting to reunite her family, but I hate that she has had to work with Tucker to get where she's gotten and I'm afraid associating with Tucker is going come back and bite her in the ass at some point.

The Victor fake dementia thing was stupid and am I the only one who can't figure out how Nate came out the bad guy in all that lost his job?

They made it seem like Nate being proactive was him making a power play for he and Victoria.

  4. I figured this was the best place to ask this.

For you long term viewers all the way back to the 80’s, what exactly is so great about Victor Newman? Why are he and the performer behind the man seemingly never on the losing end? I’ve only watched Y&R for maybe 15 years or so and I’ve just never understood the characters appeal. He’s an ass.hole to just about everyone but seems to in particular get a kick out of doing it to his family. I just don’t get it.

Anyone watching the current season of M2M? I am hooked! Usually M2M is a slow burn in the early episodes, but they hit the ground running this season by jumping straight into the engagement of throwback Dr. Greg and his new fiancée.

Sweet Tea is not at all what I expected from a M2M cast member. Facially, she looks like she could be Toya's country cousin (Toya BTW seems like she's had a little face work done, but good work). Lateasha is proudly country and I like that. She's a little different from reality newbies on these shows -- first of all, spilling that she went after Greg in his DMs because she has an older-dude fetish. That one is going to bite her in the ass come reunion. Heavenly has already sized her up like a shark, but props to Lateasha for leaving her off the wedding guest list as payback. Heavenly has been crowing about how she got into the wedding anyway, but since she probably had to bribe an attendant to get that cameratime, I'd say its a hollow victory. While I'm not sure Sweet Tea is a GREAT cast member, I do think she adds an interesting dynamic. She's a fish out of water, she's not pretending that she's loaded, and she's just trying to fit in. She's not quite a pushover either, but there is a power imbalance between her and other cast members.

Quad was bragging some months ago about how Bravo reached out to come back and 'save' the show, but I'm not quite sure that's true. It's fun to see her trying to rile up the group, but she very much feels on the outside. I echo Toya's distrust of her and always have.

I'm not sure slippery Porsha fits. A lot of her shtick is so staged and contrived. I hope M2M doesn't tip too far in that direction. The other women seem to be clocking that and her shady background in a good-humoured way.

Curtis only showed up for the bachelor party? Sometimes I think he and Jackie are fully living separate lives.

M2M really is one of the best shows on Bravo IMO.

I'm watching and loving it. I agree this is the best Bravo show, outshining the Housewives for sure. I like how through all the comings and goings, you still have the core cast and in their 10th season, are still fun and interesting, the friendships are real, and it doesn't come off forced.

Yeah, Sweet Tea sure doesn't fit the mold, but she's kind of fun to watch in a trainwreck kind of way, what with her bridezilla antics, blowing up at her own sister, and just being a little clueless in general.

Also agree about Porsha. She's like a throwback to Housewives days gone by, when we actually believed her schtick was real and her quips weren't force-fed to her by producers to look witty and clever. I hope the likes of Heavenly, Simone and Jackie continue to side-eye her and call it out. M2M comes off as less edited, aside from the usual reality TV fare like Quad's perfectly producer-timed entrance to the bachelorette party.

Overall, I love the couple dynamics on this show, particularly Dr. Simone & Cecil, and Toya & Eugene.  And god bless Dr. Damon for being the yang to Dr. Heavenly's yin. LOL.

Sunday nights with M2M and Potomac is currently my favorite TV night.

Side Note:  Any tea as to why Dr. Contessa left the series? Was it her own choice?

I’m watching and just want to say I agree with basically everything. It’s been a great season already and Sweet Tea is such an odd addition that I’m just fascinated to see how she survives the whole season.

I was never a Contessa fan so she’s not missed for me. And I will never like Quad. Having both her and Phaedra is a lot of dramatics.

Yes but Nikki didn't fall off the wagon this time, she was pushed.
Jordan and Claire put an IV full of alcohol in Nikki's arm.  Literally, an IV.

I don't trust the show to write it well from here on; but it should take Nikki some effort to regain her sobriety after this trauma.

Yeah this time is totally different.

Agreed on all counts. Morgan is bizarre.

It took about 2 minutes of exposure for me to dislike new girl.

Kyle is such a hypocrite - always has been - but I'm glad Sutton came ready to play. I thought the eating disorder comment from Kyle was really ugly. Scratch beneath the surface with that one and she's a horrible person.

Kyle is always just one comment she doesn’t like from showing just how nasty and vile she truly is.

If we had a 👍 that is what I would give this post, because that is exactly my reaction.

I tuned in to see what the hype was about, after honestly not watching regularly since Traci and Brad's honeymoon.  But, I've read enough recaps to follow along, and honestly it wasn't that difficult.

However, when Nick become the smartest Newman?  They're all sitting around talking, just waiting for the poison to kick in, and he's the only one actively looking for an antidote.   I mean, Victoria's got other kids, she could wait to get Claire's exposition once they find the cure, but she's sitting on the sofa trying to have a family therapy session.

It was nutty to be sure.  Fun, a little dumb, with very melodramatic performances, and Nikki's vision were laughable.  But, I will give the writer credit that this one of the few kidnappings in the history of soaps to include a bathroom.  Poor Brad had to be constipated for a month when Lisa locked him in a cage.

I was SO shocked that there was finally a kidnapping victim that had a bathroom. On Days they lock you in a wine cellar for days on end without even a bucket to pee in and everyone still comes out looking and smelling fine 😂.

They really had Jordan reveal EVERYTHING after what two days? I know they think we can be impatient these days but this is truly warp speed.

CZ said she has really big scenes airing on December 26th... the way they have blown through everything I can't even imagine the story going on til the end of this week.

Especially with how they like to wrap up Newman antagonist’s stories. You’re usually dead pretty quickly once your evil is known.

  10. Ahh so Aunt Jordan is Eve’s sister. The classic from Wednesday makes sense now!  Loved the 80’s flashback. Claire is Victorias dayghter?!

Please just let Sally and Adam get back together and be happy for a while. Make them a team again.

I’m glad the Audra and Nate friendship has been remembered. She really is all over the canvas and it works, I love her. Lord she’s going to drag Nate back to the dark side just as he makes up with his family.

  11. Watching today’s classic I was just amazed at how full the place Ryan and Nina had dinner at was with extras.

Nicholas being a child in 1993 but now a 50 year old man is hilarious.

It’s amazing how great the production values were back then.

Has it ever been explained the aversion to using music more like the kind in the 90’s. It doesn’t sound dated, it actually sounds dramatic.

I didn't see this elsewhere, but I am really sad to hear this. She has been a favourite of mine for decades and always made whatever nonsensical writing they threw at her work.

I knew if anyone on this board would feel the same as me, it was you. LK has never phoned it in a day on the show, you can find things for Kate to do. Like first off, release Lucas from prison. For some reason Lani and Lucas are the only two nice characters that have actually had to stay in prison for an extended stay and it’s dumb when you see who is walking around free in Salem 🙄. Lucas gets out, Kate instantly has something to do.

I don't understand how Clyde has any leverage?

First, Stefan is the CEO of a multinational corporation.  He could either go to the warden with Clyde's threats, or use his media empire to expose the corruption of the prison.  Stefano would never cower to this thug.  So, why is Stefan acting like a little punk? The Dimeras pay off judges all the time.  You can't tell me that Stefan is powerless to free Gabi without running drugs, and still try to get me to believe that being the CEO at DI is that prestigious.

Second, the last time Clyde was on parole he had no money.  So, how is he funding a drug ring, an international kidnapping plot, and the managerial staff at The Bistro?

Finally, did I miss it or did Stefon go to the prison and not visit Gabi?

It’s like they totally forgot that Clyde was broke when he was dating Nancy. Now he’s a mob boss? How is he paying anybody? When did he get back on his feet in prison?

The Abe/Nicole scenes were the highlight of the day for me. Such a great history laden relationship and James and Ari have such an easy familiar chemistry with each other.
