AOC was pretty good as a judge. You could tell she loved the show (before she said it explicitly backstage on Untucked). I thought Jan was great, but Gigi deserved that win. Glad to see Brita finally gone.

Certainly they were preferable to the gangsters, murderers, and abusers who invaded the show in the late ‘90s, but one thing that annoyed me about Labine-era GH were the sanctimonious, stuffy, condescending men usually tasked with taming a free-spirited woman (Mac, Ned, Kevin). I just watched the FOTH theme in the thread about soap openings, and it brought all that back.

And Eric Braeden was great in those scenes with Nikki and Douglas Austin. The dude is very talented, and it’s so easy to forget that given what we’ve seen in recent years (with rare exceptions).

So many egregious failures of leadership during this crisis... I’ve been reading about this and, yeah, wow.

The Talk is a MESS with its Skype remotes. It just looks so low-budget.

Indeed. They’ve not cut in yet. This show just had so much depth (literally and figuratively) and atmosphere. I would be embarrassed to run the current show after this.

It’s on now thankfully so taking a break to watch. Will go back to work when the NJ press conference breaks in and hope to find some place else to watch the rest of the episode. KSJ was so freakin’ hot. He got overshadowed by Shemar.

Yeah, Heather Tom and Brenda Epperson. Clearly they are not averse to showing previous actors in current roles. So nice to see Victoria Rowell so young and carefree. And KSJ with his furry torso... Peter Bergman is no Terry Lester, but he was so nice to look at...
