Lawd Cilic was a blubbering hot mess! He had a total meltdown! I thought I was watching Mardy Fish. I really wonder if Murray will play the US Open. ESPN is pretty much saying Joker is out at the US Open. With the win Roger is at #3 with Nadal at #2 with Joker at #4 and Stan at #5 with all those points to defend at the US Open. Should be an interesting summer hard court season and US Open.

I saw most of the first set and thought Venus was playing well but DVR the rest. What happened to her in the 2nd set? This was her best chance to win a major. One writer pretty much said she isn't winning another major. I tend to agree. She should retire this year after the US Open. I mean what a way to go with two final appearances at majors. Venus just can't win 7 matches anymore. It is too much for her.

The race to #1 is more exciting on the men's side than the woman's. Murray will hold on to it and hasn't won a major this year....LOL....Nadal will stay #2 and depending on what Roger does....#3 to #5 is still up in the air. With the loss Milos drops to #9 in the rankings behind Thiem and Kei and barely ahead of Sasha and Grigor who are tied at #10.

I am glad she lost. That's what she gets for getting rid of Craig and hiring Pat Cash. I was hoping she'd win too. I can't stand Konta or her boring game. Is it a British thing to be a boring tennis player..ie Murray and Konta? She better win the whole thing! I don't want a Konta win or we will never hear the end of it.

I was worried about this match. I use to be a fan of Berdych but he let me down too many times. I had a feeling he'd play well against Thiem. He served better than I have ever seen and had some lapses but stayed focus. But it still took him 5 sets to beat Thiem and Dominic wasn't even playing that well. Had Thiem played 5% better ....he would have won the match. The tiebreaker is a prime example of that. Thiem upped his game blew past him in that 2nd set tie breaker. This was Thiem's best showing at Wimbledon but I am still surprised he hasn't done better since he won a grass court tournament last year and beat Roger too. I don't see Berdych at all having a chance against Novak even though he has been playing like dirt this year. Berdych will return to his double faulting, missing shots and losing focus mode against Novak....Just watch! I was so disappointed in Sasha. He had that match won against Milos and totally blew it in the 2nd and 4th sets which he was up a break in both. Then in the 5th set he completely ran out of gas. Such a shame. I am hoping Roger beats Milos. I want Milos to lose and drop in the rankings. I can't stand Milos. As for Roger....blah...was hoping Dimitrov would have beaten him. Grigor is the most disappointing one today out of them all. He can't beat Roger or even come close to. I am coming to believe like some that Grigor is overrated. He needs more stick(power) on his serve and more hunger in him to win. I thought he would win a major one day but I don't see it anymore. Murray....what a boring player he is and #1. I had to go livestreaming to watch the matches. I wish I had Direct TV again because they showcased 6 matches on different channels. I am hoping to get it again in time for the US Open because the ESPN coverage is just awful. It was doomsday when they got the rights to all the majors besides the French Open.

ESPN coverage of Wimbledon sucks! They have wasted over an hour of yapping about nothing instead of showing live matches.

Harrison nor Isner haven't accomplished anything. TC tries to pimp Isner with Brett Haber having the nerve to say that John had been in the top 20 for so many years. I had to LOL at that statement. All my favorites won today minus Rublev. He should have won too ....up 2 sets to 1. Gawd today was great day for me! John Isner gone! Ryan Harrison gone! Jack Sock gone! Interesting that the player that beat him is being coached by Dominic Thiem's dad. And Isner went on and on about how bad he played on his press conference. I guess his bf Justin couldn't help me out since he was coaching him at Wimbledon. Oh and Juan Martin lost too.....he should have gotten back up there in the game. He hasn't done squat.
