Are you referring to Rose? I couldn't stand Rose. I was not a fan of hers. Scott Hoylrod was my second favorite Paul behind Andrew Kavovit. Brian Bloom is and was the only Dusty to me. McCouch was just awful as Dusty. I remember at first they tried to make McCouch an older version of Brian's version of Dusty and it didn't work. They quickly changed his personality instead of recasting with a better actor that would fill the role since BB didn't want to return. As for Howarth….he is one awful actor who's ego was sent to the hills with all the praise he got for playing a scum bag of a person. His role as Franco is just laughable and pure garbage.

Really?? Noah had no edge at all. He was Luke's beyotch…LOL. I thought Reid was perfect for Luke. He didn't take any sh!t from him especially at the beginning of them meeting. I wish their story would've had more time to develop. It is probably the only story I wanted to continue watching after ATWT cancellation.

Honestly, if all Luke was ever going to get to do is jump on beds and get ice cream afterward, they shouldn't have bothered recasting the role. I thought Jake Weary was a better Luke by far anyway. Jake Weary would have been great playing coming out and post coming out. I don't know how much truth if all was him leaving because Luke was going to come out. That KZ didn't want him playing that kind of role. Ugh. I loathed how Craig and Rosanna were sacrificed for Paul and Meg. Add Emily to that too. Never have a seen a pairing (except for Collard Greens/Ryan on AMC) be shoved down our throats even though most of the audience stayed expressing their detest for them. All of these characters were vets and written so horribly. They were totally rewritten to suit the storyline. Thats what really frustrated me about the last years of ATWT plus all the newbies that hogged up the screen. I loved his direction on AMC and also on ATWT when he wasn't EP….I think FMB was EP at the time. I don't remember if he had directed ATWT before he joined full time.

Hansis had no right to throw shade at anyone. I guess I understand "checking out" in stories you dislike (and you can see most actors do it at some point), but so much of early Nuke made Luke look like this jealous, controlling little bitch. Specifically what I remember is that Luke basically told people Noah was gay, instead of y'know, letting the guy accept it in his own time, 'cause Luke had a raging hard on for the guy. UGH---if they had portrayed a hetero couple that way, people would have been outraged. He said something like he was glad ESS was really into the material and how that rejuvenated his acting again since he hadn't had much lately to inspire him…

Paul and Meg were lying skanks, and short of that child dying, they earned their pain Craig and Ro put them through. And ironically, I was practically begging Carly to have scenes with him---and of course, they barely had any. How long was Scotty back? A year? Maura was probably on maternity leave at some point. It was a breath of fresh of air when Scott Bryce returned. Fans started pulling for Craig instead of what Goutman wanted. Then Goutman blamed Scott for that. He was playing Craig wrong. That was laughable! I am surprised he didn't pair Scott's Craig with Carly considering how badly he kept Carly and Jack apart.

He did some directing afterwards but hasn't been seen since….thank goodness! I didn't mind him as a director as I thought he was decent but he should've never been allowed to be EP. Same with his protege, Ellen Wheeler too. They were both detrimental to ATWT & GL. Sucks seeing as both of them got their starts on P&G soaps. You'd think they'd've known the do's and don'ts of soaps. I thought Chris and Ellen were great directors but they should have never never been promoted to EPs.

Was it his puppy eyes that got to you?…LOL I was a big fan of theirs but the stories they had just made them poison together. I really wish Kevin was denying his feelings for Luke. It would have been interesting had he realized that after Luke met Reid. No. It wasn't his eyes. I think it was just that I loved the pairing despite their sh-tty stories. Had they been in a capable writer's hands and under a company that wasn't so damn conservative, they could've been even larger than what they were. What frustrated me was how much they kept trying to make Noah straight. Either Maddie or Ameera, it was frustrating. I didn't mind Col. Mayer as he was the perfect obstacle for them but the stories were stupid. I would've preferred for Kevin to realize he had feelings for Luke post him getting out of jail. All this reminiscing of ATWT in its last years pisses me off. I hate how they wrote many of the younger characters towards the end. Whether it was Luke, Noah, Maddie, Will, Allison, Casey.... I still hate how they turned Adam into a rapist. That sh-t bothered me to no end. Well we've got Jean Passanante and Chris Goutman to blame for all the mess. When Goutman fired Martha and Scott Bryce there was no doubt Chris ever cared about ATWT or its core audience it had for many years. When you have CG telling SB he doesn't like the way he is playing Craig so he is letting him go?? Then something is truly wrong here. SB originated the role…who else would know whats going through Craig's heart and mind?

Fernando is played by Juan Pablo Di Pace. He was on the Dallas reboot. And yes he is very very caliente….teehee.

Holden thought Lily was this rich girl full of herself and isn't that how Reid felt about Luke….LOL. Since Luke=Lily…his love life should have been the same. That's why I wanted his character in a relationship with a guy Lucinda did not approve of that's why I suggested someone related to Babs. Someone that the family didn't approve of.

If you read most of the things about him…it looks like he didn't……I would have gone for a Noah and Maddie pairing. It would have sent Luke fuming. And they could have made Noah bi. At times I thought they were leaning that way but they never really did. Again they were headed that way but the story needed more time for that to happen. By then wasn't ATWT already cancelled or the news of its cancellation close to being announced? Too bad Babs didn't have another offspring that was male. Having him fall for Luke would have brought fireworks between Babs and Lucinda……I missed the rivalry between the two ladies.

Yeah I wanted either Kevin or Reid too. I don't think JS cared for the role. I read not sure if true but he didn't like playing Noah.

Later on they could have brought in Reid where Luke got the wondering eye and felt neglected by Kevin and he cheated on him. I am sure Kevin wouldn't have put up with it. Instead we got stuck with Luke and Noah jumping up and down in a bed…..Noah's wacko dad…..Noah and that awful marriage crap….ugh... Ha…..and he ended up alone in the finale. Reid was the best thing ATWT had going at the end. The show was just horrendous. Still after all the mess Jean P. still works…how sad…at least Goutman isn't anywhere near a soap.

Considering he was the only other gay guy who would you have chosen?….It had to be someone in the canvas….but I could see Reid as single for the rest of his life and just dating on occasion. LOLOLOLOL….PJ…..just LOL ….and then they rehire Scott Bryce and give him the same awful material and fans love Craig…and Goutman was so upset that he fired him. Luke was fine during his coming out and after his time with Noah. He and Noah were a disaster. Luke Snyder became Will Horton at that time….the version where he was more in love with himself than his bf…..LOL. And as the new recast did with Will so did Van…..his acting got worse/bad. When Reid appeared Luke became less annoying and Hansis didn't ham it up as much…..LOL. Didn't Van say he was happy to work with an actor was actually into his material…LOL….throwing shade at the actor who played Noah? I hated the whole Olivia/Natalia story because it came out of nowhere and CC was just horrendous during that story….she was just horrible.

Monfils should have lost to Dimitrov. Monfils handed him the 3rd set at the beginning only for Grigor to mess it up. I couldn't believe the slow paced serves Grigor was giving Monfils. He wasn't even trying to ace him? I don't know whats going on in his head but it sure isn't winning tennis matches. He only beat Andy because Murray was playing worse than him that day. Kei….eh…..I had high hopes for him when he made the finals in the US Open…now I have none….he is Chang all over again…he might win a major one day but wouldn't be surprised if he ever did. Kei was on fire 2 years ago and now he is just limping into matches. I hope its Theim that comes through and dethrones the supposed big 4 that ESPN wants us to believe. I don't see the rest in the top 20 dethroning them. Milos is so overrated…when he gets to the finals he goes out with a whimper and uses injury as an excuse for the loss…..Murray at Australian Open and last week against Novak.

Who is Gautman? I believe it was Molly who was playing poker with them…I remember those scenes. Henry got really flustered once Mike's shirt came off. Who could blame him. He made some excuse about how he couldn't play anymore. And we see Mike chuckling knowing he had flustered Henry. I thought it was cute too. They should have made Henry and Luke sidekicks….in search of men…..teehee…instead they had him wasting his time with Katie and Babs. Ah thats right….!!

Yeah, Gunnar was the real Stenbeck and James wasn't….and Dusty was his son. Funny how Dusty looked nothing like Gunnar or his mother. The real chemistry was between him and Mike...you could see Henry turn into mush when Mike walked in..not that I blame him. I think Mike knew it too. Wasn't there a scene where Mike was taking off his shirt and Henry walked in and got all flustered?? Considering the bad luck Mike had with the women they should've had him flirting with Henry. It could have easily been told that Mike was bi and had relationships with guys in the past.

During that time the ratings went from a 8.2 under Marland to a 7.4. Thats all most a whole ratings point lost….yikes. I loved Marland's GL….after he left the show slowly became way too campy and not serious enough of a soap like ATWT. I can see why GL's Marland beat ATWT during 1980-82.

I find it interesting that GL fell in the ratings after Marland left. GL was #4 in the rankings during Marland's whole run and dropped to #6 once he left.
