  2. I just saw Sin City. I didn't have high expectations for it since I find 300 absolutely overrated (it's beautiful cinematographically but story-wise...boooorrring!) but I LOVED Sin City! Great visual direction, great acting, and all-around great storytelling.

  3. On the plane ride home yesterday, I saw this French Canadian flick "La Peau Blanche" ("White Skin"). Afterwards, I didn't know whether I liked it or not. It's semi-horror but more on the disturbing rather than the ahh scary side. It's about this guy who falls in love with this girl who has really pale skin. I won't spill about what the movie's all about but all I gotta say is: gotta love those weird "foreign" films.

    I also saw half of "L'Audition" ("The Audition") before the end of the flight and the lead actor reminds me a lot of a French version of Al Pacino. :lol:
