  1. I love this song too. If it weren't for Brothers&Sisters I probably never would have discovered it... Question: Is this ROCKFERRY album by DUFFY any good? I have a love and hate relation to her single "Mercy" but right now it's addictive to me and love status. So is the album worth buying?
  2. Yeah, Jamie Luner rocked. She got to play the new tramp in town - succeding to Miss Hot Lips, Lisa Rinna - and boy, she did. MP was ultra trashy but just so delicious. I discovered it much too late - for being a La Locklear groupie at least - and still miss it. My favorite MP: Taylor forcing Michael to impregnate her. Both times. Or was it more often? This was one of the most campy side-stories MP ever told - and they had a lot. LOL As for SatC: Well put: Darren's episodes were so blah compared with everything that followed. I was looking forward to the movie but the first preview kinda blew it. Hopefully the film is much better than those 45 seconds...
  3. Flamingo Road A true camp classic from 1981 starring Morgan Fairchild as a rich resident bitch down in Florida and youuuuuung Mark Harmon as her hubby who's soon looking for greener pastures. Also starring David Selby, Howard Duff and John Beck.
  4. The Life of Others The Oscar winner for 'Foreign Language Film' - and it so deserves it. The movie was fantastic; thrilling, moving, brilliantly acted, wonderfully old-fashioned. Check it out if you get the chance...
  5. This film was indeed great. Loved it. Recently saw "Cold Mountain" which after a very lackluster start got me too. (Director Anthony Minghella always does) Rene Zellweger was fabulous and made the flick unique with her hearty and powerful performance.
  6. Perfume: The Story of a Murderer Probably no one has ever heard of it, so that it's my honor to introduce it. Although due to some nakedness this film is unlikely to find it's way to US theatres, according to IMDB.com it does have a release on December 27 - thanks to Dreamworks. If you do not want to wait, you know where to go on the web... So what am I bubbling about? An excellent film after a bestselling German novel of the same name. Forget Ron Howard's fucked-up DaVinci-Code and get ready for a real adaptation (take a look Mr. Howard) of a fascinating book. Great script, great directing, great music, brilliant cast - the most expensive European film ever. http://film.virgin.net/player/play.asp?url...gin&sec=trl Unfortunately I couldn't find a better trailer right now but the film is worth watching - even for the let's say bizarre ending.
  7. Caught some movies recnetly... "Spy Game" - Great CIA scheming scenes (Larry Briggman from ATWT!? I had no idea he starred in the movies?) but too many flashbacks. Actually all the action were flashbacks. Hated this and therefore couldn't completely enjoy the flick. Not too bad though. "Murder By Numbers": Now, that was a good film. Just two devilish student plotting a perfect murder. Was nice to see Agnes Bruckner (Ex-Bridget B& in her first big movie role but Sandy Bullock was slightly off. I didn't like her att all in this movie.
