  1. I agree. It's absolutely awful. I started tracking, because in my head it felt as if we weren't getting many sets per day. The results prove that the truth is even worse than I thought.
  2. I reported the set usage last week, so I thought I'd keep it up for the month of September.Here's the set usage for this week: Mon., 9/8: Crimson Lights / Billy's place / Society / Victor's office -- 4 sets Tues., 9/9: Crimson Lights / Park set 1 / Park set 2 -- 3 sets Wed., 9/10: Crimson Lights / The Abbotts / Society / Park set 1 -- 4 sets Thurs., 9/11: Crimson Lights / Society / The Abbotts / Billy's place -- 4 sets Fri., 9/12: Park set 1 / Society / Victor's office / Adam's office / Cane's Train / Billy's -- 6 sets For the week: 4 days -- Crimson Lights / Society 3 days -- Chancellor Park / Billy's place 2 days -- The Abbotts / Victor's office 1 day -- Cane's Train / Adam's office In TWO FULL WEEKS, only 9 total sets have been used. NINE. Only 8 were used this week. Here's The running total for 2 weeks: 8 days -- Crimson Lights / Society 6 days -- Park 5 days -- The Abbotts 4 days -- Billy's place 3 days -- Victor's office 2 days -- Cane's Train / Adam's office / The Newmans
  3. -- It's almost comical that Tomas is in situations (first with Eva, now with Hayley) that could cost him his partnership with Bill's law firm. Is he that dumb and clueless? -- Hayley is such a child. Having a friend like Caroline who leads her into mess (and then says "You really don't have to do it") doesn't help. -- I really don't want to see Vanessa and Joey banging on that Cracker Barrel casino room poker table again. I want to gag every time she moves to take off his shirt. -- I know most people here think Doug will be killed off before long, but I'd rather see Doug take out Joey. -- Derek should be out of the hospital by now. Garland must be known for keeping patients long past when any other hospital would send them home. -- Madison's "check up" of Derek's paralysis was LOL material. And what's with the PT bing done from his hospital bed? -- Giving Derek and Ashley dialogue that makes them again seem like a couple who never had problems is a choice. They're as boring as ever.
  4. DAYS has been better, but the Babies Rabies is too much.
  5. I agree with you -- she's been awful. But 😂. Didn't you just (indirectly) respond to me when I criticized Crew Morrow's acting, saying you don't GAF and implying that some of us overdo the criticism? Since then, you've bashed the acting of at least 2 people. Glad to see you've come around!
  6. Marrying Brooke and Ridge the day after he breaks his engagement to Taylor? Feels like I'm watching Soapdish or an old Carol Burnett sketch of "As The Stomach Turns." 😂 And in the office? Soooooo romantic. 🤣 Taylor waited weeks and months for Ridge to marry her, but she couldn't compete with Brooke's heavenly and powerful vagina.
  7. Not trying to be difficult, but how do you measure if someone is "trying"? Someone who can't act won't change a damn thing in my life, but I'm going to mention it when I see it. I'm not hung up on it. I've criticized Crew Morrow in the past week. His facial expressions have been awful, and that's a part of acting. The director/production deserve some blame there. CM is new and I'm again wondering if these newbies are given ANY notes or help. Would I replace Crew Morrow? No.
  8. Them lips. Them eyes. I'm down.
  9. Electra is an awful character, and the actress brings nothing to the part except that she's cute. I do not care if Luna causes problems with Will and Electra. I DO. NOT. CARE.
  10. Tis kind of casting/storyline should be celebrated, but since it's B&B we're talking about, all this side-eye and questioning is deserved. The actor is gorgeous, but this is all wait-and-see for me.
  11. -- This show certainly can make you side with and even sympathize with a character one day, and then reject that character the next. -- The Smitty/Martin kiss was great. These actors know how to make a kiss look real. That will never make Smitty's "You're still on the couch" the right thing to say. -- The time to have that "I still don't trust you" talk along with the "You're still sleeping on the sofa" was BEFORE the sex, not after. Smitty was completely wrong. Anyone in Martin's shoes would have expected to be back in that bedroom. -- THE DUPREES are beyond saintly, sanctimonious, and self-righteous. Anita remarked that it was having a little fun? What??? Meanwhile, Bill makes jokes and insults and they smile at him. It's all nuts. -- Ted only started to beg for a thank you after what he did was ignored. He not only got no credit, but was treated like he was transactional -- and he wasn't. He never thought that was the magic repair for his marriage. -- Betting on Nicole or Ted was obnoxious and disgusting. -- #TeamTed -- Why was Allison chained to that chair in the police station for so long? So we'd get absurd scenes of THE DUPREES yelling at her and threatening to attack her. I'm ready to become #TeamAllison. -- Who in their right mind would allow Chelsea to get near Allison? -- Chelsea's discussion about social media with Madison and Dani sounded like the writers asked Chat GTP to script a PSA about stalking on Instagram. The storyline itself explains the problem today. Too much exposition is eye-rolling stuff. -- They need to pick a lane for Chelsea. Either she struggles mightily with her role in this and with the Allison problem or she blames Allison. Instead they have her all over the place. If she'd been held hostage for weeks and months, I'd buy into Chelsea being all over the place, but not with this one-day kidnapping. -- Kind of hilarious to see Derek in that hospital bed dressed like Himbo of the Week.
  12. -- Today's episode was good, and yes, it did feel like a soap opera. -- The song used at the end of the episode was really good, fitting the video montage really well. Y&R should take note about how to use original songs in a scene. -- I have to give Susan Seaforth Hayes a pass for that "acting" at the end of the show. It's soap acting that's pure melodrama with operatic flourishes, right out of the 1950s. 😂
  13. Crew Morrow's facial expressions have been something else for days, and his acting today was beyond awful. On the other hand, I admit I'm loving the haircut and the fit he's wearing. I understand those who think he's should get more jacked, but damn, he works that twunk look to perfection.
  14. LMAOOOOOOO I was typing like a madman, I guess. I'll edit it. Thanks for the heads up.
  15. -- I'm fine with the level of Allison's craziness, but Chelsea is over-the-top to me. One minute she's stumbling and near catatonic, and the next minute she's screaming. Honey, you were kidnapped for a day. (Okay, a day+). -- Telling Allison that she's in her (Chelsea's) thoughts every minute and every second of the day is pretty dumb. -- Brianna Roberts has been very good as Allison. RhonniRose Mantilla? Not as much. -- I hope to God they don't write Tomas as so stupid that he represents Leslie in any lawsuit. Talk about career suicide. -- Eva is losing me. Yeah, I know all about the trauma bonding blah blah blah. She can love her mother and not enable her. -- Leslie is going to offer double for the house across the street from the Duprees. We know she got one check for $1M. How is that enough to buy a mansion, furnish it, pay the bills, etc.? Would her bank account be sufficient for that kind of loan? I doubt it. -- Dani had me howling when she ranted about what a psychopath Allison is. Didn't we all see her waving a loaded gun at Bill's wedding and then firing it? -- I despise the way the Duprees are treating Ted. When he did nothing, he was wrong and was continually called out for doing nothing. Now he's done something huge and Nicole ends up treating him like dung on the bottom of her shoe. Of course, Anita and Dani join in to ice Ted out. These are the same people who now treat Ted like a loving family member and resident puppy dog. Make it make sense. Dani would take Ted back in a New York minute and these saintly Duprees would throw them a Reunited And It Feels So Good party.
  16. Nick explaining to Phyllis how Cane plans to take over every company in Genoa City is just ridiculous. Don't these companies have teams of lawyers? Aren't there laws to be followed? It's all so poorly written. Phyllis is supposed to be this master hacker, but we never see her in front of an iPad, let alone in an office with a bank of computers.
  17. @Maxim and @I Am A Swede have said it all. This is a disaster. Brad Bell needs a literal intervention, but we know that won't happen. There can't be any actors on B&B who are happy with any of this. In addition to Budig, Lang, and Kaye, Heather Tom must be -- or should be -- sick to her stomach. Katie has no love life of her own but spends her days pining about Brooke's and Ridge's destiny. Appalling. It's all so embarrassing.
  18. It all sounds so good and so interesting on paper. Then you realize Josh Griffith is still head writer, and that give everything the side-eye. Hearing that Griffith is so excited and filled with happiness about the state of the show says it all.
  19. How can you not love the symbolism here?!?
  20. -- I think the kidnapping should have run for at least another day or two. She was held hostage for ONE DAY and they're all acting like it was 3 months. -- Hayley's desperation is embarrassing. -- Ted showed FIRE today and I loved it. -- Can't Leslie just put in another bid for the house across the street from the Duprees? I don't think what Ted did should keep her out of The Gates. -- Leslie's tears with her "I...am...somebody" left me rolling my eyes. She lets the Duprees -- people she despises -- decide who she is as a person and if she's somebody? -- Eva can miss me with her anger towards Ted. She showed more hostility towards him than she's ever shown towards her evil mother who's literally tried to physically hurt people and who's tried to completely wreck others' lives. -- I can't root for Eva when she acts like this.
  21. Almost all of this sounds wash/rinse/repeat. None of it sounds exciting. And that Danny/Cricket wedding? I'm sure they'll rent out tired Society and decorate with some white rose bouquets. It's hilarious that Society is turning into a rental hall.
  22. Thorsten Kaye is not a draw for BTG, and I can't think of a character I want to see less. It'll have as much impact on story as Devon did: NONE. The show continued to run promos of Bryton's appearance even after it was over, which made no sense. I don't know why they flew him to Georgia for that. It would make more sense to send a young designer to meet with ChelseaKat, or have a designer -- again, YOUNG -- meet with Dani over some modeling gig.
