  1. They're both awful choices, so I can't choose either. Another recast needs to be done.
  2. Have to agree. I'm no Darin Brooks fan, either. In most of his scenes, he's one step away from LOL. I can't defend Scott Clifton's overacting, and I think it's more noticeable because he's done such good work in the past. Now? He must know the scripts are total crap, so he tries -- way too hard -- to make tehm work. He might be better off phoning it in.
  3. All so true. In just 2 paragraphs, you said all that needs to be said about Sheila -- and why that character should be GONE, along with Kimberlin Brown's eye squints that she calls acting. The Liam/Wyatt conversations are awful on every level. Darin Brooks is not just a talk-to, but an embarrassing talk-to. If he ever knew how to act, I've forgotten it, and he brings out the worst (acting, faces, body movements) in Scott Clifton. BOLD loves these "Bro Talks," but they are horrific.
  4. Red, White and Royal Blue (on Prime) is a great gay rom-com, and anyone not giving it a watch is really missing out. The story is good, and both leads are eye candy. KKL's son Jeremy Skott Snider bottomed in a Sean Cody scene in 2011.
  5. Imagine what a great story it would be if RJ was thrown into a gay story like we see in "Red, White and Royal Blue." Daytime soaps are unwilling to take ANY chances.
  6. -- Now that Tripp and Wendy have screwed, there's nothing left for them. There's zero conflict, zero story. -- Johnny definitely needs to be a bad boy again. It's insane that someone as hot as Carson Boatman is always a third wheel or someone who isn't chosen. -- I still can't, and will never believe, that Talia is a doctor. -- The Ava/Harris escape was ridiculous. Even though the budget is non-existent, DAYS should be able to do better than this. It's actually embarrassing. The actors were shot in close-up so we couldn't really envision the scene, and we were cheated out of seeing anything when Harris held the gun on security and 5 seconds later they were in front of a plastic green wall.
  7. Nicole has THE worst hair on daytime. No one else is close.
  8. Same here. I don't know why I watched. The Sheila stuff is beyond repetitive, and I have no idea what Deacon sees in her as a person or as an object of physical desire. BOLD feels like it's written by AI that's generated in a system engineered by tech failures. I will say that RJ was looking like a snack today in that tight black t-shirt. I liked his hair, too.
  9. All good questions. DAYS doesn't have enough money to have things make sense.
  10. I honestly don't know what to say when someone says Ronn Moss and Tanner Novlan are a close race in the acting department. RM was always laughable, while TN is a solid actor. A diss like "I wouldn’t bet on any Oscar worthy stuff" seems pretty unfair since soaps are hardly the place to expect any of that. Speaking of Ronn Moss, the debate here is borderline hilarious. I had no idea that Ronn Moss posts could be so long and detailed, and filled with so much outrage. LOL
  11. You’re not even a fan of Ronn Moss? LOL Could have fooled me. I thought you were drooling for him. That’s nice that you love and respect him so much. I’ll always remember those ascots he wore giving better performances than he did.
  12. Ronn Moss is a TERRIBLE actor — one of the worst I’ve ever seen. He was a walking trainwreck, and it’s laughable to call him good.
  13. Not trolling, my friend. Just giving my opinion.
  14. But it's been YEARS since it was possible to kill a story because of negative fan reaction. DAYS has had this ridiculous taping schedule for a long, long time. They clearly do not care about fan reaction.
  15. I think Paul Lynde and Rip Taylor were incredibly funny -- and that they weren't used as main characters in relationships on a soap. They knew their strengths and played to them. I can choose other GLBTQ+ characters to choose from? Uh...I don't know what to say to that. I don't see ANY of those characters being used properly/correctly. They're all problematic. Alienating that a gay writer isn't sensitive to the concerns of gay fans? You think??? And I'll argue to the death that this writing does not play to that 18-34F demo. If they want gay stories, they don't want them done like this.
  16. I hope this means they've given the role of Nicholas to Adam Huss. He deserves it. Respectfully, I don't know why any of this matters.
  17. OK, but Ron has Zach Tinker -- a straight guy -- playing Sonny. I'll be honest. I've had it with DAYS and their paternity secrets. They're all over the place, and it's all ridiculous. I know JPL has plenty of detractors, including those who don't think he's good looking. Different strokes, I guess. I lusted after him during his OLTL days, and I still think he's fine af. Rough for his age? He is 43, and always tracked a little older than his real age. Plus you have to consider that this plot doesn't bring back a guy who's supposed to have been at a spa. I appreciate it that JPL hasn't wrecked his face with fillers and Botox.
  18. Great to have Sonny back. I wish Zach Tinker was on contract. Unfortunately, we had to SUFFER through those Leo scenes where all the gay writers (and heteros who think they know gays) get to include their zingers that would have been tired in the '80s. Leo is a cartoon, not a character -- and a lousy cartoon at that. And how awful is it to wreck Peter Porte's Dimitri to serve the Leo character? Just really hard to believe. Someone like Dimitri should refuse to become this enamored and ridiculous for the hottest guy in the universe, let alone for LEO. I admit I was looking for that the minute I saw JPL on the screen. I know that's still there -- JPL is never going to be a great or even good actor -- but he was better than I expected. I'll give him a chance on this return. I always thought he was really good looking, and he still looks good...much better than on his last stint when he seemed to be too made up, like some minor character in a Fire Island movie.
  19. I'll join your Irrational Club. Gladys has to go, but like every villain hired by Frank Valentini, she's stayed WAY too long -- while they write her to make us hate her even more. As you said, there is NOTHING redeemable about her.
  20. Eric is so out of it that he doesn't know computer programs are used in design??? Jesus, this show.
  21. The size of GH's cast is pretty hilarious!
  22. You're not. I actually think he's better in the role. -- "Nicole new hair" should go back to Nicole old hair. -- The pregnancy belly on Sarah is so bad. DAYS can't even get that right. It might help a bit if they added a little to Linsey Godfrey's bust or didn't put her in outfits that make her look as flat as a pancake. -- Too, too many lies on this show about pregnancies and who the baby daddy is. It's a tired soap cliche but on steroids. What it's done is make me angry with all the women who are lying.
