  1. The fact that some the WGA's issues the AMPTP just rejected flat out and others offered no compromise makes no sense. Hopefully enough shows stall prod and AMPTP decides to bring solid offers to the table.
  2. I dont think his character was part of the LGBTQ Community
  3. Peter on Joining Days: “I thought that that was the end [He's talking Beyond Salem 1]. That was fun. See you later and then suddenly I got that call in October of last year, and they said, ‘Would you like to come back?’ I thought, I'll come back and do a couple of episodes and then a week later I received a contract for an extended period of time.” He shared that he’s still shooting at Days and by the time his first episode airs he will have already shot over 40 episodes. “It's so nice to be back on daytime. I've missed you all. I'm so excited for you to see what happens with this character because the journey that I've been on with him, it's been so surprising.” https://www.soapoperanews.net/2023/05/peter-porte-talks-his-return-to-days-of.html
  4. Sarah Brown could have been a good Marty Sayebrooke But That will always be Susan's role and then FV had to ruin it when writing her out in 2011. When PP brought back the soaps and TK was promoting AMC he said he feels Susan would go back to OLTL now alluding because FV was no longer there.
  5. Just gonna say this: I'd love for GH to hire Marci Miller as Lulu. I think she would be good plus it will be a big slap at Days & Ron Carlivati who thought Abby was a nothing character. This way they lose both of their Abby Deveraux Dimeria. Yes its Petty and I dont care
  6. Oh yeah it could be that too. Im just happy she's happy about writing her own stories now.
  7. Watched it. Sounds like she was interested in what GH had planned for Kristina but also seems like there is weight off of her not being at GH anymore and also being able to work on projects that speak to her.
  8. Loved that Laura had the vial of the Pathegon. Victor looked freaked out Nice to see Helena but glad she's still dead and in Valentin's head
  9. It would be Karma if Willow gets her bone marrow & then seriously considers divorcing Michael
  10. I believe Michael Confronti is also at GH & Fi-core Fran Myers & Jeanne Marie Ford
  11. I believe GH is also dark this week
  12. Itll be interesting what Daytime soaps do They have fi-core writers so writing can continue Their IATSE members can chose not to cross the picket line and not lose their jobs But they can be replaced until the strike is over
  13. IATSE: In a communication to U.S. IATSE members on April 28, the crew union’s international president Matthew Loeb noted that many of its major agreements (including the Basic Agreement, covering more than 40,000 West Coast members, and USA 829’s pact) do not “expressly prohibit employees from honoring lawful picket lines” and therefore employees “retain their right to honor a lawful picket line.” Others (such as the Area Standards Agreement, covering around 20,000 workers outside of Los Angeles and New York, and many New York Local agreements) “expressly” allow employees to honor lawful picket lines. The caveat? Employers can “temporarily replace” workers that do decide not to cross those picket lines. They cannot terminate their employment except when there are “compelling business reasons” that have nothing to do with the workers’ decision about the picket line, Loeb argued. So by what Mr Loeb said, they can not cross the picket line & wont lose their jobs. However, the employers can hire replacements until the strike ends.
  14. Daytime performers are members of SAG-AFTRA. SAG-AFTRA has a non strike clause in their contract So with Daytime most likely using fi-core writers to write the shows and there already scripts written to be filmed, those actors will have to work
  15. B&B, Days, GH & Y&R have writers who have fi-core status and writing will most likely continue like it did in 2007-08 I hope a fair deal is reached soon I am also curious what will happen with the DGA & SAG-AFTRA. Both of those deals end June 30, 2023
  16. Shannen Doherty looks damn good for somebody with Stage 4 Breast Cancer However GH has said that Willow should be dead by now, so the fact that shes not pale and weak is weird
  17. Alley Mills on Michael Fairman Emmy nom podcast just announced that she will be returning to set & filming as Heather Webber soon She is not sure when & what the story is yet.
  18. OMG, John a month before he passed away.
  19. Has Flea forgotten how to work under cover. Why did she say Tracy's name like that. Tracy was right to call her dumb-ass out for doing that & screwing the plan.
  20. Yeah I thought it was shortbterm and thought they couldnt Get Nathan so they recast
  21. I doubt Tony & Even Emma would be back long term. I could see Luke being alive. Victor is taken down and Luke & Holly go off looking for adventures. Tracy who is supposedly back for a lengthy stint returns to PC & the Q's
  22. I would not be shocked if Luke makes an apperance
  23. This may be worse than when AMC had David drug the boat with Libedizone
  24. Jason Kincaid who replaced Justin Deas in 1984 was not well recieved and replaced with Greg Marx
  25. I do hope we get some more Andrew & Paul . Also that come to Salem.
