I love reality tv and the trash that it is. Guess who is joining the cast next season? Melissa Gorga, Theresa's sister in law! You know I was thinking what would they do next season bc they cant have another one strictly of the women vs Danielle bc that ran strong for 2 seasons and none really have a connection with her so it would feel really forced. So in comes Melissa. They set up her intro perfectly. Danielle drops the bomb about Theresa not seeing her "newphew" when he was born and the rumors ofher husband, Joe being the father of the child circulate. Now theres controversy and they bring in a new rival for Theresa. Melissa is married to her brother and apparently is richer and has a bigger, better house than her. Should be juicy:

On a related note, Danielle has been fired and wont be in season 3. Probably for the best bc like I said, the women have no connection to her anymore and what we got in season 2 seeemd kinda forced at times. She's hiniting that she may have a spinoff int eh works similarly to Bethenny. I dont know who would watch that as she was incredibly unlikeable and only good for the drama, she gave the other housewives

Oh I read that yesterday and I believe it. Apparently Joe had a love child with his sister-in-law, hence the "nephew" comment. Theresa went completely crazy thats why I believe theres validity in that rumor

Atlanta is gearing up to debut its 3rd season in Oct on my birthday (4th)! Shoudl be a fun season. Unforutnately Lisa wont be on it and Im disapointed bc I loved her

So anyone watching DC housewives? Im hooked on these shows. Here are my thoughts on the new gals

Stacie - One of my faves. I love how down to earth she is. I really like her family and she seems the most level headed, sensible and smart one of the group

Mary - my second fave. She seems to have a cute and bubbly personality and seems like a genuinly nice person. So far she's the onyl one not involved in conflict and I thnk she will acted as the mediator. She is teh glue that ties all the women together as I beleive she's the one that they all knew prior to the show.What do you think of her having a keypad on her closet that only she can access via her index finger that it reads. Anyone else think that seems a bit excessive

Lynda - rounding out the women that I like is her. She's not a fave like the top 2, but she's not too bad. I will say that I dindt like how she insinuated that Michaele had an eating disorder and talked about it with that guy. I dont think she did it as someone who was concerned as I dont think she cares for Michaele. She should have talked to her directly about it.

Cat - Ugh, cant stand her. Talk about opening mouth and inserting foot. I dont think she's racist as the show seemed to insinuate but I do think she doesnt know how to act around other races. I dont think she thinks before she speaks and doesnt realize or understand what she says. I think she should take a class on rac relation bc she doesnt realize when she's being offensive. She is too opininated and there are times when you need to calm it down and hold things back.

Michaele - The Heidi Montag of DC. Hate her! She is such an attention seeker and seeing her on this show, I completely see why she would crash the White House party bc she's all about making a spectacle and having people focus on her. I also cant stand that weasel of a husband she has. I love all the husbansd and boyfriends on this show except hers

I think the Massacre killed Dynasty. I mean where could you go from there? But part of the problem was the recast of Amanda. Catherine was Amanda. She was let go and recast with a horrible actress. The show had a different feeling with her in the role. I thought the show was stilll good up to season 9 excluding all the UFO mess and Ben(Blake's brother...the whole Season 6 Cliffhanger(Blake choking Alexis..lol..that was so cheesy and most of the Ben storywas awful).. I think the Ben mess along with that cliffhanger made Dynasty go downhill even faster. Season 8 was somewhat ok with Sean and the revelation that he was Kirby's brother and Joseph's son. Krystal leaving was truly the end of Dynasty.

Then there was the awful Roger Grimes case with Fallon. .Then Sable was brought over with her daughter Monica. Sable vs Alexis was good but didnt come close to what Krystal vs Alexis was. Anyways The Colbys had been cancelled and they brought in the dead weight on Dynasty. And dont get me started on Season 9 cliffhanger of Dynasty. Dex and Alexis falling off a balcony...geesh...even the actors said it was cheesy bad.

The recast Adam was awful!

Amanda wasnt recast after the massacre. Oxenberg remained on the show for the entire season that followed and the role wasnt recasted till season 7.

You thought season 8 was good? That was Dybnasty at its worse. I hated Sean and his story seemed like a rehash of what we've alerady seen before. Tying him to Kirby, the most boring character in Dynasty history just added to the mess that he was.

Season 9 was much better than it in so many ways. I thought the Grimes case was written pretty well and it was a very good use of history. Fallon and the cop were an unlikely pair but worked well together. I loved the growing cloesness between Fallon and Krystina in this season and their finale at the end.

Sami Jo was a fun character which worked best during the on-and-off-seasons

IA. Once she got full time status, they realized they had to tone her down to give her some actual iability. The nasty stuff she did and the way she acted was alright before bc she didnt stick for too long to deal with the consequences. She was used to spice up other stoiryliens and make the other characters more interesting and she was amazing in that capacity. Her redemption took alot out of her that made her fun. I still loved her and enjoyed watching her, but she was a much better character pre-season 6.

I was kind of surprised by how fast they got rid of Sammy Jo in season 2. She married Steven, then started to show her true colors, and she allowed Alexis to buy her off. And that was that.

Heather Locklear was on two primetime shows at the time, Dynasty and T.J. Hooker. She was one of the lead roles on Hooker from 1982-1985 for 4 seasons. Thats why Sammy Jo appeared sporadically on Dynasty as a semi-regular. She did not become a full time cast memmber till 1985. We're lucky they let her remain part time and worked around her schedule, writing Sammy Jo in for a few episodes here and there rather than dumpnig Locklear and recasting the role. Considering the troubles they had with females, I cringe at what could have happened to the character, had they gone that route.

Annie found love with Jude, played by Sean Kanan. I still remember them doing it to Santana's "Smooth" before the song became popular. But Meh. It should have been Tim & Annie together in the end. Why SUN never went there I'll never understand (best chemistry ever). They even would have had a great couple name- Tannie! (please no Sarah Buxton jokes)

Tim was not leading man material. Annie was a much larger character than he was in so many ways. I dont think they had potential to be a big couple. Maybe a couple of nights of sex. Jude was a much better match for her in so many ways, but unfortunately he came on to late so their story was wrapped up rather quickly

I don't think she ever had a real career to begin with. But damn, that's horrible.

But not to get OT - I'm currently in the middle of season two and I like the show. I'll stick with it until the end of season five and then decide if it is worth losing my nerves to watch the remaining two seasons. But I still have a long way to go until then - all seasons are just soooo long.

its nto so bad when you watch it in bulk. Season 6 was torture bc it dragged out for a year. It was bad but season 7 was better as it definetly improved after getting rid of alot of the unnecesary characters and had more focused writing. Id just go ahead and watch the entire series

I read on Wikipedia that Tracey Bregman originally auditioned for the role of Patty on Y&R. She lost that but then got the role of Lauren without auditioning for it.

Anyone watching the NY Reunion. Three parts and its pure drama. Kelly looks even crazier on this than she did on the show. She seems delusional.

How fake was Jill? The only reason she is so apologetic now and wanting to make ammends is bc of all the hate she's gotten in the press and from the public. She is trying to redeem herself

Here are my comments on last week. Kim G is annoying me. I have to say I liked her sticking up for Christopher though and calling Danielle out on not saying anything when Danny called him the f word. Speaking of which why does she need to bring thugs everytime she is around those ladies, as if they are going to kill her or something? I mean really? Danielle is such a drama queen

I dont like Ashley, Jaqueleine's daughter. That girl is a brat and she's adding to this Danielle drama. Kids are so stupid these days with Facebook and airnig all their dirty laundry on there, putting up messages and pictures of their crimes as if people cant use that as evidence ot show the police

Did you guys here that Theresa's family filed for bankruptcy? They all alot of bills and taxes. I am not surprised bc this woman has no concept of a budget with the way she spends money. Im shocked her husband just gives her his credit card and lets her run up any bill she wants

And in case anyone wanted to know (or rather not know), Danielle just released a sex tape of herself. WTF is wrong with this woman? She has kids for heavens sake. NJ got a whole lot more interesting this week and it looks to get even better next week when Dina confronts Danielle. Danielle is so psychotic! Like Jacqueline said, she is a nutjob. She is delusional to think she actually has a good grasp on reailty. I couldnt beleive her behavior at the charity benefit and how she kept twisting things to rationalize everything that was said or happened as some calculated plot against her. This would needs some serious help, for real.

Favorite line of the episode goes to Theresa: "Theresa only makes divas, not tomboys" LOL...I wonder what she would do if one of her princesses ended up a butch lesbian

Another good one was when she was asked about getting a tattoo. "Would you put a bumper sticker on a bentley?"

My all time favorite moments are when Kim tried to be a country singer, when Sheree cursed out the party planner, and that time Sheree and Kim got into at theat restaraunt. LOL!

There are probably more, that I just need to think on.

I had major hate for Sheree season 1. She got alot more appealing in the 2nd season. I couldnt stand Kim. Im with the other housewives in their hate for Nne.

Im up and down with Nene. She was my favorite in season 1 but didnt like how she tried to pick a feud with Kandi in season 2, who did nothing to her. I think she was just jealous to have another housewife on the show and of her friendship with Kim. IA that Kandi was boring in the bginning but I thougth she got better towards the end when she was more integrated with the rest. Its unfortunate to say, but I think her fiancee, AJ's death, helped solidify her place on the show and gave her an interesting story.

yes. You should check them out. ATL was the first one that I watched and got me into the franchise but this season of NY is better than last season of ATL. NJ started off slow but its coming along as well.

Im not sure when ATL will return but it should be interesting especially with the drama thats happened since, like with Nene's family. Kim turning into a lesbian (probably for show! lol) 2 new housewives joining and Victoria Rowell possibly as a recurring housewife.

Kelly's meltdown was crazy. I knew she had her issues with Bethennny but I thought she put them to rest. Her behavior was uncalled for and over the top. I liked her before these last 2 episodes, but not so sure now

I have to say Im liking Sonja. I think the show needs her and she seems like she will be very interesting going into the future. The other new housewife that debuted a few weeks ago, I wasnt really feeling, but at least she didnt become a main one yet

Danielle is pathetic. I couldnt beleive she held a seat for Jacqueline and Dina at the luncheon and proceed to make big speech about them not being there. Get a life already.

Marie Alice Reasner was a bad recast. She played Ellen as if she got a lobotomy. It was like a new character and I didnt like the direction they took her in. One thing that bothered me was that the show never explained her connection to Rachel. They had some tie in the past that wasnt reveal. Ellen was soon written out and Rachel got her apartment. Do you have any idea where the writers were going with that?

I thought Matt's relationship with Ellen was rather boring. I thought it kept them both from being interesting. I thought they were better in the beginning before they got together and proabbly could have shined had they been with different people
