Besides the two mentions on Days episodes, Stephanie wrote her column mentioning me once in Digest, and I was mentioned in a Q&A in another issue of Digest. There was a Bill Hayes documentary where they mentioned me in the credits. And then there's the uncredited stuff, like when Days asked me to find the airdates of Kathie Lee Gifford for the 50th anniversary so that the Today Show could air a clip of Kathie Lee as the nurse when they were promoting Days 50th in 2015. And if CNN ever airs that documentary where they are supposed to be interviewing Tina Andrews about her time on Days, then perhaps they will give me a credit as well! I forgot to do it earlier, but I just messaged Ryan and asked if it was he or Ron responsible for getting that in, or if it was something the dialogue writer added in. Regardless of who it was, it was nice of them to do so!

I didn't think of it that way. I have never been de-SORASED before, so that's nice of them to do it! 😀

You could point out the bright spot of me being mentioned though! Hadn't known that was going to happen, so I was caught off guard when Whitley started mentioning Jason32 posting zoomed-in call sheets. That was a nice unexpected shoutout. Wish they had used Jason47 itself, but Jason32 will have to do! If people are skipping watching today'e episode, hope you will at least watch my shout out scene at the 21:02 time mark!

It's probably just someone with the same name, but the only name I recognized from Days is Ben Bennett who played some small roles on Days in the 1960's. But doubt that is him. The only other Days names I saw were the ones you mentioned above.

For those who know the writer from other shows, is the new Days writer spelled Dan O'Conner or Dan O'Connor? When he is on the alphabetical list in the credits, it's spelled O'Conner. For the two episodes he has actually written, they have spelled it O'Connor. So which is correct?

1985 DAYTIME TV SPECIALS:

Don't know about 12/19/72, but like I said above, we'll get confirmation once that Nielsen data arrives. I was just listing two additional preemptions from 12/72 and 1/73 that I hadn't seen you mention (the two funerals).

1984 DAYTIME TV SPECIALS:

Checking additional sources, President Truman's funeral was 12/28/72, supposedly aired from 3-430PM, which was during a dark week, so we will never know the exact length. The previous day, 12/27/72, I have Days listed as being preempted for his funeral, but checking more into it, that preemption was actually for his procession to lie in state. Aired from 2-3PM and picked back up at 4PM, so looks like AW most likely aired on 12/27 but not on 12/28. President Johnson's funeral was 1/25/73 from 1-4PM, so that would account for a 2nd AW preemption during the 12/27/72-1/25/73 time frame.

That's great to hear! Always happy when my research helps other soaps!! The dark week is 12/25/72-12/31/72, so 12/19/72 will hopefully be available. I know the 1972/1973 years have some additional books missing, which will affect some of the Watergate preemption data, but I think we will eventually have most of Watergate at least.
