  1. There were only 5 episodes that Leann and Christie were in together in 1986, so these are the only episodes they may have shared a scene in (my scene logs don't go back that far): 5/20/86, 6/2/86, 6/10/86, 6/11/86, 6/26/86.

  3. Just got that confirmed from the show. Yes, Andy did take over as Lurker on 5/22. So I will update that on my May chart.
  4. JOHN'S FAREWELL SONG... Goodbye My Love (For Now) performed by Vanessa Bryan. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_migDRYg34
  5. I asked the show what Ciara's son is called on the scripts to differentiate from Peter Reckell's Bo, and he is listed as Baby Bo, played by Theodore & Vincent Simard. So I will be listing him as Baby Bo in the cast chart and rankings. I was surprised when we saw his face in the 2nd episode in May, since Chuck Saculla usually only does voice work and he was Duke (with the bear head) that came to life with Rafe, but you don't usually see his face. Now, Soap Digest listed Andy Martinez (who recently played the Rafe/Arnold Double) as the Lurker. This looks like Andy was the one we saw May 22. Doesn't he look like the 3rd photo on this page: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1659044/ So it looks like he took over the role on May 22 once his face was going to be shown.

  7. As Salem bids farewell to John Black on Monday, the "Days" family and fans say a final goodbye to Drake Hogestyn. From his time as a young man playing baseball in the minor leagues for the New York Yankees to his almost four-decade run as John Black, Drake always did his best. And, while becoming a soap opera icon, he spent almost 40 years at "Days" telling the best stories and taking the younger cast under his wing to make sure they would do their best as well. Thank you, Drake, for the legacy you have left for everyone at "Days." The impact you made on the cast, crew and fans will never be forgotten...and that's a fact.

  11. I have this for the 4th act on 11/9/88, which per my files, is the first time John and Stefano are in a scene together: Limo (Roman, Diana, Stefano, Milo) Then their second time together is 11/17/88 in the second-to-last act: ON LOCATION: Beach & Cliff (Diana, Roman, Stefano) I'd have to check the 2016 logs, so I don't know who shares scenes as easily in this year, but these are the last 4 episodes that John and Stefano were both in together: 1/8/16, 1/11/16, 3/1/16, 3/2/16.

  20. I have them in the various threads here. I didn't keep a list offline of them. So, at this point, it's a little of a puzzle to find them all and put them together. I think I had posted up to around 2004 for the preemption lists. It would be nice to get them all in one place.
  21. RATINGS & PREEMPTIONS UPDATE: 1979-Present: 4 Weeks of data missing: 1 Fast Weekly Week: 8/24/81...This week is missing the prelim ratings and full/partial preemption data. 3 Partial Regular Weeks: 12/14/87, 5/20/91, 5/27/91. These three weeks have ratings data (one from Daytime TV; the other two of the three weeks have ratings & share data from Soap Opera Weekly) These weeks are missing the affiliates/clearances and partial preemptions data. Full preemption data is confirmed by comparing the # of telecasts in the preceding and succeeding books. TOTAL: 4 Weeks of data missing from 1/1/79-Present (out of 2,422 weeks) 99.9 percent complete! 1973-1978: 35 Weeks of data missing: 10 Full Regular Weeks: 9/3/73, 9/10/73, 9/17/73, 9/24/73, 10/1/73, 10/8/73, 10/15/73, 10/22/73, 4/10/78, 4/17/78. These ten weeks are missing the final ratings/shares/affiliates/clearances and partial preemptions data. Full preemption data is confirmed by comparing the # of telecasts in the preceding and succeeding books. For September 1973, the full preemption data is not confirmable, but newspaper listings & Vanderbilt News telecast listings provide the best list possible in its place. 25 Fast Weekly Weeks: 4/23/73, 6/25/73, 8/27/73, 12/24/73, 4/22/74, 6/24/74, 8/26/74, 12/23/74, 4/21/75, 6/23/75, 8/25/75, 12/22/75, 4/19/76, 6/21/76, 8/23/76, 12/20/76, 4/18/77, 6/20/77, 8/22/77, 12/19/77, 3/20/78, 4/24/78, 6/26/78, 8/28/78, 12/25/78. These 25 weeks are all missing the preliminary ratings and full/partial preemptions data. TOTAL: 39 Weeks of data missing from 1/1/73-Present (out of 2,735 weeks) 98.6 percent complete! Note: From the Days of Our Lives and Another World research, the full & partial preemptions should be all available, even from the 39 weeks above.
