I found it quickly because I remember a long time ago, Sony would post audio-only episodes of Days, and they would include the script I believe. So I think I only watched a few episodes of that, and I found out these characters were called Handmaidens in the script. I probably had just listed them as Woman # 1 and Woman # 2 in my notes back in 1994. But, in any event, because that was the episode I had happened to "listen to" (mainly for the script data), it was a quick search of Handmaiden in my file. 7430...12/16/94: Cast: Abe, Billie, Bo, Caroline, Gina, Jack, Jennifer, John, Kristen, Laura, Marlena, Shawn, Stefano, Dr. Perkins, Father Francis, Lisa, Priest (Paul), Handmaiden # 1, Handmaiden # 2, Mystery Person ("Marlena"). We don't have a full record of script writers from the mid 1980s to 2001, since they didn't run the credits every day. So, it's possible she wrote maybe a few scripts but was never in the credits. At most, she would have been a freelance writer, not on staff.

I didn't use the Schemering book for any of this, although that is a great book. I used the Encyclopedia of Daytime Television, which was published in 1997, as a starting point for my research. Then the Broadcasting monthly charts helped with the DuMont stuff in the 1950's. Schemering's book covered all of the primetime soaps as well, so none of those are involved in these lists.

It says 65 percent coverage for that 27-minute repeat. They didn't even bother having it rated. The special report was from 1257 to 5PM, so I guess only the Eastern and Central affiliates (and other early-airing affiliates) aired the first 27 minutes of it and then it was preempted in the rest of the country.

Thanks. I have updated those in the lists. Based on you pointing out the 11/7/18 episodes being posted online, are you confirming that BB was fully preempted by special reports on 7/15/15, 5/12/17, 7/20/17, 9/27/18 and 12/5/18 and YR was fully preempted by special reports on 9/27/18 and 12/5/18?
