  1. I have read the interview you’re speaking of and it’s a good one! Sally Sussman created two of her characters as well. I’ve never seen any video interviews with JER other than one related to Passions, but I have read text interviews with him from TIME and ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY.
  2. Do you mean video interviews? I’ve also just seen Passions interviews.
  3. Oh, absolutely. I would much rather watch Charity than Martha Dumptruck/Granny Belle.
  4. Good for Alice! And then we got the gorgeous penthouse set which John bought from Julie. Yes, Lee is the one. That’s why, in spite of Maison Blanche, the Possession, and Aremid, the main story was John/Kristen/Tony (really Andre).
  5. Huh? Eileen’s Kristen wouldn’t have teamed with Frizzy B. They would have been romantic rivals over John. Everything Kristen did in the 90s was to hold on to John. It wasn’t so much about Marlena. Kristen would have eliminated Frizzy B. Also, Kristen exists because Frizzy died and the head of NBC Daytime didn’t want Drake paired with Deidre (she thought Deidre was too old for him).
  6. I also read and enjoyed The Killing Club from OLTL. I borrowed it from the library.,
  7. I prefer Carrington Garland.
  8. I’d love to see Santa Barbara characters! Believe it or not, Eileen Davidson is my least favourite Kelly Capwell!
  9. If you don’t want Michael Easton, we will take him back on Days as Tanner.
  10. Deanna Sirtis? Someone must be a Trekkie!! So Lindsay Hartley returned and there was a fill-in Maxie? Nice to see Genie at the top of the list where she belongs.
  11. Who is this “we” you’re speaking of? The royal we? Surely you aren’t attempting to speak for the entire audience.
  12. My biggest wish for this writing team is that they’ll put Genie front and centre where she belongs. Been waiting five years for Frank’s false promises to materialize. The show should revolve around the hospital and Laura.
  13. Yes it is. We’re at a stalemate so we have no choice but to agree to disagree and move on. Passions had the Lopez-Fitzgeralds.
  14. It’s GH’s responsibility as the final ABC soap to become a super soap. Hell, not just its responsibility but its duty. If GH had been cancelled instead of OLTL like it was supposed to, GH fans would be clamouring to see their faves on OLTL. One doesn’t preclude the other from happening. It would be so much smarter and easier to bring on the Pine Valley Santoses than introduce a new Hispanic family.
  15. I’m advocating for this because at this point GH, as the one and only remaining ABC soap, should be reconfigured as a “super soap” made up of characters from all previous ABC soaps. I’d even change its name but I suspect that would be too complicated. Just bring more ABC Daytime characters to Port Charles and transform the show into something special. In fact, this change should have occurred back in 2012 when Frank and Ron first came to GH. Better late than never. It’s not as if Disney is going to create a new show on Hulu or Disney+ to feature characters from OLTL, AMC, THE CITY, etc.
  16. When we’re down to only one CBS show, absolutely. ————————————— When you see a fellow poster referring to a fellow poster as a “mental patient” or an “it”, report their goddamned post.
  17. Tough s*** for them. GH is the last ABC soap standing and should be used to feature characters from OLTL, AMC, LOVING, RYAN’S HOPE, etc. It’s the price they must pay for the privilege of not having lost their soap yet.
  18. I still have my copy of Hidden Passions from 2001. The marketing of that book on the show was pretty good and I loved the story that went along with it on the show. The novel did a good job of expanding the back stories of the parents. My only quibble is that the ghostwriter did not know how to write in Timmy’s voice at all, although those Timmy footnotes were appreciated. I also had the two Days novels by Sheri Anderson that focused on John and Marlena and other supetcouples who weren’t on the show at the time. There was supposed to be a third one but it was cancelled I suspect because John and Marlena returned to the show. I understand there were novelizations based on Days storylines as well.
  19. What about a situation like Patch on Days where he was injected with something while dying in the hospital, died onscreen, and then his coffin was shown being switched with another coffin?
  20. Keep in mind she is biased against Ron. Ask someone who is impartial.
  21. You needn’t have replied to me in the first place.
