I don’t want Paul recast either! I wish they could work something out with Christopher. He seems to do a lot of voice acting so maybe they could work something out? Andrew and Dimitri would be acceptable. I like Leo but prefer him as an “old maid” type, always a bridesmaid, never a bride. I’ve said I’d like him to be the Ivan to Theresa’s Vivian. A supporting character who is entertaining in his own right but not the point of view character.

B&B fans are wild. They either have an outrageously over the top hatred for Sheila or an outrageously over the top hatred for Brooke, lol

What the JER hater fails to recognize is that he brought the show’s ratings up, up, up. Thanks to the possession Days was the only soap whose ratings increased during the OJ trial. Then, two years later, JER brought Days such high ratings on the strength of the Kristen/Susan/John/Marlena story that it nearly defeated Y&R as the number one soap. In fact, JER’s Days was so successful that NBC rewarded him with his own soap, Passions. You can’t cherry pick history nor can you lie or obfuscate facts. The fact that JER is still under your skin all these years later puts a smile on my face. ☺️

A bunch of characters who haven’t been seen in 30-40 years? Including one who has never been seen? No. That’s not going to have any sort of emotional impact whatsoever. The Horton family should be centered around Jennifer (Missy), Jack, and their family. Maybe Hope and Bo and Eli and Lani (recast). As a Carrie and Austin fan, I never want to see that scumbag Mike ever again.

The last time Days had scab writers the writing actually improved! Mark Higley did a good job at fixing the mess Sheffer made. I’m curious if the same thing will happen again. The scab stories begin this week. Andrew belongs with sweetie pie Paul. It’s too bad Days won’t let this baby switch play out until Jude is a teenager and can react onscreen. That’s what I hate about baby switches. They should have let the JT/Isaac switch come out when they were in high school but the head writer change stopped that (it was Tom Langan’s original plan).

Plus LK is MAGA like Banus. The less of them the better.

She moved to the East Coast, and she’s not needed unless Jay Kenneth Johnson is with her. #PhloePhorever Kate needs to be fully written out. She should have been written out 15 years ago.

The Bells own B&B so he can’t be fired, just like Ken Corday owns Days and can’t be fired. They are the only remaining family-owned daytime dramas. The Bells sold their stake in Y&R years ago.

Thanks for the info. When Eileen Davidson was submitting for her work as Susan on Days in 2017 I assumed it was for the Guest category but someone told me about that rule which I guess was never true or changed at some point. Absolutely not true. You just don’t like what I have to say so you attempt to “other” me and gang up on me.

Facts speak for themselves. Marlena has appeared in more episodes than any other character including the Hortons. Characters, families, and couples all exist because of her. Marlena led the groundbreaking possession storyline. You don’t get much more important than that. I’m glad I discovered the ignore function.

That’s one of my favorite Days scenes of all time. JER was a genius and I’m so glad he had the balls to kill Alice. Stupid Kenny ruined everything though. At least I got you to admit you don’t like Deidre. You *could* talk *to* me instead of acting like I’m not here.

Nope. Go back and look at the 80s. Check Deidre’s Q ratings. Doug and Julie were popular for a bit but easily lifted out of the show during the vast exodus of 1983/84. Not sure how someone as hammy and ridiculous as Susan Seaforth-Hayes could ever be popular. Deidre has appeared in more episodes than any other actor. Marlena *is* Days.

Rebecca was her best role and she played her the longest. Young people like me know Andrea from Passions.

Marlena has always been more popular than Julie. It seems that some simply don’t want to recognize Deidre as the star of the show and the most important thing to ever happen to it.

Roman was brought in as a love interest for Marlena. Had Marlena not been created, Roman would not have been created. The Bradys owe their existence to Deidre’s popularity. Every supercouple owes their existence to Marlena. Bo would not exist without Marlena. Kim would not exist without Marlena. Kayla would not exist without Marlena. Jack would not exist without Marlena (he was brought in for Kayla). Marlena is the most important character in Days history because of all the characters, couples, and children that sprang from her. Austin and Carrie, Susan, EJ, Sister Mary Moira, Lucas, Nicole, etc. can all be traced back to Marlena and that’s testimony to Deidre’s enduring popularity and that is why she is the Queen of Days of Our Lives.

Not Ron’s fault. When the Horton house burns to the ground under the scabs, who will you blame then?
