Y&R is definitely doing better than it did when they came out of the COVID hiatus, that is for sure. But their lack of an overnight set crew does not help their cause. YUP!

Wishing Y&R luck this month; I know Crimson Lights, the GCAC, Society, and Chancellor Park will be riveted with business talks, revolving doors of employee changes, and all of that juicy stuff.

It is clear Allison is cuckoo crazy! Rings? Okay. They are cute. And good on Chelsea for trying to avoid kissing Allison by stating they are not a traditional couple. Tomas in Bill's office feels right... but I also find it suspect he has not been helping Katherine concerning the situation at hand. Dana continues to be EXTRA EXTRA tell me about it! Yes, Chelsea, keep on outsmarting her. You have got this. You are a Dupree and a Hamilton! Dana, settle down; a petition for divorce was filed, but that does not mean it will be completed or finalised. Deadbeat is not actually trying to act like he is one to talk about finding out now in comparison to when actions happened. Hypocrite. Katherine, half the time, your intuitions are wrong. Sorry, but both Deadbeat and Katherine are adults. If your parents divorce, why do you care? I mean, I get it... but you are both ADULTS! Ted, on paper, your idea is nice, but are you really going to live with Dana and Eva? That does not sound like a sound idea. I pray he is playing on her feelings to the point where, once backed out of the deal, he goes back on his. Dana waltzing in like she owns the house already shows she should not get comfortable. Notes: Whew... today is a breakdown by the "writer", and we immediately have shortened scenes both pre- and post-title cards. RhonniRose Mantilla (Chelsea) and Brianna Roberts (Allison) continue to do outstanding work in their scenes. I am buying them both. We are finally getting Alex Alegria (Tomas) into better-fitting suits. Still not where I would like to see it, but much, much better. Keith D. Robinson (Ted) is an actor's actor. He can work in any medium, and I am so happy we have him on our soap.

Unlike others, I do not dislike Roger Howarth as an actor. This does not sound as tenured as Tamara Braun's casting, so we will see what happens. Ultimately, this will either be a super hit or a super miss, but it is nice seeing him return to CBS after all of these years. Just a shame Colleen Zenk is not appearing as Jordan at this time.

Who knows; but considering scripts are written six-months in advance, I doubt it.

It definitely seems holiday-specific; the last break was during the Fourth of July week, and I suspect these breaks are to ensure we get episodes airing through the end of 2025.

Todd Rotondi is a really nice guy, too.

My guess is holiday weeks are being navigated around to avoid the usual pre-emptions, as well as possible news break ones.
