  1. Fück Chelsea. Really.
  2. The problem is: Mishael Morgan chose to go recurring this go 'round, so I suspect if she wanted to be on a soap full-time, it would be The Young and the Restless, though I also think she'd be a good hire for The Gates (since both Amanda / Hilary are no-gos for me).
  3. I know a lot find it dated in 2024, but it is still a reality for a lot of people, especially in a post-45 era (45 meaning the 45th President, who I refuse to outright name). I could name a lot of other tropes / storylines that feel more dated than this, and part of me is hoping the story will eventually lead Kristina to double-think her relationship with Blaze once her nephew / niece is born, and it puts another story into motion for Kristina. Because, like you said, with the investment that has clearly been put into Mansi as Kristina, I hope for something more. The recast came at an unfortunate time ⏤ a forced multi-recast of Molly, a Writer's Strike and then eventual head writing change ⏤ so at this point, I am just riding the ride to see where things eventually lead. Uhm, Kristina has been a Sonny apologist since Lexi Ainsworth returned to the role in 2015. The only genuine time they had Kristina really speak out against her father's life was when Lindsey Morgan came in with the Mob Princess storyline and was driven by anger.
  4. I like Kristina & Alison (a.k.a. Blaze), however, I too feel like there's got to be a better romantic match for Kate Mansi. But the push for them as a couple of giving me obsessed fan vibes ⏤ the same way people harped on Kristina & Parker, and that is turning me off to them. At this point, let their storyline ride-out the pregnancy, then re-group and possibly find another romantic interest. Hell, find a way to poach Brytni Sarpy back from The Young and the Restless (where she is essentially recurring) and bring Valerie back to the canvas. Mansi & Sarpy could be good together, especially under Patrick Mulcahey's pen.
  5. Tuned in to see Leo Howard was nüTate and there are definite similarities between him and his predecessor, Jamie Martin Mann (who was wasted). Wishing Howard well in the role, especially on this soap with its toxic on-set behaviours.
  6. Bittersweet, yes, but so much better off (for her). Her talents were wasted there. Now she's onto bigger, better and more excellent things!
  7. With platforms like Hulu & Paramount+, as well as late-night airings, there is zero reason to pre-empt soaps in 2024.
  8. I agree: a Mulcahey-led day in credits is a day worth watching.
  9. I blocked this era out so bad, haha.
  10. They're in the same place they've always been: after the opening credits. Been that way pre-Valentini.
  11. YUP! Anna Devane is finally feeling like Anna Devane for the first time since she returned in 2012. THIS is the Anna I needed to come back.
  12. He made the right decision.
  13. Unlikely, especially when others should be placed on, instead.
  14. Also showed just how fresh the writers and producers were. Such a nice time, LOL.
  15. Oh, thanks for the explanation and the back story. As for Alex on General Hospital... yeah, it did seem like Alex reverted to old form.
  16. No clue; it had to ultimately do with Dmitry at the end of the day, I think? It was cool, though.
