She can play it over-the-top, yes. And she wasn't as... exaggerated as Carly or even Diane... I think it's how she plays Ava. Yup; she turns shït into gold in the best way, even when the writing is not there. I feel like she was a woman in a man's world... and then the "writer" kept corner-writing her, and subsequent regimes just lost the plot. I feel like the interim strike team were beginning to restore Ava, and now we are seeing Mulcahey re-flush her out, and I love it.

It's happening; Korte is going to make it happen, and I am going to cry during the whole thing.

I'm calling it now: they are going to re-tell the Jagger / Jason / Karen storyline with Jagger / Jason / Carly. I am calling it. Classic soap: re-telling of a story in modern times, with a bit of a different take. It was a brilliant quote and definitely felt like classic soap. Totally a Mulcahey move in what felt like a Korte-filled episode.... if that makes sense? And the beard HELPS him as Drew. The beard holds the power... but still, the writing choices from Van Etten & O'Connor, as well as the strike team really dampered his work as Drew for me.

Ah yes, those classic days of New York before the two racists really made themselves known. No. Not outside. In her cold, wet foyer! I remember how much Heather pressed upon us all that the foyer was cold and wet. Hilarious; a true return to form after the Aviva years.

Eight months tape-to-air is ridiculous, especially since they were weeks out in 2020 when COVID production began again. Not a single soap should be that advanced in taping. At all. That's insanity.

I would have, too, although, I'm not hating Harrington in the role. It's clear they're removing emotion from the role (for now), and I'm kind of okay with that.

Oh, both of those would've been magic in casting. But Paul Anthony Stewart seems happy in New York with his partner, so that'd be a no-go, although, it'd be awesome to see him reunite with Laura Wright once again.

His work, as of late, looks like professional amateur. Feels a bit like the TOLN productions but with less care to the finished product.

I keep looking at Hollyoaks, who is cutting TWENTY cast members in lieu of upcoming production changes and their cast wasn't that big to begin with... and I keep wondering if / when it'll happen to General Hospital. Or if it'll happen over a period of time. The rumour mill today was been 🔥.
