The hand is giving me Jeanne Cooper as Katherine Chancellor. The costuming just looks.... top quality. I just know the fabric feels rich with not a stitch out of fücking place. I also notice that Nicole is presented as more muted (with the sparkles), while Dani is the one wearing pops of colour/print.

Oh, I'm hoping they did, in knowing how Laura Wright would deliver the line(s).

I'd love to see Michael Park pop-up back in daytime but I just don't see it happening at this point. Beyond the Gates might be the one glimmer of hope at some point. As for Maura West as Diane; I agree she was miscast, but she worked the HELL out of that role. They were recasting/de-aging the role, she was out of a job and CBS wanted to keep her in the family, so it just happened.

Because, someone is bored and cannot be consistent to save their lives.

It's a standard rotating cycle (especially the opening faces) with some small changes per episode, depending on who may appear in that episode/episodes surrounding them.

Super couple, in the social media era, is not "super couple" to me in the same way it was during the medium's highest points of time. It isn't two actors who shared one scene and are immediately deemed a "super couple". To me, they need presence in media, and presence within the medium for it to be possible/considered.

I'm not usually one to defend Burton, given my true disdain for him, but I have a feeling he'd be more likely to do the storyline now than he would back in the day.

She really did follow the lead of Anna Lee's Lila as the Matriarch of the Quartermaine family, and always matched against Jane Elliot's Tracy in terms of having the zestiness for the Quartermaines, etc.
