  1. The Martin/Nicole scene today was really good.
  2. Okay so it seems that, today, Samantha tells Kat only that Martin and Smitty are separated, but nothing at all about the incident two years ago. (Samantha doesn't know all of the details and fallout of the inicident anyhow, but it seems like she doesn't mention that at today.). Kat's reaction is strictly about the separation -- so I think that's all that was mentioned to Kat today. Perhaps Kat thinks it was simply about some random arguing or distancing between Martin and Smitty.
  3. Today was a great episode!
  4. "the role of Javi will be recast, sources tell Deadline." https://deadline.com/2025/07/al-calderon-exits-days-of-our-lives-javi-role-recast-1236474399/
  5. The dialog today - the Articulettes concert will be at "The Howard". Do they mean this? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Howard_Theatre
  6. Nobody told Kat about Martin's situation? And now Samantha will tell Kat the sanitized version she knows? Naomi blurting to Dani about Bill's role in the murder, which Dani didn't know about?
  7. Is this a typo or ? ? ? ? ? ? July 29, 2025 interview with Greg Rikaart. Regarding DAYS, the article author says "Since scribes Shelly Altman and Jean Passanante have taken over, another side of Leo has emerged." https://www.womansworld.com/entertainment/celebrities/days-star-greg-rikaart-on-daytime-emmy-nomination-soapy-podcast Author Deanna Barnert is usually accurate. . . but this?
  8. I checked out the youtube channel that will *supposedly* be interviewing Hunter Tylo. https://www.youtube.com/@TheUnexpectedCosmology That channel is hosted by a website with all sorts of unusual religious/conspiracy theories. . . https://theunexpectedcosmology.com/ministry/ So I don't know if it's really Hunter being interviewed or not.
  9. That random tvinsider article is referencing a real SOD article. https://www.soapoperadigest.com/content/suzanne-rogers-and-her-character-maggie-arent-going-anywhere-says-days-of-our-lives-rep-excl/ The SOD article by Mara Levinsky says that there were so many fake rumors on Facebook that Suzanne was leaving, that a spokesperson for DAYS told SOD that Suzanne's staying at DAYS, and please disregard the fake rumors. So it's non-news news.
  10. oooh. Was that way back when the supposed DNA test for Eva/Ted was run? or something else?
  11. I usually love this show but I thought those scenes were horrible and I was *very* negative.
  12. That cringe line delivery: "it's incredible how much we see everything exactly the same, like a real couple"
  13. Kat: "That would really be... something."
  14. July 10, 2025, Michael Fairman interviewed a bunch of Emmy nominees in a live stream that lasted three hours and 26 minutes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n2AvlYn9_dA Greg Rikaart comes on at 57:19. Before discussing his Emmy nomination, they discuss the Soapy podcast. Rikaart: We launched this week, and it was a really big success, and it's been a lot of fun. We did 13 episodes. Well, you know, it's fun talking about . . . Fairman: Now you know what it's like to do interviews. Rikaart: Well, the learning curve was hard and fast. You realize that what you do is hard work. The amount of work we have to do leading up to an episode surprised me. Fairman: And you shot them all -- the first 13 -- in probably limited amount, a tight amount of time. Rikaart: We did. We shot three shows a day for three days; and then our last day was four episodes which was -- that was a humdinger, that was a lot of work. Because they're not. . . they're edited down to about an hour, but some of them have gone *way* longer. ------------------------ It looks like all the podcast episodes that will drop through most of September -- have already been recorded.

  16. Finally watched the parts of today's episode that I'd missed earlier. The June/Regina stuff was interesting. I started to rewatch the entire episode as I often do, but it was all so terrible that I had to turn it off. This is the first time I ever disliked an episode so much. So I have disliked one episode out of one hundred episodes. That's 99% like and 1% dislike. Not bad!
  17. TMG is a great actress. But the character of Leslie has become repetitive. Leslie's not fun anymore for me. I understand that villains can drive story, but I can handle villains in short arcs only and not as part of the main canvas -- that's how I feel about just about every show on daytime and primetime. When the villain is a regular in the places where my heroes frequent, the drama is diluted. Also I think Leslie has become a camp caricature.
  18. Thanks. That must have been one of the Leslie scenes I muted. I've muted her scenes in the past few episodes she's appeared in.
  19. Who spilled to Ted that Kat sabotaged Eva regarding the clinic credential? I guess it was Tomas?
  20. I missed the first 20 minutes. The remaining 40 minutes were just awful. Andre/Ashley: horrible. Leslie-Dana is annoying and has become unwatchable for me. The Joey storyline is icky. I really hope the earlier parts of the episode are better.
  21. These Ashley/Andre scenes are cringe. Just ewwww. Tomas is ewwww
  22. I missed the first 20 minutes of today with the June scenes. Will catch it again on the west coast feed.
  23. Joey and Vanessa are gross. I really hope Vanessa is playing Joey and not actually interested in him personally anymore.
  24. I am so tired of Leslie. I am now muting her scenes.
