I started following twitter during the Arab Spring when young people were discussing overthrowing repressive regimes. It was a way to communicate anonymously and bring about positive change. Now twitter is owned by someone who is endorsing the return of a repressive regime.

Re: Hulu telling people that you can watch today's episode by letting the episode autoplay from the previous episode. Yeah I've done that with many shows on more than one streaming network -- if the current episode doesn't seem to be up, I watch the end of the prior one and the new one then loads. Especially on ParamountPlus, and sometimes on Peacock. Works for primetime episodes that seem to be uploading late, if they aren't on the menu, do that trick to get the latest.

I noticed that when embedding a twitter video via "three-dots" method, the tweet frame appears then disappears, so what remains on the messageboard post is the video only without the tweet frame -- which is fine, unless you want to display the text of the tweet with its video.

oooh That's how I embed instagram posts and facebook posts, using the three dots to get the embed code, then posted that code in the source screen, exactly with the specific sequence of steps that you described. To distract myself from all the doomscrolling, I joyfully discovered that Amazon has the complete series of Xena Warrior Princess. Awesome! It's even better than I remember from when it first aired. But, very annoyingly, each episode begins with an advertisement that Amazon will be hosting its own election coverage with Brian Williams to host. I just want to focus on strong women! I don't want to see ads for Bezos' involvement in the election! Seriously, his newspaper won't endorse a candidate, yet he wants to air election news on his network? No, just no.

I remember doorbelling for Bill Clinton in 1992, and crashing exhausted at 7 pm on Election Day that year, having worked for national and local candidates for months. And then awakening at 10pm that evening to learn we'd won!

In section 1 specifically, everyone who had waited the first time moved forward for session two. We waited through lunch, through the Day Players—this was in addition to waiting already done through the first session. If we moved, we lost our spot. Matthew @WhereAreYouBabe 4. We couldn’t believe the insanity one worker who immediately took people from the back of the line who hadn’t even been waiting like the rest of us. Some had already been on stage. For the past few years, the Day of Days promo video hasn't been a fall promo. Instead, it has been a "trailer" for the full season with snippets of what's already been filmed, and usually covers around five months. In this case, it's more like 7 months or more. This is a trailer for Season 60 (as the thread title says).

@Errol I know you've been busy at Day of Days and I totally appreciate/anticipate your reporting from that event. That does take priority! But when you can, please see if you can fix the twitter embedding issue. We can't post tweets from Day of Days on the D.o.D thread, and that's what I find fun, all the social media of the annual event that fans and cast post.

That weird phenomenon of embedded IG posts overlapping into the next forum post ... is happening happening for me again too, intermittently. When this thread was first started, I was on WIndows 7 with outdated browsers. But a couple of months ago, I upgraded to a brand new PC with Windows 10 and currently updated browsers. The IG overlaps started again in the past week or two.

Cannot embed tweets -- this is happening for me and others. @Vee said on another thread that he cannot embed tweets on the first try, but it works if he tries multiple times over and over until it works. He said that for one post, it took him twelve tries to get one tweet to embed. I've tried over and over with no success at all.
