There are 2 or 3 special elections in the next six weeks. (They are all currently Republican districts, but you never know). If all three special elections occur and go to the Democrats, it will flip the House. Definite planned election: The 2025 Florida's 1st congressional district special election will be held on April 1, 2025 to fill a vacant seat in Florida's 1st Congressional District. The seat was previously occupied by Matt Gaetz who resigned from the House Nov. 13, 2024, when nominated as US Attorney General (but Gaetz later withdrew himself for consideration as Atty Gen) Definite planned election: The 2025 Florida's 6th congressional district special election scheduled to be held on April 1, 2025. The seat became vacant following the Jan. 20, 2025 resignation of Republican Michael Waltz, who was chosen by President Donald Trump to be his nominee for White House national security advisor. Probable election: The 2025 New York's 21st congressional district special election. The seat is expected to become vacant as Republican incumbent Elise Stefanik was chosen by president Donald Trump to be his nominee for U.S. ambassador to the United Nations (though as of February 13, 2025, she has not been confirmed by the Senate for the position).

I, too, felt that Rory Gibson as Noah may have looked nice, but his acting seemed literally sleepy and mopey. I just could not engage.

I have never seen Guiding Light, I just posted the video on this GL thread because it's interesting. He specifies in the video that this is a piece of the mantel -- related to their wedding, "they had carved their names always forever". Hopefully what he said is enough to go on for those familiar with the storylines. I just think it's interesting that P&G had that "artifact" as he called it, in some sort of archive or storage or something.

Wally is currently recurring on both Days and GH. There was a brief period when Wally was on contract on DAYS (taping 2015, and airing 2015-2016). Yeah I think that Cady's IG post (from upthread) with the bangs ... might possibly be an old picture from 2010. I had initially assumed that pic with the bangs was new. But now I'm not sure. I thought she was saying "here's I what I look like today now, just like I was in 2010", but actually she might have meant "I now have a similar hair color to what I had in 2010". It does seem that she now has sort of a few bangs, wispy/subtle on the sides of her forehead, but not strong bangs like years ago? Here it is again from upthread. Cady McClain is a surprise to me. I find this all surprising because, like Kimberly McCullough, Cady seemed to have transitioned into directing. Cady acted in a one-woman show at a summer theatre a couple of years ago, but generally didn't do much acting. I noticed that Dave Ryan was included within the nominations for writing teams for *both* DAYS and Y&R, as he was part of the writing teams for both shows during different parts of the year. He was probably supposed to say that ATWT was one of P&G's soaps and that P&G had been doing soaps for 72 years, but he messed it up, or the script they gave him messed it up.
