  1. You're right. He would have a ball with Quinn. She'd be kidnapping people left and right 😂
  2. If Ron Carlivati wrote for B&B, we'd finally get some gay characters, but one of them would be a villain that would blackmail a straight guy (probably Thomas or Wyatt) into bed, but eventually he would be reformed. And Hope would somehow get DID. As for characters that he would write well for, I can't really decide since B&B hasn't really been that campy these last few years. But I do think that he had been writing in the late 80s and 90s, he would have had a great handle on the Spectra crew, particularly Sally and Darla.
  3. That party reeked of a lack of budget. For what it was, I thought it was ok but I also think it would've been a lot better if the show just had a little more money to spend.
  4. This was my jam when I was a kid😂😂
  5. I'm surprised that EJ didn't already know about Sami and Lucas. I really thought they were going to have him already know, and secretly plotting revenge against them. I like it when I don't immediately figure out the storyline on soaps.
  6. Why? Because that's the price you pay for killing people for a living 😂 And, I need Rebecca to be with Jonathan, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. Regardless, I am enjoying the show right now, except for the Austin stuff, of course.
  7. Got to keep in mind though, most subsequent producers/writers probably didn't know about all of the terrible things that Rachel did. They probably just knew that she was a troublemaker who was reformed. Gary Tomlin even admitted that he didn't study Rachel and Alice's history enough in order to write effectively for Alice in 1984-85
  8. Agreed. The pool set looks great, and it's always nice to see a soap that has money to spend.
  9. Haha... I started tuning in the summer after you. The first episode I saw was when Luis and Sheridan's boat exploded. And I really enjoyed the show back then. But those later years, even though there were still things that I l liked, was were just so all over the place. The constant non-exits of characters, Chad suddenly gay/bi, Sheridan as a villain (which I always felt would've worked had they not made her a Beth-like villain) and then DirecTV. Lol it's kind of sad.
  10. Has there been any word on whether or not GV's return is temporary or permanent?
  11. JJ gave an interview with SoapCentral not too long ago in which he said he would love to come back, but that the show hasn’t reached out to him. As long as Franco was and now Finn is in the picture, I don’t see Lucky coming back at all
  12. Haha that would be a clever twist: Allie leaves Tripp for Chanel, so he decides to start dating guys as a result
  13. The cringe is real lol More and more I’ve been wondering how this show is still ahead of Days and GH in the ratings.
  14. Poor Tripp’s gonna be in for a rude awakening soon. I am enjoying this storyline though. All three of them are doing a great job.
  15. Yeah. The writing did start to get really sloppy around that time. They spent years building up Martin as this great guy who loved his family, but with the awful rewrite with Katherine coupled with the writing that came after, it told me that Martin really was just a coward
  16. Yeah. It was sort of like the turning point in Passions. So many storylines that drove the show for years finally reached a climax.
  17. The same night where Antonio died, Kay found out she couldn’t have anymore children, Miguel and Charity left town and Sheridan and Luis went to Mexico to get Paloma and ended up running into Martin and Katherine. I’ll never understand the whole 2+ month days 😂😂
  18. Agree with everybody. Getting a OLTL friend to play a legacy character worked great with Amanda Setton, but it’s definitely not going to work now. However, I am looking forward to Tracy’s next visit and the scenes that she’s going to have with him 😂
  19. Nope lol Just another Hope and Liam reunion
  20. The ending of today’s episode was so cheesy and ridiculous... yet I still liked it lol
  21. True. In terms of the writing, I have to say Donna Swajeski's and Peggy Sloane's tenures were pretty solid. I think the problems started before she got there, but bringing her in didn't do AW any favors. From watching the episodes, it seems that in some cases Charlotte Savitz did a lot more damage.
  22. This is true though. It is egotistical and narcissistic of Carly, but that's the way she's always been written. And it is good to see characters doing things that are in character, no matter how bad they may be
  23. I think the constant turnaround of EP's and writers post Paul Rauch also really played a part in why some characters, actors, storylines, etc. flopped.
