It was good back then, but now, it's like enough is enough. I always think back to 2008, when Shawn and Belle left and Philip was broken out of that endless loop. It worked great. There was that brief Philip/Chloe/Lucas triangle, but the character of Philip was practically rejuvenated. Idk what the hell they could do for him now though, but they could have Brady and Chloe mix it up with other characters. If they have to get paid for it, I would assume that whoever manages their estates receive the payment and then it would probably be divided among their beneficiaries

He also played a hot priest on AW 😂 He didn't last that long there either

I thought it was good to see Gabriel, the Angel again. That was a nice nod to history. Whatever happened to him when Marlena was possessed the first time? From what I remember, it seems he disappeared before the possession really took off. Philip is annoying and I hate his friggin tree. If I was walking there with my dog, I'd have him pee on it every time 😂😂 This Brady/Chloe/Philip loop needs to end. As much as I like Brady/Chloe together, all three of them need to be divided up and put into other people's orbits.

My guess is that by 96-97, JER had really started to develop Passions, plus consulting on Sunset Beach at the same time led to the decline in quality on Days. I still find it all extremely watchable though. I really ought to go back and rewatch 90s Days.

This is what the possession needed to be from the very beginning! Yeah, it had its moments that really captured your attention but it was often bogged down with Susan's annoying crap. Today, not only was Susan not annoying, I actually found myself interested in her scenes with EJ. She and DF seemed to have good chemistry and I'm hoping we more scenes of them. And I loved Julie standing up to MarDevil by taking out her rosary and reminding her of the power of love. It was similar to scenes from the original possession: campy, a little hammy, but not stupid and annoying. I didn't laugh once, which is how this storyline is supposed to be. I even found myself getting a little concerned for Doug and Julie. I hope it continues like this until it ends.

I think one of Eugene's ancestors married one of Stefano's. There's not too much information about it. The Bradford family was also cursed as a result of the marriage. 😂
