    From Wiki-

Lesley came to Port Charles in March 1973 and immediately joined the staff at General Hospital. Florence Gray became one of Lesley's first patients. Florence was suffering from stomach ulcers, which she thought were caused by her troubled marriage with Gordon Gray. She started seeing psychiatrist Peter Taylor. Florence told Peter about her husband's affair with one of her students years earlier. He had gotten her pregnant but the child died at birth. Peter told Lesley about Florence's history and is shocked to find out that she was that very student who had the affair with Gordon. He reentered Lesley's life and confessed his love to her. Gordon was about to leave Florence and start a new life with Lesley. She asked Dr. Steve Hardy to be taken off the case. Lesley convinced Gordon to stay with his wife. She was then tormented by the memories of giving birth, and losing her daughter.

She then later learns Laura was alive, and illegally adopted by the Vining family, which is why Amy was her sister.

Does anyone know who is currently playing Florence Gray? I'm trying to see if it is the original actress or is this someone new?

If Santos vs Kane is the starting premise they need Wildwind estate to be prominent and to tap into that mid 90s Era history. They definitely can use SMG as a selling point so I hope she ends up  involved and playing Kendall, sorry Minshew fans

What I don't want to see is unnecessary character assasination and death. The Melrose Place and 90210 CW reboots are prime examples of how killing off the vets or having them act ridiculously out of character regardless of time gone by turns off the viewers and wrecks the show. Don't do dirty by Erica Kane by having her wrecklessly killing people or playing second fiddle to whoever gets the reporter role.

Hopefully, the writers and producers of Pine Valley actually watch episodes of the different eras of All My Children. Unlike, what I heard the writers didn't do for the CW's Melrose Place. I hope most of the new characters have ties to the original characters we've watched for 40 + years and not all new to the canvas. I do hope Sarah Michelle Gellar is involved in some capacity too.

I hope the journalist who comes to town turns out to be Samuel Santos Grey. Maybe he became a journalist like his late adoptive father Edmund and decides he wants to be successful in his own right by digging up issues from the town where he came from?!

If this is a continuation/reboot hybrid perhaps The Martins can be involved too since they're founding family of the show. I wouldn't mind a storyline if the show survives for a second season that perhaps we found out The Martins adopted Tad illegally when he was a child.  And in comes Kim Delaney as Opal along with her teenage daughter Jenny who wants a payoff or she'll threaten to expose The Martins for what they did.

So many possibilities and I'm cautiously optimistic of it all.

Megan Ward as Karen would have been interesting.  They would have had to explain her needless death on PC though.  Nice to see her and IB, but it does annoy me they trot her out as ghostKate now like she was the definitive Kate (which she is-love her), but she wasn't good enough to play that crap DID story KSu did.  A story that really meant nothing in the end except she is now dead for sure and gave her a kid we never see.  Is he dead?  I don't remember.

As far as Ingo/Jax, they should have explored why he keeps choosing these basically unavailable women and how he feels being the constant loser to Sonny.  Honestly, they should really give him that layer where he is still bitter that he lost Brenda and tries to keep saving women until he 'wins' in the end. I am not saying he needs to be hung up on Brenda still, but that drives him to be the savior.  But instead, they don't really give him motivation, he just looks dumb and clueless.  They should also give him thoughts on his childhood and the lies his father told him (Miranda, etc.) and his feelings about his psycho brother.  But alas, I have given more thought to Jax than anyone on GH has since 1996 lol.

I know this isn't the right show forum but Megan Ward would make a good recast for Kristen Forrester on The Bold and The Beautiful. But we know Brad has an attention span of a gnat and would get bored with her within three months.

I paused at that too.  They weren't even together a lot of the year and now are bickering, but they aren't the worst choice.  If I had to pick at veteran Days couple I would have picked Jarlena, but at least it wasn't Ciara/Ben lol.

Can someone tell me who Delores on GH is?  I can't remember her at all and I watch GH, sorta, some of the time lol.  The only Delores I remember is Dante's young, attractive partner at the PCPD about 10 years ago.

Delores is Brando's mother and Mike's cousin who looks like Mo Collins from MadTV.

Only reason I didn’t say B&B is because as long as Brad Bell is HW, there is only so much that show will do. He’s beyond burnt out and we know his routine by now. B&B is the easiest soap to fix and write, but with nobody given the chance it is what it is basically.

Let's just say if anyone was given the opportunity to fix B&B how would you fix it?

I wish Curtis had chemistry with his wife.

The problem with the quad of Michael/Willow/Chase/Sasha is that they are all too nice, and Michael and Willow are both so low key in their acting styles.  If one of them was a scheming nightmare like Sami on DAYS, it would make this at least watchable.  Instead we have boring characters.  They aren’t strong enough performers to sell an all nice quad.

From watchable to forgettable in the course of three episodes.  Which has happened several times for me. The legacy of Frank’s GH.

    All of this!!!

Sasha and Willow are also interchangeable to me.

Tricia Cast slots back in effortlessly, but I'm not sure they'd know what to do with a character like Nina if she returned long-term, not this iteration of Y&R at least.

The wedding episodes were nice and all (mostly for the character interaction and flashbacks that had nothing to really do with the actual couple), but it's not an actual storyline. When they retuned to the actual 'storylines' like the crap with Billy/Adam, I had no interest. Nothing on this show has any depth, and it just keeps on treading the same waters over and over again.

I'm beyond tired of The Adam and The Restless too.

I enjoyed the wedding episodes, but there were some glaring omissions.

    Why Mariah but not Lola?

Where were Billy and Kyle?    Billy has been left out among the Abbott get togethers.  Why wasn't he around when Dina passed?  He wasn't related to her but had interacted with her....

We know why Theo wasn't there O_O....

Was Kyle out getting his hair Poofed?

Cricket, Paul and Lauren' s absences also made no sense---given their friendships with Nina.

Very surprised to hear Cole and Ryan spoken of, but I think that had more to do with AH having zero to do on the canvas.  It really is the perfect time to rest Victoria's character for a few months.  Send her on a business conference and bring her back after XMas.--preferably with a new actress and a new love interest...... <cough> bring in Heather Tom<cough>

Temp Chance---    80% improvement---   time to lose the accent.   You can see MO is livelier in scenes with JG

Just  suggestion    How about a Nina-Traci book collaboration about Genoa City through the years with a handsome book editor and publishing executive for a c-story.   I'd gladly lose Chelsea, Kevin, Theo, Lola, Phyllis (and her Grand Penis er Phoenix) for this story.   Cameos and flashbacks from the Brooks, Fosters, Williams, Newman, Abbott, Barber-Winters, Chancellors, etc. during the story for interviews, memories would make a much better story than half of what happens currently.   Just my thought, but Tricia Cast needs to stick around.

Maybe the book editor could be Cole Howard? Or a new whole character who can be a love interest of Traci or Nina?

Y&R- Colleen and Brad Carlton should not have been killed off, and neither should Drucilla.

DAYS- I thought killing Zach was a mistake then, and I still feel that way.  Not a big fan of Bo being killed off either.

GL- Maureen is more than just a mistake.  It’s the tonal shift that sets a stage for what soaps became after that.  No more sense of home, warmth, and that maternal guidance that used to be common and helped the characters along their way.  I didn’t even see her until later thanks to YouTube, and I totally see what happened and why it was wrong for this genre and that show’s DNA specifically.

But GH was the worst for me-

Alan should not have been killed off.  There was plenty of mileage for that character still.  Same with Georgie, and I’m still mad they killed her, Coop and Logan off.  Emily too.  Just wasteful for future story and there was potential with all of them.

I would've preferred if Georgie would've went away to somewhere like Johns Hopkins for medical school. And have her come back in a few years if you didn't know what to do with her as a character.
