I don't know why the Dobsons had to make the story so convoluted. Terri Garber's character never worked, and the storyline made Cruz look like an idiot. I wonder if this storyline was the Dobsons' way of getting back at Marcy Walker for wanting to leave just when they regained control of the show.

I had a question about Roberta Bizeau's Flame. Why was she fired? I vaguely remember reading something about Roscoe Born sending a f.u. videotape to Rauch and that this caused Rauch to fire Bizeau in retaliation. Flame and Michael were just getting together and I believe Flame was also in Dash's orbit so the Dobsons had plans for her, but Born's actions got her fired since they were a couple.

I have always heard how good Beverlee McKinsey was as Iris, but I've never seen her work. I'm only familiar with Carmen Duncan's Iris, and I found her to be exceptional during the whole "the chief" storyline. Was Iris's story changed to explain Duncan's accent or did Iris already know she was adopted? Sorry if this is a basic question, but I'm new and couldn't find the info.
