Just out of interest, where have you managed to find the 1984 episodes? I would assume that Mark Arnold's episodes on YouTube will end when he leaves the show in Oct/Nov 1983.

Thank you for that. Looks like the pre-1979 episodes were only shown in Canada. So if any tapes exist of pre-1979 episodes would have to be sitting in a vault somewhere in a broadcast archive in Canada? Or were the episodes transmitted by satellite to Canada? Thanks, If the episodes were screened in the late 80s they would most likely be the episodes from 1979 onwards. EON was also screened in South Africa in the late 90s/early 00s when the satellite channel DSTv had a devoted Soap channel. That's how I managed to see some of the 1981 Sky/Raven episodes.

Is there anyway to find out if TEON was screened in other countries, aside from Canada, in the 60s and 70s? If it was shown in other countries, would there not potentially be video copies of these episodes in vaults in some broadcasting archives in another country? I would have thought if the show had been sold internationally the episodes would have had to be copied onto videotape and sent to the overseas broadcaster to screen. I realise I am probably grasping at straws but it frustrates me that so much of this show has been lost.

Out of interest (and apologies if this is the wrong thread to ask this), does anyone know what the original plan for the Marlena serial killer storyline was supposed to be? I recall JER or Corday giving an interview where it was stated that there were supposed to be 4 stages to the whole storyline with it culminating in a courtroom trial. Am I remembering this correctly? Wasn't there also supposed to be something about mirrors related to the plot as to why Marlena was doing the killings?

I hope this is the correct thread to ask this: AMC had over 10 000 episodes yet according to IMDB Susan Lucci only appeared in about 1500 episodes. Considering she was on the show its entire run and was the biggest star, that seems quite a low number of episodes. Is this episode count correct?

As a viewer I really feel like I am missing something in this whole Denise drama. Rinna has really been targeting her this year and it was quite evident from early on in the season. I also feel like their conversations are skirting around something. The Denise/Rinna conversation in this episode about the dinner the night before seemed odd. I really feel like something else must have happened that was not shown on TV or happened off screen because Rinna's reaction/attitude has just been so strange this season.

Thanks for that, very informative. The other thing I don't get is why would Denise sleep with Brandi? Denise is way hotter and this seems like scraping the bottom of the barrel. Also seems suspect that Denise would sleep with someone connected to the RHOBH universe.

RHOBH I'm confused. What is the point of a Cease and Desist if the show is still showing all the revelations about the alleged affair and Brandi Glanville is still mouthing off on social media? I believe Denise but her reactions when she spoke at the dinner table did not look credible and gave me the feeling she was covering up. The way she did that head/neck movement just screamed lying to me. Also when she spoke to Garcelle and said 'no' twice in 2 completely different ways. Even if it were true if I were her I would also lie - it is none of the business of any of these witches. Teddi has to go she is a fragile, thin-skinned and nasty person who believes anything said about her - maybe because deep down she knows it is true? Why did Kyle stick up for Denise saying she was also suffering? Is that to try and deflect attention away from her involvement in this ridiculous story line? Also if Denise was bitching to Brandi about the other women why wouldn't she have said stuff about Kyle? Kyle was the one she clearly had an issue with since the start of the season? Also can someone explain how the editing has been changed? It still feels like this is heading in the direction as insinuated in the premiere trailer with Denise being piled on. Andy previously said the season would go to 20 episodes but since we are already at the Rome trip and we know the reunion has been filmed does anyone know if the episodes have been cut short? And if so is that due to the C+D? Another lost story line: what happened to Kyle's mu-mu collection? It was such a big deal at the start and we hear nothing about her involvement now...

However, Linda Gray, Larry Hagman and Patrick Duffy were really close friends in real life so this was not BTS drama. A lot of times actors say they eat smelly foods for kissing/love scenes so that it is not sexy for them as actors I guess to stop there being any potential romantic sparks. I like Teri but she seems to have had conflicts with most people she has worked with. She had problems with Pierce Brosnan and the director of JB, she did not get along with Dean Cain. I am also sure that I saw footage a few years ago on YouTube of Teri shooting a lot of her later DH scenes on her own and then they were spliced together with the other actors. I think for many scenes she was not shooting opposite many of the other female leads on DH. Didn't Joss handover a lot of the show running in the later seasons of Buffy to Marti Noxon. I remember lots of fans being pissed off by her vision of the show. Hard to know what is the truth!

Does this mean resumption of production is imminent or just that they are ready to be cleaned when that decision is made? Any inside knowledge on how Days will cope with a different filming schedule. I assume they will no longer be able to film as many episodes per week as they were doing?
