Right?! That’s what I mean about the writing not being there. We’ve seen her in 2 episodes (maybe 3) and she’s been nothing but a character Dani turns to when she needs help. we, as an audience, know absolutely nothing about Pamela. Married? Single? Kids? Work? Mob-related? 🤣 Im eager to find out more. And has others have said above, Eva is definitely falling for her family…the much more sane one that doesn’t include her actual mother. I thought she was gonna RIP off those buttons!!!

I know some people are having issues with Cady’s performance. She has a decades long proven track record of some of the best acting on daytime, IMO. Right now, I see an actress making strong choices to help flesh out a character who has NOTHING written on the page. I’m assuming it’s the last minute insert into the story. If weeks of script are written and the writers are attempting to shoehorn in Cady’s character, that’s gonna take some time to right itself.

THIS!!!! although I am enjoying the character of Haley finally standing up for herself. Unfortunately, the actress can’t pull that off either.

I watch live on Paramount Plus when I can. If not, I watch it later that night. I’m about 50/50 for the first three weeks.

It is still on Plex. The commercials don’t bother me personally. The episode still runs less than an hour. Although I’m enjoying FC so much - first time watcher, up to mid-Season 6 - that I’d buy the seasons if they’re not too much.

Add me to the Dani train. Is she a villain? Is she just snapping over what happened to her? She’s obvs completely obsessed with him. And I am here. For. It! I can’t stand Haley. For me, I can’t get past the actress. As long as she’s playing Haley, I’ll never have sympathy for her. The writing can only do so much.

Yes - that’s her name! Thank you. Hopefully, I’ll remember it now. I almost have everyone memorized at this point. Ashley’s mom is the only one I think. Oh, and Martin and Smitty’s kids. I’ll get there…

Yeah, as others are posting, I’m not sure if Eva is anybody’s daughter on this show. Except maybe that rando character who said she never got married and had kids.

Nothing. I bet the episode ends with her somehow getting to the podium but it’ll be a fake out/nothing will be said. It’s too early.

I’ve already forgotten I’m watching a “black soap opera.” I’m just watching a soap opera…and a good one at that. Reminds me of AW, ATWT, and GL. (oh, and even though they’re not on today, can Ashley and Derek please be written off quickly? I don’t understand the point of either character.)

Along with the actor, I’m really disliking the character of Martin. I’m still curious to find out what he did that is causing him nightmares and Bill to be able to use it as leverage against the family. I wonder if the writers think that reveal is going to make the audience care for his character more?

Martin isn’t the best actor, for sure. But I’m loving Smitty more and more. AND we’ve now had 2 kisses. Breaking the ice gently for those who might not like seeing such things.

This is must-see TV today for sure! Am living for Dani’s outfit. THAT HAT!!!

Great idea to recap the week for those who might have heard the buzz about the show but hadn’t watched the first 5 episodes. oh, Dani, Dani, Dani. You crazy, girl. And why isn’t Anita standing up and telling her stop her behavior/walk in front of the gun?

I'd bet just that - either she aimed it away just to be dramatic. OR, she only put blank shells in the gun. She wanted to scare the crap out of Bill and Haley.

I love that, with Nicole being a therapist, she can calmly and gently tell someone the truth. But I get the sene Dani doesn’t like hearing the truth. And as others have mentioned, it looks as if Martin has indeed killer someone. Does Smitty know this? And who was he on the phone with? Is he having an affair?

Candy McClain, soap opera royalty, has arrived! Love that they all wore black. AND we got a drink thrown in someone’s face. (I’ve secretly always wanted to do that to someone. 🤣)
