  1. LOL - what can I say? The memories!! If I remember correctly, the Jamaica storyline with Hayley/Mateo/Julia/Noah/Taylor was panned by the critics (right?), but as a 12 year old boy, I thought it was so fun, sexy and exciting! I also thought that episode of Laurel's assassination was perfectly executed by the directors. So intense and shocking. That was such a good era of AMC! The only thing terrible from that time was Dixie's hair hahaha - I think that was her worst look of all time, but I still was here for the Tad/Dixie/Liza triangle.
  2. Hahaha - I noticed that this morning too and thought the same thing - they're really putting their eggs in Leah's basket!
  3. So does this mean we have 2 black housewives coming? That's great!
  4. Very sad to see this - prayers to his family and friends!
  5. Hahaha yes!! It was so memorable for me, and Dixie was totally horny for that scheming Craig. So was I
  6. So as a young, impressionable man, I always thought Tad/Dixie were THE couple. I was inspired to find that same love. Tad was charismatic, Dixie was cute and vulnerable. They'll always be my #1. Growing up, I had this very vivid memory of watching Tad and Dixie dancing very provocatively to Michael Bolton's "When a Man Loves a Woman" with my mom one night just before bed - and I've always had in my mind it was Tad and Dixie. Well, a friend came over and played this song tonight and I decided to Google this clip to see if it was online or not. I haven't seen it since it aired in 1990-something. Come to find out, it's online and it wasn't Dixie and Tad. It was Dixie and Craig!!! Which, honestly, I loved Dixie and Craig too - they were hot too and I was so sad for Dixie when Tad was blown off that bridge, that I wanted her to find true love. She was NOT thinking about Tad that night. Well come to find out, my memory was wrong all along and it was Craig instead of Tad, but this scene on AMC is still truly one of the hottest, most memorable and impressionable scenes as a young man growing up. Sexier than any Hayley/Mateo beach romp scene that I also loved: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z9UD_NvcKn8&feature=youtu.be (I don't know how to embed YouTube videos into these posts, but go to that link and watch! Memories!!!)
  7. Sadly, it doesn't come back until mid-October. My DVR also picked up a new episode tonight, but it's just "Watch with Kelly and Shannon" on repeats and then BH/NYC (they're doing this with Southern Charm people too throughout the week) - so not really new, but DVRs are picking it up as new. I didn't think Peggy fit in with the group, but loved her house scenes with her husband/kids. That Season had some quality/iconic moments, but overall not my favorite at all. I do think/hope Kelly has a bit of a downfall. She's really come out politically over COVID and annoyed Andy and many Bravo fans with her comments.
  8. The race thing I'm not getting with Nene. I don't know what all happened behind the scenes, but Nene posted today that of all the current OG stars, she's the only black OG and she's the first not to get picked up for a full season. She has a picture of Kyle, Ramona and Teresa and said the following (see below), but that she was only give a 6 episode offer, so she's not getting equal treatment. What she fails to mention is Vicki's demotion and subsequent firing as an OG. Same with Luann - she is an OG and was demoted to friend one season. Tamra/Kandi/etc - sure, they aren't OGs from Season 1, but Tamra has been on more seasons than Nene and got a lower episode offer and Kandi has been on more seasons than Nene and still gets full offers. There is no unfair treatment, and if Nene wants to present facts, she needs to present ALL the facts. 0
  9. I was only 12 at the time, but I remember having a huge crush on Dr. Kinder 😂. While I thought the storyline of Kinder and Erica/Skye/Janet was wildly entertaining and campy, I never thought he could recover from it to become a Hayward-type.
  10. Yeah, I have zero sympathy for Nene. She is the biggest hypocrite in Bravo's history and she's done all of this to herself. She's not smart enough to understand how to stay on the show. Her castmates don't really like her, she refuses to film with certain people, she's physically aggressive with production staff, and she's always fighting her contract every single season. She's so reactive emotionally in a negative, fighting sort of way. Why should they keep her? I do think as a friend, Wendy was not at all nice on WWHL, but I don't really get her beef with Andy/Bravo or why this is now a racial thing. Are we never supposed to bring up past housewives or other Bravolebs that are no longer on shows? Why does he have to treat Nene differently - everything and everyone is fair game once it's aired and copyrighted.
  11. Ok this BH reunion is giving me NYC S4 reunion vibes. Rinna = Jill; Teddi = Kelly; Erika = Cindy; Kyle = Luann; Denise = Alex. It's gross. I've never disliked a housewife as much as I dislike Kelly Bensimon - and Teddi gave me those feelings at this reunion. Neither are entertaining, they're just miserable bitches. At least Rinna/Jill can be entertaining in a weird way.
  12. And technically Kyle Richards, although I do consider BH a “phase 2” show in the franchise along with DC and Miami. Potomac and Dallas of course don’t count, which I consider phase 3.
  13. Garcelle inadvertently told Jenny McCarthy on her podcast that she’s returning for Season 11. She mentioned she hasn’t talked to Rinna since reunion but plans to next month when they start filming. She plans to move forward and start anew. Boring.
  14. Agree Taoboi - great Potomac episode last night. Karen drunk was hilarious and it almost felt like she wasn't aware she was being filmed so let herself go a bit. I'm usually Team Monique, but last night I was not. She needed to calm down. Candiance finally did something right for once - she wasn't in the wrong in this situation. I hope this isn't what leads to the big fight because I can't back Monique on that.
  15. Agreed, great reunion and bombshell. But this makes me think, hasn't there been at least 3 scenes from NYC trailers with Dorinda that were eventually cut? That one, one where she's holding a big wine glass, and then another where she's yelling... and then a Jill Zarin scene. I don't understand why they cut so much out after they release a season trailer. Seems odd.
  16. I think she's talking about Brandi. Meaning, Brandi 'won' and Denise 'lost'...
  17. The only thing I've heard about RHOD is that they 1) will address Brandi's asian-mocking video from last year head on and 2) there have been many themed parties at their various houses. I have heard that the new housewife, Tiffany?, is a standout, so I'm hopeful there.
  18. That damn bird on Potomac has me LOL'ing... what an MVP. Karen dragging Gizelle's fashions - everything. That final dinner scene was so funny. Great season so far.
  19. Damn! While I don't think she's wrong about his lifestyle choices haha... she just put the final nail in her Bravo coffin. Wow, I hope she realizes that she's done.
  20. Emily just announced on IG that OC is coming back in October. Guessing we'll have Potomac, OC and SLC this fall/winter. I could see NJ and Atlanta starting at the new year, with Atlanta probably replacing Potomac and NJ replacing OC when it finished it's smaller season. Then Dallas maybe spring, after SLC finishes. Then NYC and BH again...
  21. Totally agree - it's an entertaining toxicity. Season 4, especially the reunion, will always go down as the most toxic season of any franchise for me. Kelly, Cindy and sometime Jill were just SO unlikeable and unbearable, especially in the way they treated and bullied Alex at the reunion.
  22. I find it so irritating that Rinna lies straight to Denise's face about when she was told the rumor (not in Rome when Denise was still in the air, thanks to Bravo's flashback, it was clearly in the car in California days before). Then, she has the audacity to call out Denise lying about when she may or may not have talked to Brandi before Kyle's party. I do think Denise is tripping up a bit to defend herself and it's not going well. I also find it hard to believe that Brandi told her she's had sex with others at that table... I also find it odd that all these women are so "tortured" and "uncomfortable" by this sex rumor that has NOTHING to do with them. In natural RHOBH fashion, they take a small insignificant thing and blow it out of proportion for an entire season. If this were NYC, it'd be dealt with playfully in 2 episodes.
  23. Thanks for posting! Those are pretty solid numbers for Potomac. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure this is the first premiere that stood on it's own with no lead-in. Usually Potomac always premieres with Atlanta, M2M or a Shahs lead-in. Let's hope they can keep it up. NYC tanked a few weeks ago, but I think it had more to do with it being over the long July 4th holiday weekend more than anything. The numbers are back up to their season average and it's been just slightly above those Potomac numbers - hovering around the 0.4 / 1.3 million marks. BH is having a pretty good year - usually always first in Wed cable ratings, hovering around 0.6 / 1.6 million marks. I'd have to fact check this, but I feel like the ratings are higher this season on average than last season.
  24. The finale lip sync was awful too. I'm happy with the winner - much deserved IMO - but what a lackluster finale.
  25. NYC was really good last night, because it finally featured some sobering storyline moments - Luann with the former convicts - Leah and her sister - etc. I thought Ramona totally overreacted, which just fueled Sonja/Leah to act the way they did. I thought Sonja was disrespectful from the jump though - I get her issues, but do it on another night that isn't Ramona's birthday party. Finally watching BH - I think I believe most of what Brandi said, but I think it's real f'ed up of her to throw Denise under the bus like that. She clearly is selfish and took the opportunity to be a big figure on this season over keeping her friendship with Denise. I do think she was likely coaxed by the producers, Kim and Kyle to do it though. She's not a good friend to choose airtime over friendship.
