  1. Inserting Stefano’s essence into Steve”s brain was a good idea? Turning Ben the serial killer into the young romantic lead was a good idea? Double doppelgängers (Hattie & Bonnie) at the same time was a good idea? Abby’s DID? Body & Soul?
  2. I am a fan of Alison Hossack and enjoyed Olivia when she was given something interesting to do. The issue was not Hossack or David Bailey. The issue was that Donna Swajeski did not have a vision for them. If Harding Lemay has remained as Head Writer I believe both Olivia and Russ would have had a more significant and longer lasting presence.
  3. Amy and Traci’s reunion dinner was offscreen. I was really looking forward to it. Huge disappointment.
  4. Were Barbara Norris, Adam Thorpe and Stephen Jackson the older characters written out under Marland? Were there others?
  5. I don't understand what you mean about Another World before 1975.
  6. I tried but I am not up to the task!
  7. I tried to come up with 5 and I could not even narrow it down to 5 for each decade. I really miss this show - well the show up until 1996 anyway.
  8. It’s amazing that Eddie and Mike are still putting so much effort into the AWHP 26 years after the cancellation. It’s an incredible archive and the site is laid out very well.
  9. I don't know if I am ready to call him a villain but I suspect he wants a job at Diane's firm to help his father get info on Sonny's crimes. Hopefully Marco will be a grey character whose conscience will make him struggle with helping out his father.
  10. I think it would have.
  11. @Tishy-Lish keep sharing your thoughts and opinions. I hope you did not feel like we were ganging up on you. We get a bit passionate on here!
  12. I love how everyone came together in defense of Susan Seaforth Hayes! She is a legend and we need more vets and Hortons onscreen not less!
  13. Hi Donna. Eddie has posted the updates to celebrate the AWHP anniversary. Thanks for the heads up that it was coming. Lots of good stuff. He also backs up what you have been saying about Marley's rape being dictated by the network and P&G wanting the Dobsons as headwaiters. http://www.anotherworldhomepage.com/awhp30.htm
  14. It may he difficult for Taj Bellow to film GH scenes if he is still in South Africa. https://michaelfairmantv.com/tajh-bellows-first-role-after-general-hospital-revealed/2025/03/07/
  15. Wasn’t it Jackie Marler who died in the plane crash?
  16. I didn’t recognize David Bailey as Russ in 1989 but I was still excited that he was brought back.
  17. I believe Roman meant he knows the feeling about hatred towards EJ.
  18. I always thought Maisie should have been a spoiler for them but Vince and Mary were always to be the end game.
  19. It was a big missed opportunity not keeping Kim Langford. Having a single Ginger in the cul de sac would have been very interesting. Can you image Karen’s reaction if Ginger and Eric had an affair? I know difficult budget decisions had to be made but I would rather have seen reduced episode counts for the leads instead of losing Laura.
  20. Interesting 3 part discussion between Constance McCashin and Kim Langford.
  21. I believe Doug Marland could have brought Another World back to the top of the ratings if paired with a strong EP and if NBC let him do his thing.
  22. I completely agree with you about Field and MacArthur.
  23. I finished Tom Lisanti’s book and I really enjoyed it. I love that the cast and crew still have such love and respect for Texas after all of these years. The timing of the book’s release was perfect for me as I am rewatching Texas on YouTube. I am currently watching episodes where Elliot Carrington and Jeb Hampton have just been introduced. For me the show is starting to find its groove. The Tanquir story is over, Paige is scheming, Reena and Max are fighting their attraction to each other, Dennis’ paternity is about to blow up and some unlikeable characters are soon to be written out (Dawn, Clipper). I believe that if the Corringtons had been given a full year they may have been able to get the ratings up a bit. Although they really wrote a lot a violence against women. It’s a bit uncomfortable to watch.
