  1. Thank you! Your comments are consistent with what I have heard from others who watched from the beginning. Now we just need to find those episodes for the marathon!
  2. I have referred to this site on the web archive. Some great info is still available on it. https://web.archive.org/web/20000823060234/http://lavender.fortunecity.com/casino/403/ There is also this one. https://community.fortunecity.ws/lavender/casino/403/
  3. What I would give to be able to watch May 4, 1964 through December 31, 1979.
  4. Thank you! I often thought this sounded like one of those times Lemay was correct but since I was not watching I could not be sure. Lenore and Robert were brilliant so we were lucky to get to watch them shine and might not have had the opportunity if Walter was still around.
  5. Was anyone on here watching when Val Dufour was on Another World? I’m curious if you think Walter was worth keeping or if you agree with Mr. Lemay that he had been written into a corner and killing him off was the best option.
  6. Yes that was my main reaction. I am aware of how close she was to her mother and her husband. This is your reaction to my comment? Completely overblown and shame on you for trying to say my comment is in anyway disrespectful to the grief Linda had after their deaths and is still living with. If you are looking for an argument go after someone else.
  7. I love Linda Dano but we did not need to see her mother and husband. There were so many others there to put the focus on.
  8. I suspect Clarice and Larry were intended to be in the 25th Anniversary episodes but instead were brought back for Mac’s funeral. This is just my speculation.
  9. Yea and Grant would be written like an Austin Powers villain by Ron.
  10. I want the big boss to be Grant Putnam and I want Henry Dalton to be his son. But I know it won’t happen.
  11. I was able to accept Jake remaining alive but he should have been treated like an outcast by everyone. Paulina would have the only one to eventually accept him which would put her at odds with everyone else. Jake and Vicky should NEVER have become a couple and Marley should NEVER have become obsessed with him. So gross.
  12. A “dud”? I enjoyed it. It also lead to Paulina and Jake getting together, amazing performances by Anne Heche & Tom Eplin and the returns of Kathleen & Carl.
  13. While it was out of character for Gwen I do think it explained Evan's backstory and moved his story along. They also explained why Gwen and Willis ended up bitter and angry with Rachel. There were much worse plots on the show over the years.
  14. It has been a while but I remember it as an accident and not Gwen purposely trying to kill Rachel.
  15. I just watched Weapons and did not realize until the credits that Cary Christopher (Thomas DiMera) played Alex. I knew he looked familiar but I could not place him. The kid was brilliant. Great movie too.
  16. But that was not the question I was answering.

  18. The rumour was that Gwen’s scenes were originally written for Willis. When Leon Russom did not return they gave the scenes to Dorothy Lyman. The scenes made sense for Willis but less sense for Gwen. Although I blame most of it on Dorothy’s performance. She plays it a bit too over the top for the Gwen I remember. Regardless it gave important backstory on Evan.
  19. Or don’t bring Hilary Edson on as Stacey.
  20. With the proper set up and good writing most popular characters can be brought back with success.
  21. Anna Holbrook was brilliant but that doesn’t mean Heineman would not also have been.
  22. How do you know bringing back Laurie Heineman would not have worked? She was a talented actress.
