  1. Now trending (sigh):
  2. Mini OLTL reunion:
  3. Rose Leslie discusses how she and fiance Kit Harington keep GOT secrets:
  4. I had a feeling last night that Tillerson coming out and speaking on the nerve agent attack - which Trump and Sarah Sanders both refused to acknowledge when pressed yesterday - would be the tipping point. Trump is in way too deep with Russia, and it can't just be him. It's a lot of the GOP.
  5. Tillerson condemns Russian terrorism. Trump finally fires him:

The most Eccleston has ever said - AFAIK - is that he didn't approve of the production process on Series 1 and how the crew were treated. Being very much from a working class background and being exceptionally proud of his roots, he took great offense to that. The more specific persistent rumors indicate this may primarily have had to do with the block of filming for the dreadful "Aliens in London/World War III" two-parter directed by a guy who's never worked on the show again, along with some of the producers at the time (I think Phil Collinson?), but I don't know if that anecdote is true.

Christopher Eccleston tells The Guardian the BBC blacklisted him.
  8. He'll walk all that back tomorrow, too.
  9. I hear the first episode - the Trump v. Hillary/Roseanne v. Jackie bout we're all dreading - is very broad in how it handles the issue. Then other folks say no, it boils down to the old Roseanne/Jackie sibling conflict, which would be nice if it's true. I don't know. To be honest a lot of new socially relevant sitcoms these days are very broad or earnest, and Roseanne never shied away from those occasionally artificial 'you go girl' moments, even in some of its better years. The new One Day at a Time is often both broad and earnest at times - and though I used to hate it, I don't mind broad right now if it has something more substantive behind it and a good heart. If they can manage that with this revival, and the reviews so far seem straight down the middle on the early episodes, then we'll see. I hope so.
  10. I was not expecting to see Mackenzie Phillips in episode 8 of S1. Always a pleasure to see her these days - I loved her on that silly Disney(?) sitcom So Weird in HS. She grew into a lot of authority as she got older and got clean post-ODAAT IMO, going back even to her appearances as Dylan's drug counselor on 90210. Meanwhile, Alex is apparently doing some faith-based film with Chrissy Metz from This Is Us - directed by, of all people, Roxann Dawson from Star Trek: Voyager. I mean, he can get better off-season work but so can Metz, so...
  11. Haven't seen this one: ABC's promos are way too OTT. This one definitely indicates a Halloween episode of some sort - and Becky seems to still be waitressing:
  12. That's really cute. The new kids fit right in. Where will poor Jackie sit?

Alan Cumming will play King James I in the upcoming series.
  14. That trailer's better than the first one, so I'm pleased with that. Nice to see another Halloween episode, or so it seems - in April? Mark Jr. really has inherited Nana Mary's fashion sense.
  15. A longer look at Parker Posey and Ignacio Serrichio in Netflix's new Lost in Space revival:
  16. I also never liked those teens - except Kelsey.
  17. I'm pretty sure she's already out and done with AMC's bullshit, but Khary Payton is not mincing words on the contract/pay dispute with Lauren Cohan:
  18. New Lynch interview in Cahiers du Cinema, translated by Reddit.
