She won't be the only one: CNN just called Republicans a "nihilist death cult."

My poor mother is crying. She's been so hopeful and positive and working so hard for so long, she's worked since Election Day 2016 to mobilize voters and seniors, even when I was crushed the morning after, and she's finally very upset. I'm just trying to talk her down.

My mother worked on Capitol Hill over 20 years in the House and Senate. I thank God she's retired.
