  1. I'm deep in the thick of the summer of '86 in my Marland binge, but I think I'll skip ahead to that '87 ep just for today in honor of Brown. (Always nice to see a HQ episode, anyway)
  2. Let's not forget the reaction when Victor trended on Twitter not long ago.
  3. Joseph Cross (Casey Hughes, ATWT), who's gone on to a very storied career in film and TV, is in Paul Thomas Anderson's new film Licorice Pizza once again playing gay.
  4. Was this Craig or Steve, or someone else?
  5. An awful shock. What a legend. I'll pick up my Marland binge this weekend in her honor. RIP.
  6. The Wyndham's Thanksgiving parade is a cute touch (and I will allow the mention of OLTL Christmas favorite "Christina Comes Home for Christmas"). They SORASed Danny and Rocco a lot, though. Too much, IMO. I keep thinking DZ and KM should have more chemistry than their actual scenes. Some scenes work and some are just painful. They need to make CM regrow the beard immediately. He was so hot with it. He looks old without it.
  7. So happy for Sonequa. I need to watch Season 3.
  8. I'd never heard that but at this point nothing re: Joe Stuart would surprise me.
  9. Pure foolishness from some folks who should know better. Yeah, yeah, you work with the dude for years, I don't care, this is life or death:
  10. I've found Steve to be politically vocal, misogynistic and racist all at different times. He's just less vocal about it than Ingo. He's trying to play it humble when the fact is he put people at risk and thought the show would cave for him like it always has. I'm not beefing with you, I just have absolute contempt for the man and have for many years. But even I didn't think he would be this selfish and foolish. I believed it when people claimed he was vaxxed months ago.
  11. If he had class he would've stopped putting people in danger months ago and not blamed the show for his getting COVID. LW has survived three cancelled soaps but exposing her to COVID is a new level. And neither he nor Ingo are the only ones in the cast who tried to claim a religious exemption, BTW.
  12. Yes, girls, it's a Steve Burton deepfake.
  13. Eagerly awaiting @j swift's 5-part thesis about why he was right all along when I get off my plane for Thanksgiving
  14. If GH wanted to respond to Variety and Kate Aurthur, they would do so. They're not Soap Opera Digest or Daytime Confidential lying down on the job to keep access.
  15. Variety: Kate Aurthur is a pretty serious reporter for Variety, and her being stumped is surprising: I feel like GH is in denial and/or cowed by their aged, conservative Facebook-adjacent audience re: Sonny and Jason tbh. Just trying to avoid acknowledging any of this. I think they're desperate to reach a new deal with Steve to vax and are hoping to avoid releasing the truth until they can make one and then claim it's just 'a break'. That or they'll dump it on Friday.
  16. Valentin has been corny since Moment 1 on this show long before he began singing Billy Joel songs to the American public and crying over this baby or that lisping toddler. JPS is a very talented actor who I know people love from his long history in daytime but to this day I don't understand how and why this guy is still here or a key lead.
  17. I wonder how long they intend to string this out without commenting. Even Deadline has wind now.
  18. These 'caves' look worse than '80s Doctor Who. Embarrassing. If that cheap cave-in with him standing in the middle of the stage in a maintenance worker coverall was really Jason's exit what an ignoble way to go out. They'll be very stupid if they really let Cameron shave that beard. He looks amazing.
  19. I looked into it and I'm pretty sure the fan is referring to something they said on the latest iteration of some Patreon exclusive supplemental podcast thing they do in addition to their main one. I'll be damned if I'm subscribing to Steve Burton's Patreon!
  20. Grain of salt, anecdotal, but this is floating around and I didn't see it here (and it's from one of his stans):
  21. Didn't Ursula die onscreen or am I wrong? It would've been fun to see Jill Larson pop back over briefly in recent years, were the shows still around - he's had a career resurgence in genre work like starring in the title role in the popular The Taking of Deborah Logan (a 70s TV movie horror title if ever I heard one), and is also in the new Amazon horror film The Manor with Barbara Hershey. Jill is so lovely as a person but can be scary as hell.
  22. Yeah, there's no chance anything with GH was done without GH. That being said, I believe what I've heard. Whether it's changed since then I've no idea.
