  1. The key for me (midway through the run, anyway) is the show still hasn't lost its domestic slice of life stuff at the cul-de-sac, or the vignettes with the families, kids and neighbors, especially the MacKenzies. That's what makes it all continue to click so well. The down to earth identity exists side by side with the upward mobility and business intrigue, because you saw where they all they came from, you saw all these former housewives from Season 1 become career women. That's why it feels bracing but still organic when suddenly Laura, Abby and grown-up Eric are all hanging out at Lotus Point.
  2. Well, by peak I mean S6 is the best season thus far IMO, but that's me lol. I think Sumner is a fascinating character, even when I don't like him. He changed the show, yes, but in a positive way.
  3. That was posted yesterday, but here is more from today:
  4. Counting the minutes til Alex Thompson breathlessly launders this 'story' from the right-wing Free Beacon too:
  5. I think Knots S6 is the peak so far for me, but I am still only midway through the show. Amazon's main app should run FreeVee stuff fine, though.
  6. Plex appears to be running its app on recent (as in, 4K) LG TVs, at a cursory Google search. I couldn't speak for others. This delay is just as well for me, I needed to get back to the Dallas dream season anyway.
  7. The web version isn't that tricky tbh. At least not for me. I've had Plex on my Roku TV for years though.
  8. Agreed, but Plex is free and really not hard to use. Just sign up and add the app to your TV or use it on your desktop.
  9. It has them listed, yes, but when you go inside each season only the first 5 have actual content. I'm on the same desktop interface. It even shows thumbnails but so far the only seasons that have episodes to watch are 1-5. I'm sure that will change soon.
  10. Exciting news, but it doesn't seem to be coming up for me on Plex beyond S5. I'm sure it'll be up soon.
  11. Thus far, no. It starts rerunning (briefly, anyway) live on Saturday morning here in the US though. I've always meant to check it out so I'll watch a few eps.
  12. Forgive the source (and the paywall):
  13. Recording stuff off Plex's livestream requires a paid subscription, not the FAST stuff.
  14. Are we talking about the pre-episode teasers? They're there in Seasons 3 and 4 from what I saw at a glance. I went to check out how Sid's death episode and some of the early Karen/Mack stuff looked quality-wise.
  15. So close! Hope they put up the rest soon. I checked Prime/FreeVee, no sign of it on demand there yet but I imagine that's next.
  16. I think we will take both NC and GA (again). We've been up in NC in some other polling recently. It's tight but I suspect it happens. Nevada, I think it's possible. The media has scrambled to try to tamp down the Arlington mess for Trump but I don't think it's going to work. I appreciate you referring to RFK as 'the whale decapitator'. What a tale that was.
  17. It's not exactly a secret Kelly was speaking out against the show re: the Jason/Drew storyline, or that FV would not have appreciated that. Their having beef isn't likely a surprise to anyone.
  18. There was always going to be an outcry, but Sam as a character has been a tired afterthought for years so I'm not sure it's going to be enough. I think if you'd tried this ten years ago it'd be different. I just don't think there's enough of them alone to make a difference, and it's not like they're great at coalition building with other fanbases, case in point what was mentioned above. Plus they've been dragging Nancy for supposed slights against Kelly for ages (mostly imaginary IMO) so there goes the Alexis fanbase. And a lot of Jason fans ultimately don't care about anything but Jason. But hey, if you get enough of those prominent fans who fancy themselves insiders and still are reminiscing on misty memories of Kelly's work in the 2000s, who knows, a reprieve could happen. I just don't see this turning into a Genie or Becky Herbst situation. But anything that fúcks up Frank's standing works for me. That much is true. (Though I don't think he's really taken any damage for ME and RH, lol) Maybe after ousting Mulcahey and reinstalling CVE he thinks he's invulnerable.
  19. It wouldn't shock me if they auditioned one but I don't know of it. (And poor Nic Robuck/James just seems happy living life out with his husband these days.) It's enough though that Connie/Kate's long-lost son with lisping Scully Jr., the tiresome Trey, was literally Ford xeroxed onto this show - cocky young reality show producer with a damaged past. Fortunately he only lasted about six months when they got bored and switched gears.
  20. The only consolation there was the signpost in the finale that Jessica and Brody would likely get back together, as he visited her at Llanfair. I assume they're together today. And I think the Fords were both Frank and Ron. They didn't give it up with Ford and acknowledge the fan hatred of him til the final two weeks. Rylan's entry story as Lulu on GH was very clearly Ron redoing the Teen Jessica disaster at OLTL - Lulu comes out of a trauma thinking she is single, young and 'wild', divested of her husband and hanging out with new guys. They really were trying hard in that period to make non-actor Milo happen because they liked his abs. It was mindboggling to watch, especially since Teen Jessica was insanely unpopular at OLTL and they had to know it. This cheap gimmick to try to reset what he sees as a 'boring' character is something Ron has returned to more than once. Mark Lawson never worked for me on GH. He stuck out like a sore thumb, and I loved Brody. But I think Kelly has done wonderful work with a difficult character on GH.
  21. Attacking Finola or Jonathan (or even LW, who gets blamed for everything up to the Treaty of Versailles) is not going to get these jamokes anywhere lol.
  22. There has been talk about issues with Kelly for literal years, lol. And she's been phoning a great deal of her performances in since the early 2010s, and that's a conservative estimate. I suppose if I lived on soap twitter and only formed my opinions on GH based on how random people on the Internet felt I might be more invested, but I'm not. I don't particularly care that they fired Kelly because Sam has been dead weight for over a decade and the character is played out and has no story left. I think Sam's worked sometimes in recent years, but not enough that I would keep her. Does being fine with Sam gone mean I am fine with FV running GH? Of course not, and it is not an either/or. This isn't stan wars and I'm not 15 years old, I don't have to pretend to take one side or the other. If Kelly wants to battle it out in the press and try to topple Frank that's just fine with me. He needs to go for other reasons. But cutting Kelly Monaco, that I don't care about.
