I think it was meant to distinguish him from his very well-known role on OLTL as Carlo/Mortimer.
I know, but they surely could have found a better wig!

I don't know how unpopular this would really be but co-signing this to the moon and back.
I do think that while Dallas was obviously a ratings juggernaut and therefore better know, "critics" and most people watching both would concur that KL was a leaps and bounds a superior soap content-wise.Agreed.

Unpopular Opinion but i think Laura is not really needed anymore on GH! Her time's up tbh.
I think it's more the writing. If GH actually cared enough to give Genie decent material, she's capable of doing good work.

This may happen, but she'll be back in some way. The woman has nine lives. If she hasn't been fired by now, anything can happen.

Susan Bedsow Horgan (writer/EP, OLTL) actually said once that the character of Patrick Thornhart was named for her husband. Both the real and fictional Patricks were originally from Ireland.

It feels a bit like cheating because Agnes Nixon had so many shows, but she wrote Gillian Spencer into three of her series—GL (as Robin), OLTL (as Viki), and AMC (as Daisy).
Plus, she also became a writer on Agnes' shows.

And it was stupid of scientists not to assume covid would mutate. It's a virus and a virus always can mutate especially with all the social distancing, mask wearing, and spreading it has been doing for 18+ months.
That's what I've said all along. Viruses mutate - that's what they do!

I always thought Lois' accent made her stand out from the other nominees that's my theory why she won lol
That's as good a theory as any.

I like that guy! He's funny. And it's amazing how he can be sophisticated and refined, but smarmy at the same time.
Patrick Horgan was a master of that type of role.

She and her family parted with a ton of stuff. Lots of ATWT items and memorabilia in the pictures at that link.
Wow.

Thanks!
You're welcome! The first time I saw the scene, it was on the L&L: Lovers on the Run video. Laura is writing the letter and you hear her words in voiceover. The scene fades to Scotty reading the words out loud.

Stuart Ward is listed on imdb as having played Det. Levy from 1991-94. Since it's imdb, take it with a grain of salt.

The only thing that surprises me about this is the length of time it took to get to this point.

— NBC News (@NBCNews) October 11, 2021You're not kidding. I'm sure we'll be seeing more of this as time goes on.

I read Agnes Nixon's autobiography, and I was disappointed that there was no mention of Loving. All the focus was on OLTL and AMC. It would have been so interesting to get her take on why the show struggled in the ratings.
I was disappointed, too. It just seemed slapped together.

Don't fall into it. They are almost as guilty with the endless outrage coverage. From republicans like Chuck Todd and Joe Scarborough to Bernie lovers like Chris Hayes and Ari Melber - they are not your friends and are making money with the endless Trump coverage. Have they spent any time covering the news conferences, speeches or content of what is in the comprehensive legislation that is sitting in congress? How about voting rights. And I am talking about REAL coverage not coverage to generate clicks, fear, and outrage. MSNBC spent a year giving Donald Trump free airtime and covered the same empty podiums CNN did.
Most of the hosts you mentioned I don't watch (much) and I had to shut off Joy Reid and her constant yelling. I do like Rachel Maddow a lot. She's smart and doesn't delve into histrionics.
