And Cruz is a terrible detective.Â
You ever notice that he's never on a case that doesn't involve friends, family or the Capwells?

Ari Melber
I always had to turn him off because of his constant and annoying hip-hop references. Nothing more embarrassing than watching a middle-aged white guy try desperately to be hip by constantly quoting Dr. Dre.

I have never forgiven Tomlin for playing the baby Jack story for laughs and I never will.Â
I never understood why they played it that way at the time and still don't. That was so cruel.

If I remember what LK said, she wanted to move to LA to be near her husband and ATWTÂ let her out of her contract ( and recast with Christina Chambers) and she quickly signed with GH.
However GH was close to signing LL as Lois but when Kay became available they gave her Lois. Maybe ABC felt bad and gave LL the OLTL role of Sonia
OK, makes sense.

Thank goodness he left my Cleveland Cavaliers before he went full-blown conspiracy theorist. Good for the Nets not giving in.

This should be interesting.

Yeah, I’ve never bought the music excuse for the lack of KL on DVD or streaming. Warner just hasn’t done a great job with the old Lorimar titles, particularly the hour-long shows. The Waltons and Dallas both got DVD releases but they weren’t remastered and looked pretty bad relatively speaking. The Waltons has since gotten remastered, but Dallas is on imdbTV and looks worse than ever. Eight is Enough finally got a DVD release after many years, but most of it was manufactured on demand (burned) rather than pressed, and that show has been absent from broadcast/cable for 20 years and isn’t streaming. There are other shorter-lived Lorimar shows - Flamingo Road, Our House - that have sat in the vaults for years. And the longer they are unseen, the less demand there is for them.
Whoever is in charge of the Warner Bros library just doesn’t care about these shows.
When was the last time KL was broadcast? Wasn't it on SoapNet?

The Flame/Michael pairing was successful though but it never got off the ground because of her firing. Wasn't it Rauch who fired her though? He also fired Louise Sorel because of their previous relationship.Â
Rauch didn't come on until 1992.Â

To be honest I would be over with dubbing over the songs as long as we got Knots on home mediaÂ
I think Moonlighting had to go through the same process before getting released on home mediaÂ
Yeah, quite a few shows where popular music was prominently featured (WKRP, Miami Vice and The Wonder Years) have finally gotten DVD releases (albeit with some changes). Hopefully KL will eventually get its later seasons released.

Felicia Sanders, who played Stella Bellini (Nick’s sister-in-law) on The Doctors in the 70s, was the vocalist on the Percy Faith Orchestra’s, The Song from Moulin Rouge.  It went to #1 in 1953.
Â
Beautiful! I always wanted Rico (Richard Niles) and Stella to stick around.

Greg Abbott is playing hardball. Florida and Texas in a race to the bottom as usual.
He's a fool, plain and simple. A heartless fool who would rather cater to wealthy donors than actually try to prevent his own citizens from becoming potentially deathly ill.

This is the best line of the year. I hope it shut that bigmouth up (but it probably didn't).

Are they showing repeats of repeats at this point? Â
According to my guide, tomorrow's episode is a repeat from February, 8 months ago. They're probably just picking random episodes from last season at this point.

I have no idea if it's true or not, but I read that it's because of all the songs Ciji/Cathy sang. They didn't want to pay music royalties. There might be some truth to that if they only released the first two seasons. Didn't Ciji first appear in Season 3?
I think it was Season 4 (1982-83), but I could be wrong.

It seems like an unfortunate BTS story that torpedoed that story, because the show was certainly invested in the plot, until the Dobson's returned, and tried to revert Kelly back to her Princess Bride days and she lost all of the smarts she gained during her relationship with Robert/Quinn/Craig.
Even that would have been more bearable if they had kept Carrington Garland.

Flame was a great character. She even made a boring Michael interesting.Â
That's no easy feat.

I can't unsee her appearance on Jimmy Fallon the other night. MY EYES!!!!

Letting her go was definitely one of the show's biggest mistakes.

On Bob Saget’s podcast, Tom Bergeron says he had a feeling that he was getting fired and that the show had become an unpleasant work environment for him in recent years:

Such a shame. He deserved better.

I think they are grooming the Laura character to be matriarch of the show in some ways she is already matriarch statusÂ
Exactly.

One of what I thought was one of the show's best and most unique characters was Flame. I was so disappointed when they wrote her out. She was an extremely complex character IMO.
I still remember the shock of this sequence when Debra London turned into Flame AND we found Robert being held captive.
Â
That was the perfect name for her, too - Flame. The chemistry was there right away.
