She’s easily the most charismatic and fun to watch actress in daytime right now.

I think that’s more than likely what happened. It came time to re-up his contract at DAYS, they either told him they would be cutting his guarantees or overall salary, and he and his agent started putting out feelers to the other soaps. Y&R took the bait and offered him a deal he/his agent was happier with.

Amazing - truly outstanding that they’re holding steady and even growing. Unprecedented for these times. They’re also skewing younger (more attractive to adverting $$$) and more diverse (55% of the audience being Black in the first week), which is very good. CBS must be happy so far.

Particularly with Vernon - it was totally tone deaf the other day to have him try to equate his arrests during the Civil Rights movement to Dani’s arrest. Who approved that? They need to have a warning.

I think it’s a major issue that Dani keeps getting enabled and people keep kissing her ass. And those who call her out are also quick to backtrack and excuse her actions (Nicole and Anita). She needs a character on her side that sees things more clearly and that can be brutally honest with her and her inherent toxicity.

Listen guys, I don’t care what we saw that she did, but my girl Dana/Lesie/Shelly is INNOCENT and is just getting what’s due to her! I refuse to see it any other way! 😇🙃

Count me in on the group that can’t stand Naomi or the actress. What a self-righteous and hypocritical bore. I do think they need to explore Naomi and Haley’s relationship more though. Naomi brought Haley into the fold but they never interact or share any meaningful scenes in passing. There needs to be some type of reckoning between the two - maybe they can get trapped in a room or something before Naomi is killed off. 🙂

MVJ and Guza seem to be lifting a lot from Carly’s early scenes with Bobbie on GH for Eva with Ted. That whole interval battle of wanting to ruin someone’s life, but also strangely beginning to like them. Fantasizing about being a part of that person’s life and feeling guilt about the kindness said person is giving them.

GH wouldn’t resist trying to re-pair him with Mansi again and suddenly have Kristina start craving some good ole d!ck.

If he was willing to go to ATL, I would have taken him as a Derek recast on BTG as well. Assuming they’ll be better writing and more development for that character.

Oh god, DAYS always looks cheap as hell. Are they going to start shooting the show out of a cardboard box next? The Peacock-only model always seemed like an experiment to me that needed to be financially validated in the long term. So, I guess, we’ll see how that manifests itself…

Newly created role? Josh Griffith doesn’t know how to create new characters with any longevity.

She’s like an old Hollywood star. She brings that type of aura to the show. If daytime wasn’t so racist, she would have been a big star during the golden age of soaps with the right character.

Just strolling in casually like nothing happened yesterday:

They just drain the energy out of the show whenever they’re on. It’s a combination of the characters being so damn generic, actors lacking charisma (Jen Jacob), and just being plain wooden as hell (Ben Gavin).

I feel like there’s a lot more to this Ted/Dana relationship than we know and that will unfold.

I feel like there’s an intention to write and produce this show with a streaming/binging audience in mind first.

They clearly have something planned out for Dana’s revenge. I want to see how they’re going to let this unfold as Ted already knows of her reappearance.

I wonder if it was purely sexual vs. emotional. Like he was bored by his sex life in his marriage at one point and sought sexual fulfillment elsewhere, lol. When he was done, he just thought paying Dana off for her silence would be the end of it.
