I'm glad your thoughts confirm the overall tone of the show by this point that the end of 1996 and first half of 1997 felt distorted, and all over the place, while things picked up the second half just in time for the 25th anniversary! I know you will have better stuff to say for 1998! haha RE: John I swear Ashley and Jack tried to play matchmaker with him and set him up with Katherine!!!. I guess nothing amounted to it...this is why Jeanne refers to these years (95-97) "The Young and the REST OF US!" because she and Jerry D. had no story, and the younger cast dominated.... Did it mention Flo being there for Nina's shooting?? I'm still shocked Sharon F. was even still around in 1997, since most sources say she left in 1996.

It's so crazy how much Lorie seemed to be involved in the initial Jill/Phillip/Katherine stuff, even if she seemed to be some sort of confidant to Philip. You would think Kay and her would have had some words since Lorie comes off more sexually aggressive, than Jill in some ways. I guess Bill Bell didn't want Katherine to battle two young girls for the attraction of her husband..haha

That's so interesting, for some reason July 15th was always given as Bill Bell's last HW date! but at least this confirms it! I wish we had the actual dates where Jack Smith took over as HW over Alden in late 2002. That's trickier because Alden was always credited first even though Smith was HW late 02-Feb 06 when LML took over.

I'm basically over blaming Braeden for all of the problems the show has had with how Victor is written, but sometimes I do wonder (and this is going to sound terrible and I apologize in advance) when the time comes and Braeden is gone, how many actors are gonna come forward and admit things constantly had to be changed in the script because he didn't want Victor to lose, in any way.....including allowing other characters to physically attack him more then they did... I'm at least thankful Bill Bell got the final say in this scene with Cole!

Most of the episodes chosen for themed weeks seemed to be more about other characters! We will probably see Dru in the 2005 episodes, but why not just show their wedding and maybe the confrontation with Lillie Bell at Olivia’s birthday??

Got it!! Sigh...why do they show 2 2000s episodes from the same year but not any 90s from the same year! 😕

I could have gotten the wrong date but for next Wednesday I got 2/9/2005 as one of the dates.

The one good thing I’ll say about MABs tenure is we still had the old sets and music...the episodes are skipable other then that!

It seems like next week will be Neil tribute week. I checked globals schedule and they have mon and tues shows as 2/14/91 and 5/9/94. Neil’s first episode and his first scenes with Malcolm.

I wasn't sure if it was part of the St. Croix story? I'm so bad with my geography I wouldn't be sure if this was a different trip Nikki And Rick took. LOL This is definitely one of the more erotic scenes I think I've seen on the show. Rick seductively caressing that dollar on the dancer's body, while Nikki just watches with glee! the dancer reminds be a lot of Brenda Dickson too!
