So glad to finally see the second episode! The first and second shows edited together actually worked really well and though some things were cut it was still easy to follow along with the sequence of the scenes. Seeing the entire Brooks family together (minus Lorie) was great, It's interesting how Bill Bell definitely explained the class difference between the upper working class Brooks and the Poorer Fosters just by the dinner scenes, and we see the Foster household where an exhausted Liz has to basically act as both father and mother. It's definitely easy to tell where Snapper and then later Jill would get the desperation to make sure their family wouldn't stay poor for the rest of their lives. I guess Greg was the only Foster Sibling to not really try to appear as a social climber.

haha It's amazing they kept that music all the way into 1993! maybe beyond on those rare occasions? I'm surprised they cut Hall's scenes at the end of the first episode...I'd figure they'd love to give her that royalty check.

I think it would be worth it to try to transfer those episodes if possible, if you end up pulling them out of storage!

Besides the last two dates, this sounds like an amazing week!!! 😁 I wish they would have picked the actual ceremony for Neil and Dru from 3/11/93, but oh well....hopefully Y&R still has a few more classics to show before we get new episodes.

I know Lynch is a great actress, but for the little I've watched, Sue always seemed to be WAY too OTT bitchy, borderline evil, for a TV show....it doesn't seem she evolved it all too throughout the show.

Good lord this year has been cruel... I was barely a casual viewer of Glee but, of the view episodes I've watched, this scene here has always stuck with me...I certainly thought it was a powerful one.

I mean i consider it to be the shows final classic year but I don’t necessarily want to see those episodes too if that makes sense? Lol im thankful Maria isn’t the one married to Thudley or else we’d get a week of her greatest hits...

What is the fascination with showing 2005 episodes? I think they’ve showed the most episodes from that year...

I think someone once tried to tie them together as the same character, but that can’t ring true since Y&R Pierre died within the first year.

Lol I forgot about that...sometimes I do hate the negativity viewers gave the show even back then, but I guess there was always something to complain about even when the show was good! Most of the time I find the recaps to pale in comparison, to seeing the actual episode!

I still hate how in 2012 how Phyllis tried to pass if off, with Stafford hysterically shouting:” I LOST CONTROL OF THE CAR...IT WAS AN ACCIDENT!!!” this was attempted murder pure and simple, and it’s ridiculous even for soap standards how Phyllis got away with that.
