I think the B&B cast seem pretty tight, but that being a smaller cast helps...and Passions definitely was a soap were everyone was friendly backstage....GH and Y&R seem to choose who will be their "friends" though the GH cast certainly has had more problems in recent years then Y&R ever had.

I guess it's fitting since there's always this idea the Y&R cast isn't that "family oriented" like other soaps...I don't really agree , but It's probably very "clique-ish" more then any other set.

Interesting interview...gonna have to listen myself. I wonder if it's the actors choice to stay in their dressing room, or that the schedule at Y&R does it accordingly to who's up first for the day...It seems the cast was even isolated offscreen as they were onscreen. It always seemed like Bergman had a resentful chip on his shoulder regarding his AMC firing, and he always ends up telling the story where they were in NYC for the Emmy's that year (1991, or 1992) and they had just demolished the old AMC building they had used for years, much to PB's sadness, but his wife ended up surprising him later with a Brick from the studio...It's a nice story and he always tears up telling it.

I’m soooooo Behind in all these 1983 clips but it almost sounds like there’s not as much editing out compared to the last several 82 clips. was I imagining this, but I swear someone said Katherine enlisted Jills help in reuniting Stuart and Liz who started to date Gina?? Is any of that in the clips??

Mine definitely were: -3/27/73 -11/2/81 -6/27/84 -7/9/90 -12/14/94 i wish we could have gotten more 70s/80s, 1992 and 1995 at least, but otherwise they picked some good shows to air!

LOL There's actually a December 1982 clip floating around with Liz and Jill sitting in the Abbott living room and Jill lists everything that annoys her about the other Abbotts and she says "Patty does nothing but mope around"!

I wasn't aware the actors had much of a hand, but I applaud MTS and EB if they picked more of the "out of the ordinary" episodes for their week! (although I'm shocked not one of them could have recommended the full 1981 Victor sees Nikki stripping at the Bayou for the first time episode) I want to throw a bunch of rocks at Thudley...LOL

Honestly...I wanna just slap the crap out of Thudley! I can picture him all smiley and giddy choosing all those Liam/Steffy/Hope episodes! it makes me sick! How sad to imagine we'd get so much more variety if they let the CBS/SONY interms or whoever that choose the Y&R classics do the same for B&B!

Is that definite? Sometimes it takes a while to update with the repeats? if so Y&R definitely gets the gold medal for giving the fans what they want as far as showing real classics, can’t say the same for GH.

I keep expecting to see January 1983 etc...Posted very soon!

That was cool to read! despite the author's negative opinions. I had know idea the Henderson Family was shown or even mentioned during the first weeks of the show...I thought maybe they came 6 months down the line....I'm guessing Bill Bell changed the Russell/Jim name to Mark when he was cast.

Thanks! definitely makes it easier to keep track! I wonder if we will get some 1995 shows before the new episodes begin? They could have aired maybe Jack and Luan's wedding that aired on Feb 14, 1995. (if heaven forbid Bergman allowed that!) Nick and Sharon were featured quite a bit in the 94/96 episodes, but I could have done with some 1995 ones with them (mostly just to see other stories)
