I have that episode....wish it was 11/18/91 cause I don't have that one. 😕 That episode features Jack telling John he wanted to hit Nikki because of how drunk she was the night before, I believe this scene won Bergman his second Emmy.

It’s not just you, they always seem to re-Dubb that scene in flashback. I think they did the same for the 5,000 big bear show.

It seemed like the show sort of Went away from that kookier humor as the 90s progressed. 89-90 in particular seem to have more broader comedic moments then to when it became more of the subtle humor we had later on.

I was wondering if Lauren and Traci had an encounter at the party but I guess they didn’t?? I’m just glad TEBs hair was an improvement from when she had it super short the previous Summer 2000 return. I didn’t even realize Colleen was around for this party...always sad seeing her and Brad. Did teenage Colleen even act with her godfather Victor?? Victor and Brad were basically at odds at this point.

They start out so good then always jump so far ahead into the 2000s...

It seems like this time around they tailored the writing to make it seem like Traci had more animosity towards Dina then Ashley the last time around. This is based off of the other November 1991 I’ve seen around this time. I guess they figured BE was too soft to go against MA??

I didn't know that, that's a great detail they left in. I think as far as Nina's dad, that was always retconned a bit...I think When we first saw Nina she mentioned she ran away from BOTH parents, and then it was changed to it just being her mom a few years later...of course they never really delved into Nina's real father coming on, even though they teased Jed Sanders as a possible candidate before they dropped the story.

Your welcome! Last week when they showed the David trash Compactor episode my mom commented on how OTT Flo's acting and crying was thinking Nina was dead...It kind of stung me because I thought Sharon Farrell was one of the best actresses on the show for the little they had her do.

Thanks! I noticed Kay Alden seemed to like to retcon some of the character's connections prior to their time on the show...wasn't she the one that made John and Katherine old classmates, when someone once said John and Katherine didn't meet until he was about to marry Jill the first time?

no problem I maybe wrong, but I think it was a later retcon that Ashley and Olivia were indeed in College Together, unless that's a mistake.

Olivia does arrive June 15, 1990 and Mamie introduces her to Ashley!
