I mean they already had planned for Brooke to be Stephanie’s successor all the way back when she was against Rick/Amber. There’s just no way she’d let a child like Steffy treat her and her family like that… I do wish the Marone stuff would be brought up from time to time because I’m tired of the hypocrisy of Ridge, Taylor Thomas and Steffy, but if they never done that (which they shouldn’t have in all honesty) I probably wouldn’t be as annoyed, with this whole Forrester vs Logan BS. It just seems like Bradley does write the “pure blood” Forresters as more of the “good guys” (which honestly isn’t fair to really say because besides Eric, we don’t see Thorne,Felicia, Kristen) and not really as anti-Logan and the bad/shadier “Forresters” have always seemed to be Ridge and Tridge kids. (Sans Phoebe) who have inherited Stephanie’s longtime hatred of Brooke and her family (except Ridge of course). Something that Massimo shared too.

It’s always easy to blame Griffith and the writers, but I’m starting to think there’s some written mandate for CBS/Sony that they can’t actually tell teen stories anymore on their soaps. Or even build teen sets.

Brooke really should have been written as the “new Stephanie” I refuse to believe she would take so much crap from the likes of Taylor and Steffy… She should slap that smug look off Steffys face every day like her grandmother use to do to her.

I really really HATE that a show with the word YOUNG in it, can’t think of stories to tell a YOUNG teen set..

I'm kind of scared for this man's family, if he really believes all this....I mean, I always feel like most of the characters are a reflection of how he thinks people should act, and be treated...especially women...

Yet, the writers treat him like he’s this misunderstood suffering hero who “briefly lost his way”

I have a bad feeling this is gonna all end up making Hope look bad in a potential custody battle with Douglas…For not recognizing Sheila or eventually having her discover it’s Sheila and Thudley not have her say anything…either ways she’s screwed..

The dates are April 1st and 7th, 1994! At some point, I need to add the airdates to all these episodes! I've seen those Sheila/Molly scenes and yes it's so scary how nice Sheila is! LOL She was a HUGE bitch over the phone to her the last time, but this is the "closest" I think we've seen them! When Was KB's last day before her maternity leave again?

Yes to all of this! it’s sad something changed course again because it looked like Deacon and Taylor were suppose to be a thing. I’d rather they kept with that and have Hope and Taylor form a stronger bond, and encouraging her father to be happy with Taylor. Then Steffy is more supportive of Brooke, since she stuck up for her and Finn, and is pissed at Taylor.

Yes, Katherine didn’t seem that impressed with Dina for lying about her illness, haha. I could be wrong but they don’t seem to really mention that in 1996, so I guess naturally Katherine wouldn’t bring that up either?

Yeah, it’s like Steffy might as well forgive Sheila for shooting her and Finn and making her family “stronger then ever” 🙄 I would have had no problem with Steffy being pissed at Taylor for even allowing Sheila to step foot into their lives, but she’s a “ world renowned psychiatrist” who knows what’s she’s doing 🙄

I feel like ever since Taylor returned last year that Steffy has had no use for Hope (I still feel like she barely tolerated her most of the time) she could have at least thanked Hope for holding vigil for her when she was shot and maybe even apologized and thanked Brooke for sticking up to her and Finn against Sheila, but none of that matters as long as her precious family is reunited…..

Yeah, Katherine/Dina’s friendship was a little bizarre at times. All 3 women aren’t too different from one another, but I guess if Dina had tried to steal Phillip from Katherine, she would have made it her mission to make Dina’s life as miserable as she did Jill’s. That always seems to be a double standard with Katherine where unless she’s wronged by somebody like she felt she was with Jill all those years, she can commiserate with woman who have actually done far worse and left their family behinds like Dina, because Katherine was also that bored and unhappy wealthy society wife for all those years too.

Lol, I don’t know what’s all going on in this clip but this is definitely much more soapy then what we see on soaps nowadays!! 😁😁 sadly it all boils down to JMW being Thudleys pet, and him thinking the fans still get such a kick out of Brooke being the “slut from the valley” after 30 odd years.

Lol, most days at work all I think about are soaps! I always do an inventory list in my head of what episodes of Classic Y&R we have so far, how much of the episode we have, and what is still missing from certain years…lol I just get bored easily
