she supposedly wanted a "Tracey Bregman" recurring deal, but they didn't give her that... They should've given her that. Hope Mal Young changes that. May 7, 1990 is correct for VR as I have her first episode, I heard June 15, 1990 was TLW's first airdate.... Thank you, been wondering about that At this point, I wouldn't be surprise if TLW was as sick of the BTS treatment of the AA cast as VR is....but I guess time will tell.....I would love to see Olivia's reaction to Hilary.Olivia was always great when she had her backbone. No problem I think it's safe to say I will never stop wishing Y&R had a "Jason 47" type of database, that had all actors first and last airdates, old episode charts and all that good stuff.

I don't know....he's not a "bad" actor, but I always felt like he was one of those definite "failed athletes" who even with all these roles being booked, will never take the job as seriously as should....proven on how he played Derek on TW.....(even though the writing was terrible for him, I'll give it that) with that said....he was really good in RTP...

SO I guess it's safe to say, if you leave Teen Wolf, you are bound to end up playing a superhero on a CW show I would say he's a decent choice, though my first thought was that it's funny how he's now going to work with Blake Jenner's wife, since he just did a movie with him...I'm not saying that's the reason he got the role, which of course it isn't, but it seems like Hoechlin is part of that circle of actors who seem to always be on things that have connections to previous stuff he's been on.

No Problem! I don't know about the board members, but it's very amusing how they basically hired a handful of soap vets during this time....Kin Shriner playing the doctor and Ellen Wheeler as Sarah.... The Lauren and Brooke scene in this episode was very amusing, they are two peas in the pod, but I'm glad Lauren acknowledge Brooke being no better then her.

Right?! I thought the same thing too but, hey, things are a-changing... even on network TV! haha, it does seem like network cable is becoming more gutsy in showing that stuff...though I feel like all pilot episodes of a new series always gets that one nude shot, then just do away with it for the rest of the series...but if not I guess Justin Hartley fans might catch a glimpse of the "goods"....LOL

Hmm, looks like it might be good!.....I'm still a bit surprised that the butt shots are now being allowed more in these shows...

ALL: Soap Stars - Where are they now?
Kimberlin Brown was shown in the audience in "DWTS" tonite.

ALL: They Almost Became
That would have been very interesting....(Jane as Stephanie) but I feel like Jane is a definite ABC soap actress, not that she would have done good on a Bell soap... I could see her being Jill in all honesty though...

Andrea Evans was a goddess in that role, which is why I miss her on daytime....I always got a kick out of the fact that it seemed like Theresa always had a harder time taking out Gwen, or was always the one getting attacked by her, while Theresa always attacked Rebecca easily without any problems....:D I still get a kick out of Theresa trapping Rebecca against the wall in her wheelchair, when she found out Rebecca was covering for Gwen when she took off with Baby Jane, then just hitting her and calling her a bitch, while everyone just looked on, and some even cracked a smile in the background....LOL

Passions Discussion Thread
sigh..... you know I forgot how much I miss this damn show.....I've never really spoken about my love for Passions as much, even if it's always been my first and well...the first soap I got into on my own, but I have been watching lots of old episodes, and I reminded myself, even if I have grown to love other soaps, Passions was truly a special part of my life, and really defined most of my late childhood/early/teen years, and I loved every minute of it....I totally would add a bit of Passions into any soap I was currently writing...LOL

I wish there was more of that story around....I sometimes forget how limited B&B is of any clips dealing with any of their "secondary" characters from the old days... I honestly can't tell if the John/Lynne thing was meant to be funny or not....I could see them hooking up though.....maybe a trial hook up did happen onscreen before it was dropped.... Yeah those guys all look alike LOL.....It was nice to read that the dude in Victoria's centerfold story was a big Y&R/Victor fan.... so it was Heidi Mark after Monica Potter..I always get confused on who came first and second before Case....not to mention they also had another Doris and Amy before Karen Hensel and Julianne Morris...............between those 3 and the original Mari Jo before Diana Barton, I wonder why Bell Bell struggled with these casting decisions...

Thanks for the articles....these events always sound like fun, and I loved the picture of Jeanne playing with Kimberlin's baby daughter... Kind of shocked Braeden was there as It seems like he usually avoids these type of things.... They were going for a John Silva/Lynne romance?....didn't know that.... That woman who plays Ivana looks like Melissa Claire Egan in that photo...

Don't forget Kevin Bacon! LOL Those movies are so notorious of having actors that just gave up or moved on from their careers, besides the ones we mentioned....(also Renee Jones was in the "Jason Lives" one where we were treated to watching Jason rip her pretty head off...LOL) I still appreciate how back then it seemed like most of the actors who later joined a soap like Barton, Reeves, and Jones didn't see the genre as a "step down" compared how most young actors today thinks being a part of a popular movie franchise means you always have to get "bigger" and "better" roles in primetime/other movies....never giving soaps a thought or the time of day....

What does it mean?? That's the setting for all the Friday the 13th movies, with Jason... Lol it actually might be pure coincidence actually. In fact the Crystal Lake reference may be a instant of real life veracity given their is a real Crystal Lake, Illinois just 20 miles south of the real Genoa City, Wisconsin. Given Bell's great familiarity with the area it wouldn't be a surprise he'd actual reference a nearby real resort lake as opposed to a Friday the 13th reference. haha true....I forget sometimes how Bill Bell liked to reference actual places close to his heart, to add some realism... with that said, I always thought it was funny how both Peter Barton and Scott Reeves starred in one of the Friday the 13th movies before they came on Y&R....I think you even saw Barton's bare ass in that one....

Great episode! Damn the whole show and even the commercials just screamed 1992. I actually remember those overly dramatic Tide commercials from the early '90s too and of course the Beef commercials. The smooth jazz/elevator music at the BBQ screamed 1992 too. Jill looked so stunning in her outfit and was on fire the entire episode. Walton brings out Tylo's better side and I just can imagine Blade and Jill going toe to toe with Rick and Mari Jo together but then again Jill could never been fooled by a switch so it would have had to been a different kind of revenge story. I felt bad for weepy Ashley the entire episode and how dowdy she looked after her breakup with Victor. Never cared for Brad and Traci, but I did like they were giving Traci more of an edge. Brad was hot and him taking his sunglasses off at the sight of Ashley was a nice added touch. Carol's appearance felt so forced. "Hey I'm still on the show!" I know they didn't know what to do with her, but they could so easily given some one talented like Templeton a good plethora of stories. Either a secret affair with Brad or spying on Victor for Jack would have sufficed. Neil was quite fine with the open shirt but his PSA speech was highly awkward. I know Bell loved to do it and given the '92 recession and other tensions at the time it sounded like he covered all of his bases. Nothing beats the PSA awkwardness as 2003 July 4th ep when Jack, Neil, Victor brought their Saudi businessman friend to the Abbott family BBQ though. I'm glad This episode was uploaded....funny thing is that I think this episode was once around, dubbed in Italian, and some of the scenes were missing, so it's great to understand what they were actually saying! haha I think this might be Jill's best look I've seen her in.....she usually dresses so OTT which now has been reduced to downright frumpy depending on the day, but it was nice to see her as causal which is rare for her!....I laughed at Little Phillip saying how great it was both his grandma's were there.... I don't know why but the site of seeing Brad walk around in a speedo with all these kids around makes me a little uneasy...I know it's probably not Diamont's decision to wear those but something never seems quite right about it, minus the eye candy for the female and some men..... I agree about Carol's entrance being a little forced....especially since she was like "oh I can't stand long, but wanted to pop in'.......I wish she would have made mention to Skip and her little girl....A long shot thing that just popped into my head, but how cool would it be if Natalie was really a grown up Skylar Evens?? I agree about the cheesiness of Neil's speech, but overall it's fitting to see that since it's Kristoff's 25th anniversary as Neil.....It really also hit me more then ever how much damaged they really have caused on Neil and the rest of the Winters in general...
