Look at them! Giving TJ and Molly some meaty material and point of views. I guess everyone called it by bring the Sonny angle into the surrogacy. And TJ ain't wrong about Sonny. However, he IS wrong about thinking Kristina isn't her own person. So I'm glad Molly put that out there. But they rarely get much to do anyway so I didn't mind seeing them.

Sonny throwing Jason as a deadbeat dad back in Jason's face will never not be funny. Because we all have picked on him for that for years. About time someone on the show did.

And I see the dance continues with Drew and Nina. They suuure do know how to needle each other. And it makes it fascinating to watch.

Ava restored to the role of schemer. Hmmmm.  And Kristina might be on to her at some point. Almost makes the TJ and Molly talk in this episode a form of foreshadowing.

Could not agree more with all of this. These production companies clearly have their heads up their asses right now.

They really do and I'm soooo over it when what they should be doing is finding Andy and a frakking camera!!!

Why is Bravo is letting RHOA tank? Is it because Bravo cannot forgive Nene for the lawsuit and cannot get past the RHOA/Nene association? The show feels like a giant after-thought, and last season was dry and unwatchable. Everything about the production team is mediocre, and their lack of caring oozes from the screen. It's a RH show done by sleepy box-ticking. They f***ed RHOP up, too, but unlike RHOA, I feel like Truly Original somewhat cared about that show in a weird, toxic way.

I forgotten about that but YES. Like the whole drama during RHOA's I-need-to-finish-watching last season where they had a flashback and pulled out Nene's image and the backlash. They stay proving Nene right when they could be equally spiteful and make a BETTER show. Cuz they are so sabotaging it at this point.

As for Miami, the Guerdy/Julia rumor makes me sad. As you know, I have a real fondness for Julia and her backstory. Guerdy is a force of nature who built her own, highly watchable events business from scratch, and who is the only one to call out that sloth Larsa. Both are necessary to the show IMO.

Oh, I know you love Julia. ;) And she came into her own this past season as a lovable pot-stirrer...which could be a slippery slope but she pulled it off soooo well. I hope it stays just a rumor.

I feel like we're watching daytime TV all over again b/c Bravo shifts producers between shows. There was already the rumor that Eric Fuller might be producing RHONY this season on Twitter.

Lol. DaytimeFan and I be saying that about Bravo all the time.

I saw that rumor about Eric. I shiver to think. Especially with that one new cast member.

Oh, okay.  I said a few posts ago I thought she has some money either from Sonny or leftover.  It still doesn't make sense she can't afford her apartment after being unemployed for a few weeks though.  If her apartment was that expensive her Deception salary couldn't cover it and she had to dip into her savings, she probably should have moved long ago.  She could live above Bobbie's next to Jason lol.

Lol. Not that I haven't enjoyed all the shade over Sasha's ability to manage money, but I would like to say that she mentioned it to Cody in passing at one point.

And that reminds me...it warmed my heart to see the upstairs of Bobbie's again. So YES to seeing her move up there with Jason, too. It takes me back to the days of 1997-2002 again and I'm not hating that at all. Especially how I felt about the return of Sonny's penthouse...small and all.

  5. LOL. I feel you on that. There is no reason...NONE...RHOA isn't filming with the twists and turns to Porsha's divorce. They should at least be test filming newbies with her and Kenya. It makes no sense.

And I was just about to ask if you heard the Julia/Guerdy rumor. Make THAT make sense because Julia was THE pot-stirrer last season. Boring...WHERE??? If Guerdy leaves, it better be by her choice because she is over it.

And here we were just talking about C-W last week and how nothing was going on there and BOOM!!! Devon wants Nate back on the board...bringing their rivalry full circle. WHAM!!! Lily checks Billy and wants to reduce his role. BHAM!!! Jill appears and all @#$ breaks loose. And now they are voting on the lawsuit. I admit...the swiftness with which this is going down has been shockingly good.

Two different plans and STILL no sign of Harrison or Claire in sight. Oh, dear.

Watching AL unleashed as Summer on Kyle was breathtaking. I have always mentioned how much I love AL as Summer, but they have been downplaying her strength as an actress. So it's great to see her being allowed to show what she got because in those moments when she lets loose, Summer looks like her mother's daughter in terms of fury. I was also happy to see MM match her step by step. A nice dramatic dance.

I think Sasha quit her modeling job without any sort of savings and is living month to month, so it was kinda dumb to quit a good paying job when she's generally an awful model that won't get hired anywhere else.  But I am going to assume she can't afford culinary school?  That doesn't mean she couldn't start working as a line or prep cook, at say the Metro Court.

Actually, Sasha did have some savings regardless of how Gladys messed with her money. She definitely was using it month to month, but it only now seems to be catching up to her enough for her to downsize.

In other news... How long until we get a RH franchise back on the air?!

I've been watching The Valley and it's fine, but I'm just not a VPR uberfan so it's not hitting the spot for me like the RHs do.

So have you try out VANDERPUMP VILLA on Hulu...? I do believe there is a new episode today, too. Messy, but it's been fun so far.

And yet Bravo pushed them back to fall for filming and seem intend on avoiding RHOA, but WANTS to start filming RHOP again.

    Make it make sense.

I am not advocating a Sami recast necessarily, but if they can't get Ali I would be okay with it.  I genuinely think her presence is missing on the canvas

Hehe. I was just picking a bit. But I know people would be shocked if they did. Because when you think Sami you think Ali. Okay, I do, too. lol.

Wow. Nicole still hasn't exited yet? They really do write long term, don't they? So was her exit at least written by the scabs or RC?

Hell, they're more than welcome to steal my idea about giving him a long lost son 😂😂

    Also very true.

And see? THAT would be very easy to do. Because there have been several times when Lucas was not on the canvas. And single. Heck, they could say he got a girl preggers during miltary school.

her presence on the canvas is pretty large.  At some point I wonder if the show would consider recasting her

Sometimes, I think it depends on who the writer or producer was/is at the time.

    Ooooo VERY true.

Which is a shame because Lucas can be used for so much more than just falling off the wagon or just the Lumi pairing.

Well that was a letdown.  lol. But seriously, that's the second time that the writers (since they started) ended an episode on a good dramatic note, and then the next episode does not immediately pick up from there. It makes me think of when Mal Young was on Y&R with his 'one episode = one day' thing.

Oh so this is the Dex story people keep talking about! I admit that I was meh on playing every beat of him joining the police. I don't even think it's that bad though I don't care about him. But it never occurred to me that the police officers might not like him due to his association with Sonny. I like the 'actions has consequences' of it all so I might not mind that story at all.

OOooooo Blaze's style is rubbing on on Kristina. How cute!!! I did like the bachelorette party for the most part. But of course it gave us fun Lois and Tracy moments. And of course it also gave us that lovely Joss v Kristina moment. I am so happy that continues to grow legs.

I was actually sadden to see the end of Ava and Nina. When I came back to regularly viewing GH, I was in shock to see them as friends since I was watching when MS arrived as Nina. I knew their vicious history. And now....they were FRIENDS??? But clips later and watching MW and CW with each other...I liked it. Even though yes, it was totally implausible. That said...those were some good scenes.

So happy to see Ned. I was literally wondering when the last time we saw him was before he popped up at Chase's bachelor party. And oh, look, Spinelli!!

I totally can see Lois at Deception and having that knowledge. Them NY gals...lol.

There doesnt need to be cuts persay if the writers can find something for those characters to do and weave them in.

Which is what they appear to be doing. Or...setting up their exits.

  12. 4-19

Woooow. I guess I stand corrected.

I've been saying that since the PM and EK came on, it does feel clear they are heading in a certain direction. Probably even going by 'the Rules.' And probably have something in mind as the audience have been watching. That said...outside of Jason's return and the drama with Sonny and the meds...there's no big story. A lot of good ones. Only building.

But as I played catch-up with last week and reading here and there on the thread, it occurred to me that a picture had started to form from the puzzle pieces of the writing. Thus, the wow.

There was Anna putting Sonny on notice. There was Laura putting Sonny on notice. The Pikeman head reveal as well as the Sonny's med reveal. There's Dex trying to join the police where Anna is head. There's BLQ planning her wedding and her mother's close friendship with Sonny. There's Ava's getting a clue about the meds. It also seem unimportant but interesting. And then Anna and Laura had their talk about taking a hard line with Sonny and Laura referencing Sonny beating Cyrus and...

OH. Yeah, Cyrus chose not to charge Sonny. At the time. But look at Laura being crafty and getting Cyrus to change his mind. And look at the writers coming back around to the plot thread of Dex confessing about almost killing Cyrus to Anna. And Laura and Anna comparing notes now that they are anti-Sonny. Once Anna brought Molly to her office to be the person who spearheads it over Robert, knowing that Sonny would not dare to anything to his daughter's sister...or one of his babymamas...and I have to admit I was in awe. Where the writers really doing it? Were they about to have Sonny have a BIGGER fall than just a 'Sonny off his meds' story?

And what perfect time for a climax than a WEDDING? A wedding that Lois just spent a whole episode convincing Sonny to go to. Meanwhile, Ava just found out Sonny's med have been messed with, too??? Oh my Goodness!!! I just thought the only drama at Chase/BLQ's wedding might just be Gregory dying...but the Fall of Corinthos potentially?? I would say watching all those pieces coming together last week...if it happens there...I would say well played. Because Laura and Anna have been quite stealth about it and getting their pieces in line with Cyrus, Dex, Molly, proving to me that the writers are not going to dumb them down to make Sonny seem to Hero...GOOD.

On a whole other note...LOVE Nina getting her lickback on Drew. The scene where she revealed that she sold the Metro Court back to Jason who we all know he would give to Carly, knowing Jason is Drew's weak spot...was delicious.  It was written all over CM's face...always second best to Jason. Moreso because Jason could do what he could not...convince Carly to take it. Ooooo burn! Drew had that coming, though. But their chemistry was good. I was cheering Nina on.

They did sign a name actor to play the psychiatrist. I hope to God they don't force him to have a French accent.

See? That I knew about. But I figured that was someone based in Genoa City or the U. S. because it seem clear from how ED has played the character every time France and therapy was brought up, that the person in France she saw after Traci left didn't exist.
