  1. And now to the good stuff: SLC I liked that. Mary was easily my favorite. I also loved Lisa and Whitney. I was surprised at how lurkwarm Jen's was, but I know she is going to bring it so... I see you, Meredith! But don't get snatched like Wig did. Overall, very promising. ATL I cannot believe how middle of the road people are online about it. I thought it was pretty good. I know some people are sad about Nene, but she did that to herself. And the Neneless seasons have been good seasons too. Kenya still looks like she will be busy, stirring the pot, dealing with Marc, being Cynthia's wingman. I am still looking forward to Porsha's activism though it seems like that will be the center of her reemerging feud with Kenya. Thus the producers' comments...and I cannot believe the producers are really popping up on ALL the shows this year. And then...Strippergate? Well, Kenya always wanted to get back at Tanya so let's see how that plays out. Curious to see how Bravo will do this Cynthia wedding. I was thinking kinda like how NY did LuAnn and Tom's wedding with the before and after and we still got to see her plan her wedding. But...we'll see. I like Drew so far. Same for Latoya. Intrigued.
  2. As she SHOULD HAVE. Nene... Agree as well. So many dynamics to work with with 6, 7...even 8. But isn't the tea on Bravo when it comes to hiring is that they want nobodies so that if they HIT, they can take the credit for 'discovering' them vs folks with clout or even other reality stars from other networks?
  3. TBF, Karen would not be the first housewife to play the 'marriage in trouble' storyline. Nene got seasons (and a spinoff) out of it by allegedly faking a divorce, breakup, getbacktogether, and remarriage out of it. So I cannot pick on her for that if it's true. I personally don't think it's true myself. I know I have said why I stand with Karen who has arguably had the best arc from Season 1 to 5 (I could also see Ashley given that up until this season she had gotten off my nerves, but like a true soap villainess, she got her comeuppance last season which might have something to do with that) from stuck up queen to just queen now. But to sum it up again...especially today of all days...nothing and I mean NOTHING will humble a person more than the loss of a parent. And Karen lost both of her...BACK TO BACK. I have had years to process my loss and it hurts. Moreso this year because Corona tried it with my Mother and that definitely had me in my feels. Not out of the woods but the 14 days have passed. And just worrying on top of everything going on in 2020 it definitely has put how I feel about my mother in a different life and how I am not ready to lose her. The loss of my father shattered me and it took years for me to function. Just thinking about potentially losing my mother...can't. Not strong enough. Is she an act? She was. Still is, but I think she is NOW in on the joke which makes her far more entertaining and more importantly relatable. Not perfect, still human. But the loss of her parents have made her a different person. Thinking about life. Thinking about things she want to see before she goes I suspect. And we see her drive. Her in the moment. And I won't fault her for that. Life is short. Now as for Bravo...they are always trying to manipulate who the audience should like. We all are smart enough to know better for the most part. BH should reveal how tone deaf they are that they basically kept everyone and if some singer's daughter had not gotten in trouble in real life, she might still be there, too. Gizelle is just fetch...and we all know that is not going to EVER happen. She is just proof that Andy Cohen still has some control over who we should be seeing and his bias is showing. Which is fine. More people like scene stealers anyway...which La Grande Dame clearly has done with the audience. I said what I said. THIS. Always. She's been trying to destroy her ever since. + 1 I feel if Monique leaves, it will be by her choice. She has basically said anyway. That's something else to factor in re: Monique. I don't know if you watched her IG when she revealed the BTS about the rumor and Gizelle and group's role in it, but it was clear that production LOVES Monique. Otherwise they would not have gone out of their way to contain for the better part of two years (?). You could even see that during the fight. Heck, they seem to love everybody...James with Ashley and Michael during the dinner where Michael was being dramatic and Just during the fight with the one producer trying to get Candiace in the car. Compare that to that one producer and Denise Richards over on BH. They are definitely a tight-knit crew. And that factors as well. Well, if Kathy must be there on BH, I expect to see more of Kim so we might get the 'full' view of their sister dynamic. And I want the Kathy you showed above. But I feel we are just going to get Faye Lite since Kyle's attempt to bring back Season 1 Kyle failed.
  4. YAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY GIRL!!! Now this is a MUST!!!
  5. Oooooo While true, I would think they, like Amazon who did a what furlough, could be fine for a while given how many watch Netflix versus...well other people. So I get the pause.
  6. Already? WOW!!!! I still have to binge ARROW, but I do agree personal life aside, Justin was a good Oliver.
  7. How did I NOT know he was rugby!!!! *hits head* But congrats!!! So happy for her.
  8. I think RHOM would beg to differ I think depending on how crazy the drama is for a season...or how boring in the case of BH last year where they had to expand the season filming, it is not unusual. And then you have POTOMAC...and I want to say NJ but I might be running where they start filming the new season almost immediately after the reunion wraps/airs/films so... What can I say? Those Georgia peaches keep it hopping...even their down time is usually filled with drama that the producers WISHED they got on film. ETA: So many goodies up in these last few pages. Cuz wait to get off work with a glass of wine and dish. @ChitHappens thanks for the heads-up about Karen and Monique getting squared. I was definitely worried.
  9. Ooooo....sounds like we will be getting the new season sooner rather than later...
  10. Thank you!!! La Dame has been coming out so well this year on the show and in real life with her getting airtime on tv to sell her perfume. I cannot believe how she has so turned her life around before the audience's eyes and show just about everything as a Housewife should. Given how this year has been, I find it truly inspiring as of late. Yes, the doctor was looking ignorant. And got called out AS SHE SHOULD. I am just sad that Candiace was not getting what Karen was trying to say. I don't know if YT is blocked where you are, but Karen's interview on the after show about it was very informative and if you can watch it, I definitely recommend...if only for more dragging of Doctor Wendy.
  11. I agree. The amount of women that has been filming it sounds like RHOA Season 6 (and RHOM S2 which I'm currently binging) where you have the main cast who are dynamic alone and THEN all of these recurring characters that add even more spark. The running rumor is that we might even get SEVEN housewives. But yes, like you, I NEEEEED the cast photo. Especially given all the drama surrounding Cynthia's wedding and it not being production filmed after all that built-up. So...does Cynthia get a peach or...? But I would love if they dropped it tomorrow. I am thinking Wednesday if we are lucky and Friday at the latest. ETA: Oh, second cast trip got revealed: NOLA. Jen I love you, but that's MELBOURNE's Gina tagline!!! Hopefully if she uses it, she says it with flare. I love Whitney and Lisa if true. Mary is meh. And Heather I might like depending on how she says it. Same with Meredith. I am looking forward to this too. And if we play our cards right, we might have FOUR (okay THREE since RHOP reunion will be going on) Housewives show running at the same time again.
  12. POTOMAC I really wish the construction workers knew the motto: 'if it's not broke, don't fix it.' The episode itself was as easy and breezy as the show has been this season. Now trying to watch it....CHORE. I will never understand how wireless tv works but too many on at the same time and it has playback loop error. Thankfully Andy Cohen likes to attach his show to the show so it was easy to make it through (and rewind) since it kept getting an error at commerical breaks so I got to skip those and keep with the episode. LOL!!! And I start with LA VIVA LA DAME!!! I knew I would be heated with those hoes for coming for you. But I should have known...LA DAME VICTORIOUS!!! They thought they were going to keep on her neck. Well...THEY WERE GONNA LEARN TODAY!!! lol. KAREN. I LOVE HER. Karen has really been the MVP this season so far. This is definitely her defining season. She ain't just words, hunni!!! She ACTS. Her words and her actions connect and they have been and continue to be understanding. And she is always fascinating to watch. And this episode gave so much (and while I am mentioning it...go watch the after show where she really goes in on Wendy...and T'Challa lol). You saw her with Ray and discussing their feelings. You saw her attempt to support Monique and Candiace. You saw her speak the truth to Candiace. You saw her gather Wendy all the way together. Karen is smart and knew why Wendy was there while her and Candiace talked. Wendy (like Karen said in the after show) was just there to try to check her and La Dame was not having it. Heck, La Dame looked like she was about to take a page from La Kane of AMC legend and pull a famous Erica Kane slap on her at one point. LOL!!! Karen is just coming across so real for me. And I am going to say...REALLY, RAY!!!! I guess it makes sense. So the age difference was the problem with them. But...they have been together for 23 years. So I hope they can continue to grow since it is clear that Karen for real loves her man. I was happy to see in the end that he held her hand. I was about to go off at first when he pulled his hand away, but thankfully he finally grabbed it. I hope they keep at it and sees that while he might not like how Karen is changing, Ray will still love these new parts of her...which are just old parts of her developing more. She is still Karen. Just love her. Love is hard to find and he has it and hopefully won't just throw it away. Meanwhile, I knew that comment was going to come back and bite her!!! I hope Monique talk to her before she jump to conclusions. Karen meant that IF IT WAS HER, not CANDIACE SHOULD PRESS CHARGES ON HER. YES, there is a difference in the two. I can't believe people are running with that. Ugh. Oh, well. I also loved La Dame reading Candiace. She did it in a friend way and good job. I simply wished Candiace had heard what she was trying to say. 1)She ain't a victim and her mouth got her popped 2)she is her friend 3) she is Monqiue's friend 4) who had Candiace back last year even when she was in the wrong so 5)who has Monique's back now. And most importantly 'Let me tell you something, Young Woman...' is code for 'let me get you together for thinking you were about to come for your Elder' and that was the tone Karen had and THAT sent me. Wow. 3 paragraphs on Karen. lol. Well I am about to sit down for some writing stuff after this. But this should show how important Karen has been...is...and CONTINUES to be. Call it the La Dame Effect!!! I keep saying...this is La Dame's world and those heffas are just revolving around it. 😜 I look forward to Round 2 of Karen dragging Wendy some more next week. GIZELLE. I said it last night and I'll say it again. You know what Gizelle's storyline really needs? Mr. Chocolate's mistress. AKA Shady Phae Phae aka MS. PHAEDRA PARKS, ESQUIRE!!! Because there's nothing going on here. It just feels fake and phony. Why else would she had felt the need to start drama with La Dame over Ray's (old news now) tax issues? She need to focus on her own drama...or lack there of. Not to mention her fashion sense. ROBYN. You know what? Some people after this week are calling her the Cynthia of this group. Some have also called her the Tara Mae...Terri DeMarco...uh...what is that girl's name? Something. You know...the boring one of the group. While Cynthia at least gives breathtaking looks after breathtaking looks, I see what people are talking about. I really enjoyed Robyn's solo scenes this week. Darn it if I have not been liking this wedding subplot in hindsight. I knew I was picking on it. But I have been enjoying the slow burn approach to it. It even humanizes Gizelle as she is doing something relateable...keeping a fun secret from her BFF...only time she appears like a human being with feelings in fact. But it's light fluff and I don't mind it. That brings me to why I like Robyn alone. She has really grown into her comedic timing. If she would just stay the goofy Mom she would be a hoot. It is when she is being Thing Number 2 that she loses me. And loved everyone shading the new wig. I mean...WTF ASHLEY. You just could not help yourself, could you? Ashley knew Karen did not tell Candiace to press charges on Monique. She said that IF IT WAS HER, she would press charge. There is a difference. But she just had to stir that pot just a little bit. Shame on her. I at least liked that she went to Monique's event. Remember...Motherhood Ashley > Season 1 Ashley. Don't make me regret warming to you this season, Girl. WENDY. BABYGIRL, NO, NO, NO!!! LA DAME AIN'T THE ONE YOU WANT, BOOBOO!!! And I see next week, you try it AGAIN!!! And La Dame is going to DRAGGGGG YOU again. She ain't the one you want. Cuz La Dame will let you know...and she started to...and she DEFINITELY DID on the aftershow...no, no. And it is a shame really. I liked Wine with Wendy. I loved what she was saying. Especially with the election a week away (and I voted). I really have taken her words to heart because going forward, I will be watching what my local government are doing now in a way that I did not before. I am really interested in the Board of Education race here since I took a chance on a teacher though both of the nomination were intriguing. I really want education to do better. But let me not get distracted hehe, Wendy's solo scenes are sound. Her husband is FOINE!!! And I understand as Candiace's BFF, she will have her back, but she really is not being a good friend if she is not only not seeing Candiace's part in it, but she is egging it on which is why she went downstairs during Karen/Candiace's talk. She knows Candiace looks up to La Dame as the mother she does not have and will take La Dame's advice to heart. Can't have that since she clearly does not like La Dame (and the feeling is mutual). Clearly, she is using the fight to cause a wedge between the two. But hey...Wendy is already showing herself to be a hypocrite with the fight then so what is one more thing, right? Other than her solo scenes and family scenes, Wendy continued to be a waste of a spot. Sorry, not sorry. CANDIACE. Le sigh. Honestly? I'm disappointed. She gained so much goodwill. She was trying to do better. And then in one moment (c) Gizelle Bryant...she lost it all. She has way too many people around her egging her on. But that means nothing if she herself won't take...I hate to use the word accountability...for herself. It's like those movies where artists become famous and find themselves surrounded by snakes buttering them up while meanwhile the ride-or-dies they had as they followed their dreams fall to the waysides because they are not saying what the artist want to hear, but are keeping it real. And that was what La Dame was doing with her. And she does not see it. And Karen reminding her of last year could also be seen as a warning of what will happen later on. As soon as Monique was done away with, the whole group (maybe not Wendy) would turn on Candiace. But she don't see that, her mama, Wendy, and Giz in her ear wanting her to stand up for something. And then that clip from next week just revealed for me that Candiace might have been playing games in the first place. Sadly...the game is now much too real that she has been countersued. MONIQUE. Well, she said this would be the journey back part. And so far, so good. Now that weeks have passed, she was doing what she had to. I loved that she invited the girls personally. Again, I would say listen to the after show for some tea on those calls. Veeerrry interesting how Monique saw those calls and what she was doing vs how the others saw the calls and what she was doing. The only one who appeared true to that scene honestly was Wendy. I will give her that credit. Meanwhile, Monique's event was good soap for me. She was the one who said any question could be asked. So when that question about the fight came up...that looked real to me. I liked her reaction, too. It might be weeks, but the feeling were still raw. And it would be more so next week when she countersued...and that promo...ooooo...producers are doing good with that cuz even I would say Monique was ice. Understandable ice, but ice. And then her meeting with Ashley...I hope she does not take that the wrong way and her and La Dame can clear it up. Wow. So much to say for an episode that for me was as easy and breezy as the first set of episodes. I am liking that each week we get another piece of the fight puzzle. I suspect there is a reason for that. hmmm. I definitely over the group's attempts to ice Monique out. And meanwhile, she is over here taking lemons and making lemonade. But I am ready for the climax to this. And wondering about the coda to this now that the first peak (the fight) has come and is passing... And in case anyone missed it...sounds like the reunion is filming this week and it will be IN PERSON!!!! Andy Cohen is taking questions.
  13. RHOA Trailer is definitely dropping this week unless something crazy happens. And right now Kenya, Porsha, Latoya, and Shamea are on a private jet flying off to Cast Trip Number 2. So I guess we are about to see who is in...and who is out... Oh, I completely agree and I agree with why Monique did it. Candiace is just bound and determined though to burn any goodwill she had coming into this season though. This clip is such a bad look for her. But her victim act now is bad too so... Oh, yes, I know the end of it. But the trip to getting there has been juicy for sure. Promo has been very on point and soapy to boot. And HOLLA!!! LOL!!! I knew there were rumors they were bringing someone back from the past in some form. I had hoped for Jill, but I like Heather, too. I am sure she will bring a good balance to the cast, too. Can't wait. And her husband is a cutie. What little I know of I like. And it's great to have some diversity there...especially since she is following everyone online BUT Erika. So...hmmmm. However, I don't have plans to watch next season until a miracle happens.
  14. Well...I guess turnabout is FAIR PLAY.
  15. EXACTLY. How can anyone watch that video and not feel empathy or sympathy. This year has been ROUGH on everybody. And rather than be a leader and try to do something about it, he is doing TOO MUCH to make it WORSE. If anything right now, he has become total scorched earth and how anyone can back that when the people being hurt have done NOTHING to deserve this amount of malice is just insane.
  16. I definitely liked the later season. Once Clark started to work in Metropolis. And it felt like the writers had a clear direction of where they were going...if not the budget. The more they started to connect to his DC roots (which started with Season 5 and the reemgerence of ratings), the more people started to invest. Let's just call it the Lois Effect. I haven't seen 10 since it first aired. If 9 was the Season of Zod yes I loved how they set that so perfectly and I LOVED Alia. I liked 8 but again budget. lol. That finale was a letdown. 7 in hindsight (other than 7.3 I did liked). 6 for the arrival of you know who...and a darker Lana (yes, I like her dark, not Mary Sue, and her scene with Lionel at the hospital was great). Hmmmm...if I had to pick a favorite season I guess it would be 9, too. It was just soooo well done.
  17. Well it got to that point at one point. Too weird. lol. Oooo...see? More reasons for me to binge. I have forgotten so much in the last few seasons.
  18. Oh...you... Nah...I admit...not my FAVORITE season, but I'm a bit of a ride-or-die for SMALLVILLE Season 4. Which it does seem funny to be on a 'magical quest'...the end was good...not to mention senior year in high school, a defining moment for most young tv shows...it was very reminiscent of BUFFY Season 5 which all of these unrelated episodes and things merged, revealing that it was all important all along to the seasonal arc. Granted BUFFY Season 5 did it better, but still...lol. Agree on Lois/Clark. Just Lois's development period honestly. And as I said...I liked Isobel. Lana...not so much.
  19. That makes me so ANGRY.
  20. They ARE effective. You are just idiots who clearly want to play Russian Roulette rather than admit that you are have small @#$% energy and thus can't own your crap.
  21. OC I find it funny that with NY, I do live and can't follow, but LOVE it when I binge. With OC, I watch it live, doze off, watch it later and it's background music. But it's background music that you dance to a little bit as you clean or work on something. I think this new dynamic is still starting and it takes getting used to. But so far, I don't dislike it. Much. lol. But it's so wild that the drama starting out is Tamra-based and she's not even on the season at all or isn't main. Gone, but NOT forgotten. EMILY. Sorry. Emily as Bone Collector < Emily the Nice Girl. She is just coming across as two faced to me. Yeah, I guess that should be not surprising since she's a lawyer, but it is. We know Emily after two years. She has wit. She should use her wit. No need to be...a mean girl. And that was all her and Gina were doing so far. If anything she was being OC's Robyn without having Robyn's comedic timing that is emerging on POTOMAC. She was even doing what Gina said like Robyn does with Gizelle. Uh...when did Gina become the IT girl? Yeeeeah...NO. GINA. Might as well talk about her. GIrl, you are trying waaaaaaaaaaaay too hard to be Queen Bee. First of all, if anyone is going to be on this show without Vicki or Tamra, IT...WON'T...BE...YOU. There is fun messy and I don't find Gina's messy fun. Mean...not fun. Bruanwyn was being an adult and Gina was just searching for a moment. Sorry, BooBoo...that backfired. And next week doesn't look any better. Exciting to see, but Gina is no Vicki, Tamra, or even Gizelle. Then again, Gina does have Gizelle's fashion sense so there is that. SHANNON. She is still coming across well. I liked seeing her working. I giggled at her thinking Braunwyn was preggers. She does appear to be off on her own island. It reminds me of Garcelle on BH. Both in a good way. KELLY. Meh. Non-event. ELIZABETH. Like I said last week...she's is giving a Vicki 2.0. Again not a bad thing. Nice intro to her family and life. BRAUNWYN. The target. Clearly. No wonder she does not want to tell the group yet that she is working on staying sober. I respected her for talking to Emily...even if Emily now seems to be undeserving of it. And I respect that she told Shannon someone who would understand that. And while she was being honest about Shannon mentioning Gina's house...it did come across as throwing her under the bus when she needs Shannon on her side. She is going to be on a tightrope for sure this season since Gina is bound and determined to be the star. And what does a star need? A rivalry!!!! So here we have Gina mad about Braunwyn mentioning her house. All of a sudden, Gina and Robyn...I mean Emily...want to talk about Braun's husband coming on to her. Rem. So transparent. So far, Braunwyn has been the adult in that rivalry, but it looks like that won't be the case next week. And it already looks like I would be Team Braun. Sorry. So a solid episode. Onto a binge of RHOM Season 2... WOOF!!!
